Abstract

This research aimed to design and develop an Exploded View 3D Model learning media on the brake system topic, as well as knowing the feasibility of learning media 3D Exploded View model on brake system topic. This study used the research and development method. The development model used the ADDIE, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the product trial were teachers and 11th-grade students in Public Vocational High School 11 Malang. Material experts and media experts carried out the product feasibility test phase. A media test was conducted on students. The data analysis technique used questionnaire and evaluation questions, as well as descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of this study were an Android-based learning media in the form of a 3D Exploded View model on brake system topic, and the results of the feasibility assessment by material experts got a percentage of 89.6 percent in the category of "feasible". The feasibility assessment by media experts received a percentage of 95.8 percent in the category of "feasible". The percentage obtained from small group trials was 85 percent with the category "feasible". The results of the student evaluation found that the average field trial score was 89. The conclusion of this research was the development of Android-based Learning media on the brake system topic is declared feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar pemrograman karena pengaruh penerapan PBL berbantu e-modul, mendiskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar pemrograman karena pengaruh penerapan PBL berbantuan bahan ajar cetak, dan mengungkap perbedaan rerata hasil belajar pemrograman karena pengaruh PBL berbantu e-modul dibandingkan PBL berbantu bahan ajar cetak. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X TKJ 1 dan X TKJ 2 di SMKN 7 Malang yang masing-masing berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar karena penerapan model PBL dengan berbantuan e-modul sebesar 0.47, peningkatan hasil belajar karena penerapan model PBL dengan berbantuan bahan ajar cetak sebesar 0.24, dan perbedaan hasil belajar ranah pengetahuan dengan sig 0.001<0.05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian terdapat peningkatan serta perbedaan hasil belajar pemrograman dasar siswa pada kelas bahan ajar e-modul dan dengan kelas bahan ajar cetak.

Abstract

This research discussed the effect of wage and work environment satisfaction on turnover intention of the employees from a manufacturing company that is engaged in wood processing, UD SGK, that is located in Kesamben, Blitar, East Java. The turnover intention in UD SGK was highly rated and was increasing per year, and it would influence the company productivity in the future. This research used a saturated sample technique which was all 35 production employees of UD SGK. The data was collected using a questionnaire and using simple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) employees satisfaction in wage in UD SGK was adequate, the work environment in UD SGK was in a low condition, and the turnover intention of UD SGK employees was in the high category, (2) wage satisfaction negatively and significantly influence the employees turnover intention, and (3) work environment negatively and affect the employees turnover intention substantially.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh self–discipline dan pengeta-huan teori pemesinan secara langsung dan melalui hasil belajar praktikum pemesinan terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja siswa SMK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan sampel sebanyak 86 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan jalur dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) tidak ada berpengaruh lang-sung self–discipline terhadap hasil belajar praktikum pemesinan tetapi ada pengaruh langsung terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja; (2) ada berpengaruh langsung pe-ngetahuan teori pemesinan terhadap hasil belajar praktikum pemesinan dan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja; dan (3) tidak ada pengaruh tidak langsung self–discipline dan pengetahuan teori pemesinan, melalui hasil belajar praktikum pemesinan, terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja.

Abstract

Project-based Learning (PjBL) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are multidisciplinary learning. The combination of PjBL-STEM aimed to improve vocational high school students' technical learning results and working characteristics. Thus, students, after graduating, could compete in the working world. This research used secondary data review method, consisted of 17 international journals, 11 national journals, and three literature books. Based on the secondary data review, the combination of PjBL-STEM would be maximized if the teacher directly involved in the learning, where the teacher acts as inspiratory, motivator, and facilitator. Then, the PjBL-STEM learning was started from designing until result presentation that could improve the creativity and problem-solving skills. PjBL-STEM improved the hard skill in the form of technical learning results and soft skill in the form of working characteristics. Therefore, model integration of PjBL and STEM should be well-prepared. The learning strategy in each lesson must be designed well, and the assessment dimensions must be chosen thoroughly so that multidisciplinary learning could be well-realized in vocational high school in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap hubungan dan sumbangan adversity intelligence (X1) dan persepsi mahasiswa memahami profesi guru (X2) de-ngan kepercayaan diri menjadi guru (Y). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian expose facto dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Sampel penelitian adalah maha-siswa S1 PTE angkatan 2013 sejumlah 106 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, reliabilitas (apha cronbach) X1, X2, dan Y secara berturut-turut adalah 0,90; 0,95; dan 0,93. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Regresi Linear Gan-da. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara X1 dan X2 dengan Y baik secara parsial maupun simultan dan Sumbangan efektif X1 terhadap Y sebesar 30,05%, dan X2 terhadap Y sebesar 4,30%. Efek adversity intelligence ter-hadap kepercayaan diri untuk menjadi guru lebih tinggi dibanding persepsi mahasis-wa dalam memahami profersi guru.

Abstract

This study investigates teachers' preparation policies and the policy execution in vocational high school in Indonesia. Using a qualitative method, the researcher selected university members who have been involved in teacher preparation programs and or policy making in Indonesia as the participants. The data collection and analysis were undertaken according to research questions focused on the governmental policies and the implementation of teachers' preparation. This result shows that teacher preparation policies in Indonesia were enacted based on the teacher and lecturer law in 2005. Afterward, in 2007, the minister of education upgraded a policy through two regulations, the teacher's qualification and competencies, and teacher certification. To get teacher certificate and incentives from the government, vocational high school teachers should make portfolios and join series of training. This, certainly, effectively encourages many youngsters to become a teacher. The policy of teacher certification was updated and upgraded again by the government through teacher education program through either in-service or pre-service. The teacher preparation policies are conducted by Indonesian government through teacher certification, that focuses on the quantity of certified teachers based on the national standard. Consequently, teachers will face difficulty in creating graduates with high competency standards and high competitiveness in the global market. Teacher quality improvement should be done clearly with the orientation on international standard.

Abstract

Vocational education aims to prepare graduates to be work-ready. Vocational education institutions, as preparer and providers of skilled labor candidate, must be able to utilize their resources and network partnerships resources with outsiders effectively. One way to meet the objectives of vocational education is to apply work-based learning in teaching factories. Work-based learning is a Contextual teaching-learning (CTL) approach where the business world or industrial world provides a set of structured work-based learning experiences. While teaching factory is the development of the production unit, namely the implementation of industrial partnership systems in the existing production units at SMK. The implementation of work-based learning in teaching factories in vocational education is expected to be able to increase the competitiveness of graduates.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memetakan tingkat keefektifan guru matemati-ka SMK dan kemenarikan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode pendekatan saintifik pada kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian menggunakan des-kriptif dengan subjek penelitian guru matematika dan siswa SMK yang menerapkan kurikulum 2013 se Malang Raya. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan: kuesioner, wawancara, dan data dianalisis dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Guru Matematika SMK: persiapan pembelajaran efektif (62,40%); penerapan pembelajaran kurang efektif (47,00%) Siswa SMK: kurang tertarik pada aspek persiapan pembelajaran (52,86%); dan kurang tertarik pada penerapan pembelajaran (50,13%).
