Abstract

SMP N 1 Kertek memiliki permasalahan dimana siswa berupa kurang memahami materi IPS dengan cara penyampaian konvensional. Pengembangan multimedia interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan potensi di sekolah. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan adalah dari Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Tim Puslitjaknov. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA sebanyak 30 siswa dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket. Penelitian menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif berbasis flash yang dikemas dalam bentuk CD Drive yang telah diuji kelayakannya oleh ahli materi dengan skor akumulasi 91,7% yang termasuk kategori “sangat layak” dan penilaian ahli media mendapatkan kategori “sangat layak” dengan skor 90,6%.. Dari penilaian pada uji coba kecil mendapatkan kategori “sangat baik” dengan nilai 87,9%. Sehingga, pengembangan media pembelajaran multimedia Interaktif berbasis flash pada materi sejarah di SMP N 1 Kertek layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. SMP N 1 Kertek has a problem where students do not understand social studies material in a conventional way. Development of interactive multimedia as a learning media to help overcome the problem in accordance with the needs and potential at school. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D). The development procedure used is from Borg & Gall modified by the Puslitjaknov Team. The test subjects in this study were VIIA class students as many as 30 students with data collection techniques of observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research resulted in a flash-based interactive multimedia learning media product packaged in the form of a CD Drive which has been tested for feasibility by material experts with an accumulated score of 91.7% which is included in the "very feasible" category and the assessment of media experts getting the "very feasible" category with a score of 90.6%. From the assessment in the small trial, it was categorized as "very good" with a score of 87.9%. Thus, the development of flash-based Interactive multimedia learning media on historical material at SMP N 1 Kertek is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Kesenian tari Jaran Kepang merupakan salah satu bagian dari kebudayaan Indonesia yang perlu dilestarikan keberadaanya dikehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Menganalisis sejarah lahirnya kesenian tari Jaran Kepang kelompok paguyuban Turonggo Wargo Budoyo Dusun Gebudan. (2) Menganalisis makna simbolik kesenian tari Jaran Kepang kelompok paguyuban Turonggo Wargo Budoyo Dusun Gebudan. (3) Menganalisis eksistensi kesenian tari Jaran Kepang kelompok paguyuban Turonggo Wargo Budoyo Dusun Gebudan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) Sejarah lahirnya kesenian tari Jaran Kepang di Dusun Gebudan bangkit didasari oleh kepedulian dan antusiasme beberapa tokoh masyarakat terhadap kesenian dan kebudayaan tradisional khususnya kesenian tari Jaran kepang, (2) Makna simbolik yang terdapat pada kesenian tari Jaran Kepang adalah sikap bijak dan tanggungjawab seorang pemimpin, kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap peraturan yang ada, memupuk sikap persatuan dan nasionalisme, ketekunan belajar dan memiliki jiwa semangat yang besar untuk menjalani kehidupan, (3) Tantangan yang dihadapi berupa cuaca dan iklim serta keadaan ekonomi masyarakat. Faktor pendorongnya adalah adanya kreativitas para seniman, fasilitas yang lengkap dan memadai, adanya dukungan dari pemerintah, partisipasi dan antusiasme yang tinggi masyarakat serta media sosial sebagai sarana melestarikan kesenian tari Jaran Kepang. The Jaran Kepang dance art is a part of Indonesian culture that needs to be preserved in people's lives. The objectives of this research are: (1) Analyzing the history of the birth of the Jaran Kepang dance art of the Turonggo Wargo Budoyo community group, Gebudan Hamlet. (2) Analyzing the symbolic meaning of the Jaran Kepang dance art of the Turonggo Wargo Budoyo community group, Gebudan Hamlet. (3) Analyzing the existence of the Jaran Kepang dance art of the Turonggo Wargo Budoyo community group, Gebudan Hamlet. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research reveal that: (1) the history of the birth of the Jaran Kepang dance art in Gebudan Hamlet was based on the concern and enthusiasm of several community leaders for traditional arts and culture, especially the Jaran Kepang dance art, (2) the symbolic meaning contained in the Jaran Kepang dance art is a wise attitude. and the responsibilities of a leader, community compliance with existing regulations, fostering an attitude of unity and nationalism, perseverance in learning and having a great enthusiasm for living life, (3) challenges faced in the form of weather and climate as well as the economic situation of the community. The driving factors are the creativity of the artists, complete and adequate facilities, support from the government, high participation and enthusiasm of the community and social media as a means of preserving the art of Jaran Kepang dance.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa kelas VII.B SMP Negeri 16 Semarang adalah lemahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menerapkan pengetahuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata terutama dalam memahami permintaan dan penawaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 16 Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 menggunakan model pendekatan Problem Based Learning. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 7B sebanyak 34 Siswa-siswi yang terdiri laki-laki 15 Siswa dan perempuan 19 Siswi. Sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari data kualitatif berupa data hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta data kuantitatif berupa data tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh siswa yang tuntas secara individu sebanyak 34 siswa-siswi dengan rata-rata perolehan nilai 78,00. Sedangkan hasil penelitian siklus II mengalami peningkatan rata-rata nilai menjadi 90,00 atau meningkat sebesar 15%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII.B SMP Negeri 16 Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.   One of the problems in learning Social Sciences (IPS) for class VII.B students of SMP Negeri 16 Semarang is the weak ability of students to apply knowledge to solve problems in real life, especially in understanding demand and supply. To overcome this problem, classroom action research (PTK) was conducted using the Problem Based Learning model. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of class VII B students of SMP Negeri 16 Semarang in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The subjects of the study were 34 class 7B students. The source of research data was obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher and student activities and quantitative data in the form of student learning outcome test data. The results of the cycle I study obtained that 34 students completed individually with an average score of 78.00. While the results of the cycle II study experienced an increase in the average score to 90.00 or an increase of 15%. Based on the results of these studies, learning using the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VII.B students of SMP Negeri 16 Semarang in the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

