Falahiya: Research Journal of Islamic Banking and Finance is a journal published by the Islamic Banking Department of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, IAIN Ponorogo. Abstract

Introduction: The combination of effectiveness and technology positively impacts society in general due to the problems with Muamalat mobile banking, namely the TIN (Transaction Identification Number), during transactions, which provides sufficient benefits but still causes difficulties for customers. The main aim of this research is to analyze the role of financial technology in Muamalat DIN mobile banking. This research uses field research by looking for data sources directly from Bank Muamalat Ponorogo customers. By using a qualitative research approach. Research Methods: The data collection method used was interviews, with data validity and credibility techniques using triangulation techniques. Results: the results of this research are 1) fintech can provide its role to customers, 2) Factors that Influence Customer Perceptions in Transactions Using Financial Technology (fintech) at Muamalat DIN through 3 aspects, 3) obstacles that customers often face are errors and signals. Conclusion: the role of financial technology (fintech) in Muamalat DIN Ponorogo's mobile banking is sufficient to provide its role to its customers, and there is compatibility through practice in the field with several indicators of financial technology, namely knowledge about financial technology and effectiveness. In providing its role, of course, some factors influence customers' perceptions of making transactions using fintech at Muamalat DIN. Access to use provides convenience. However, there are obstacles for customers, such as application interference, signals that are difficult to reach, etc. Therefore, this is a significant technological obstacle regarding obstacles that customers, such as signal interference, often face.

Abstract

Introduction: Customer satisfaction is the key to assessing banks in meeting customer expectations. Satisfied customers tend to be loyal and can become positive promotional agents. Era 4.0 presents extraordinary developments in the banking industry. Generation Z, who relies on technology, wants responsive, easy-to-access, seamless banking services. Research Methods: Researchers used quantitative methods (primary data). The sample was 100 responses using a non-probability sampling technique using incidental sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire method, the instrument used a Likert scale. Data is processed with the SPSS 23 application. Results: These findings show that the service quality variable does not affect the overall satisfaction of Gen Z BSI KCP Ponorogo Soetta customers. The speed and convenience variables affect the overall satisfaction of Gen Z BSI KCP Ponorogo Soetta customers. However, service quality, speed, and convenience simultaneously influence the satisfaction of Gen Z BSI KCP Ponorogo Soetta customers. Conclusion: This research explains the influence of service quality, speed, and convenience on customer satisfaction of Gen Z BSI KCP Ponorogo Soetta. The service quality variable does not significantly influence Gen Z customer satisfaction at BSI KCP Ponorogo Soetta (sig X1 = 0.060 > 0.05), while speed (sig partially significant. Simultaneously, these three variables influence customer satisfaction (sig=0.000), contributing 55.0% to customer satisfaction, while other variables outside the model influence the remaining 45.0%.

Abstract

Introduction: The main objective of this research is to test and analyze the influence of perception, religiosity, financial rewards, job market considerations, and educational background on the career interest of FEBI PTKIN East Java students in sharia banking, as well as test and analyze differences in career interest between FEBI PTKIN East Java students in cities and regions. This research includes quantitative research. The population in this study were FEBI PTKIN East Java students, with 190 samples. Analysis in this study used SEM-PLS and Independent t Test. Based on the research that has been conducted, the analysis results show that perception, religiosity, financial rewards, job market considerations, and educational background have a positive and significant influence on students' career interest in Sharia banking. However, the results of different tests show no significant difference in career interest between students in cities and regions.

Abstract

Introduction: This research aims to better understand the factors influencing front-office service satisfaction after the office merger at BSI Ponorogo Soetta. The emergence of queuing problems felt by customers and front office officers not being ready to provide service causes customer satisfaction to decrease. This type of research is quantitative research with a sample size of 100 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques in the form of purposive sampling. The data obtained was then analyzed using the SPSS statistical program. This analysis consists of validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test), and multiple regression tests (partial test, simultaneous test, and determination test). The results of the research are that partially and simultaneously, the variables tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy influence customer satisfaction in the front office after the merger of the BSI KCP Ponorogo office with an R2 value of 0.911, meaning that it can explain variations in service quality of 91.1% and variables influence the remaining 8.9%.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine the effect of ZISWAF Fund Revenue, NPF Nett, and Musyarakah Income on NPF Gross with Firm Size as a Moderating Variable. Research Methods: The sample used in this study is a company in the financial sector registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2015.Q1 to 2023.Q3. The data analysis technique used is Panel Data Regression Analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the Eviews 12 application. Results: The results showed that ZISWAF Fund Revenue and NPF Nett had a positive effect on NPF Gross for the period 2018.Q1-2023.Q3. Musyarakah financing and firm size has a negative effect on NPF Gross for the period 2018.Q1-2023.Q3. Firm Size is able to moderate ZISWAF Fund Revenue and Musyarakah Income on NPF Gross for the period 2018.Q1-2023.Q3. Conclusion: Firm Size is able to moderate ZISWAF Fund Revenue and Musyarakah Income. Future research is expected to use other variables as moderating variables, such as dividend policy and use company samples from other sectors.