Permasalahan Pembelajaran IPS di SMP Hasanuddin 2 Kota Semarang kelas VIII yaitu hasil belajar rendah.  Faktor penyebabnya yaitu model pembelajaran yang digunakan pada pembelajaran IPS kurang bervariasi dan bersifat teacher center, siswa kurang aktif dan cepat bosan. Perlu inovasi baru melalui model pembelajaran yang tidak cepat membuat siswa bosan dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, salah satunya menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis Pre-Experimental One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari kelas VIII B dengan jumlah 18 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) diterapkan pada kelas VIII B dengan tahap contructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning community, modeling, reflection, dan authentic asessment. Model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS kelas VIII SMP Hasanuddin 2 Kota Semarang. The problem of social studies learning at Hasanuddin 2 Junior High School, Semarang City, class VIII is low learning outcomes.  The contributing factor is that the learning model used in social studies learning is less varied and teacher centered, students are less active and quickly bored. Need new innovations through learning models that do not quickly make students bored and can improve learning outcomes, one of which uses Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. This study uses quantitative research methods with the type of Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample was taken with purposive sampling technique consisting of class VIII B with a total of 18 students. The results showed that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model was applied to class VIII B with the stages of contructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of social studies class VIII SMP Hasanuddin 2 Semarang City.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru harus mampu memberikan bekal kepada siswa dalam berfikir kritis, analisis dan kreatif sehingga diperlukan dalam pembelajaran IPS yang inovatif, menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa agar mata pelajaran IPS tidak dianggap pembelajaran yang membosankan dan monoton sehingga memberikan dampak terhadap minat dan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS kurang maksimal. Hasil belajar merupakan perubahan perilaku yang terjadi setelah siswa mengikuti proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi bahwa pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 41 Semarang masih menggunakan metode ceramah. Penerapan metode diskusi telah dilakukan akan tetapi penerapannya masih kurang optimal sebab masih banyak siswa kurang berpartisipasi dan tidak aktif dalam berkelompok. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru harus variatif dan tepat sasaran dengan didukung media pembelajaran siswa akan lebih memahami materi yang disampaikan. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang.The learning carried out by teachers must be able to provide provisions for students to think critically, analytically and creatively so that it is needed in social studies learning that is innovative, insteresting and fun for students so that social studies subjects are not considered boring and monotonous learning so that they have an impact on interest and learning outcomes in the subject. Social studies lessons are not optimal. Learning outcomes are changes in behavior that occur after students follow the learning process in accordance with  educational goals. Based on observations, social studies learning at SMP Negeri 41 Semarang still uses the lecture method. The application of the discussion method has been carried out, but its application is still not optimal because there are still many students who do not participate enough and are not active in groups. The learning methods used by teachers must be varied and targeted. Supported by media learning media, students will better understand the material presented. The results of research and data analysis show that there is an influence of the Make A Match learning method on students learning outcomes in class VIII social studies at SMP Negeri 41 Semarang