Abstract

Introduction: BPRS Mitra Mentari Sejahtera has implemented personal selling as a marketing method, but according to data obtained by researchers, iB business partner financing products have not experienced an increase in the number of customers. So this research shows that personal selling marketing has a less than optimal role in influencing customer interest in using iB Business Partner Financing. Research Methods: This research uses a qualitative approach using field research methods and this type of research is field research and the techniques used are interviews, documentation and observation. Results: The results of this research are BPRS Mitra Mentari Sejahtera in its implementation only applies 5 of the 7 strategies from Kotler and Keller's theory, including prospecting, approach, presentation, handling objections, closing, while the strategies that are not used are preapproach and follow up. The obstacle to the implementation of BPRS Mitra Mentari Sejahtera is the lack of extensive marketing carried out by the bank. Conclusion: this research shows that personal selling marketing has a less than optimal role in influencing customer interest in using iB Business Partner Financing.

Abstract

Introduction: In this era of rapid technological development, the number of BSI mobile users is still very small. And many customers do not use BSI Mobile even though they have the application. Then there are field facts that show differences with the theory of attitudes towards technology by generations X, Y and Z. So the purpose of this study is to find out how the perception of usefulness by the three generations in the use of BSI Mobile and to find out how the impact of this on the number of BSI Mobile usage. Research Methods: This research is qualitative research and includes the type of research (field research). Results: The results of this study show that generations X and Y have a positive perception of BSI Mobile benefits, which shows that BSI Mobile makes their work faster, increases productivity, makes work performance better, their work is easier, BSI mobile is very useful for them and feels BSI Mobile It is effective. Then also in generation Z they have a perception of expediency that BSI Mobile makes their work faster, makes job performance better, work easier, and feels BSI Mobile is effective. However, generation Z feels that BSI mobile provides less benefits for them and does not increase their productivity. Conclusion: The impact of the perceived usefulness of generations X, Y and Z is an increase in the number of BSI Mobile usage.

Abstract

Introduction: Ratio explains the relationship between one amount and another amount. An analyst can gain insight into a company's financial situation and its good and bad aspects by using ratios as an analytical tool. The purpose of financial ratio analysis is to help managers understand what a business should do given its limited financial data. This research aims to compare the financial ratios of BSI, BTN Syariah and Bank Muamalat Indonesia in terms of NPF, ROA and FDR. Research Methods: This research is included in Quantitative research using comparative analysis. The population in this study were financial reports from BSI, BTN Syariah and BMI with 84 financial report samples. Analysis of this research data used the One Way Anova test with the help of the IBM SPSS version 26 program. Results: From this research, the results obtained: there is no difference in the financial ratios of BSI, BTNS and BMI on the NPF variable. The financial ratios in terms of BSI ROA do not have a significant difference with the BTNS ROA value, and the BSI and BTNS ROA values ​​have a significant difference with the BMI ROA value. Conclusion: There are differences in the financial ratios of BSI, BTNS and BMI in terms of FDR

Abstract

Introduction: This research aims to analyze the level of bank health and symptoms of financial distress in Indonesian and Malaysian Sharia Banks for 2018-2022 period. Research Methods: The research method is quantitative descriptive using RGEC, Springate S-Score and Zmijewski X-Score. Data analysis using Normality Test, Sign-Wilcoxon Difference Test and Mann Whitney Test. Data used is from the bank's annual financial and GCG report for the 2018-2022 period. Results: Level of bank health using RGEC analysis shows Indonesian Sharia Commercial Banks in "Healthy" condition with percentage of 73%. Likewise, Malaysian Sharia Commercial Banks are in "Healthy" condition with percentage of 81%. This indicates that the health level of Malaysian BUS is better than Indonesian BUS. Measuring the level of financial distress using Springate S-Score analysis shows that Indonesian and Malaysian BUS are in healthy condition. Conclusion: The Sign-Wilcoxon difference test show that when comparing the level of soundness of Islamic banks there is a difference in the NPF and BOPO ratios, while there is no difference in the ROA ratio. Meanwhile, in the FDR using the Mann Whitney test, it is known that there are differences, ROE and CAR ratios of Sharia Commercial Banks there are no differences.

Abstract

Introduction: This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine the effect of BOPO, CR and CAR on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). The analysis technique used in this study is the Error Correction Model (ECM) with a significance level of 5%. Research Methods: This data collection method is in the form of secondary data, namely the quarterly financial report data of BPRS Lantabur Tebuireng for the 2020-2024 period from the NPF variable obtained from the official OJK website. Results: The results of this study indicate that BOPO in the short term has no effect on NPF, while in the long term it has an effect on NPF. CR in the short term has no effect on NPF, while in the long term, it has an effect on NPF. CAR in the short term and long term has no effect on NPF. Conclusion: BOPO, FDR, and CAR simultaneously in the short term have no significant effect on NPF, while in the long term, they have a significant effect on NPF.