Abstract

Experience-based learning strategies are a relevant innovative approach in history education because they are able to provide more contextual and meaningful learning experiences. This article aims to explore the urgency of implementing experience-based learning strategies in history learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a case study approach in high schools in the Yogyakarta area. Data was obtained through observation, interviews with history teachers, and document analysis. The research results show that experience-based learning strategies, such as simulations, visits to historical sites, and collaborative projects, are able to increase students' interest in learning, understanding of history, and strengthening character values ​​such as nationalism and empathy. However, the implementation of this strategy still faces several obstacles, such as limited facilities, time and policy support. This article emphasizes the importance of support from educational institutions in providing facilities and teacher training to optimize experience-based strategies. By implementing this strategy effectively, history learning not only focuses on transferring knowledge, but is also able to build student involvement and increase their awareness of the importance of history in today's life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di buat dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara siswa dan orang tua serta menganalisis persepsi siswa dan orang tua di Desa Karanganyar, Demak. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Interaksionalisme Simbolik milik George Herbert Mead. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis. Data penelitian ini yaitu melalui wawancara semi struktur dengan informan utama yaitu beberapa pasang siswa dan orang tua. Fokus penelitian ini adalah eksplorasi hubungan interpersonal antara siswa dan orang tua dalam membentuk motivasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi, serta kajian mendalam terhadap persepsi dan pola pikir kedua pihak terhadap nilai dan relevansi pendidikan tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa meskipun faktor sosial ekonomi sering kali menjadi kendala utama dalam melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi, peran orang tua yang mendukung, memberi harapan, dan memberikan contoh nyata sangat berpengaruh dalam memotivasi siswa. Dukungan moral dan nasihat dari orang tua menjadi pendorong utama bagi siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi, sementara faktor sosial ekonomi dan pandangan keluarga tentang pendidikan tinggi juga berperan penting dalam keputusan tersebut. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the relationship between students and parents and analyzing the perceptions of students and parents in Karanganyar Village, Demak. This research uses George Herbert Mead's Symbolic Interactionalism Theory. This research method uses a qualitative research method by applying a qualitative phenomenological approach. The data for this research is through semi-structured interviews with the main informants, namely several pairs of students and parents. The focus of this research is an exploration of interpersonal relationships between students and parents in forming motivation to continue higher education, as well as an in-depth study of the perceptions and mindsets of both parties regarding the value and relevance of higher education. The results of this research show that although socio-economic factors are often the main obstacle in continuing higher education, the role of parents who support, give hope and provide real examples is very influential in motivating students. Moral support and advice from parents are the main drivers for students to pursue higher education, while socio-economic factors and family views about higher education also play an important role in the decision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain True Experimental yaitu pre-test-post-test Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Semarang yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 13 Semarang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol, yaitu 94 > 84. Selain itu, hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model problem based learning dengan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills in social studies subjects. The research employed a quantitative method with a True Experimental design, specifically a pre-test – post-test Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects were eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Semarang, selected randomly using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the problem based learning learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in social studies at SMP Negeri 13 Semarang. This is evidenced by the higher average score of the experimental class compared to the control class, 94 > 84. Furthermore, the t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students using the problem based learning model and those using conventional models.

Abstract

Permasalahan di SMPN 8 Semarang yaitu kurangnya kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas  VII pada mata pelajaran IPS. Tujuan penelitian yaitu: (1) Menganalisis implementasi  kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN 8 Semarang. (2) Menganalisis peran guru IPS dalam menanamkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMPN 8 Semarang. (3) Menganalisis kendala dan upaya dalam menanamkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMPN 8 Semarang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian: (1) Implementasi belum optimal karena kurangnya rasa minat peserta didik terhadap IPS, ditunjukkan dengan minimnya rasa percaya diri dan inisiatif diri. (2) Peran guru sebagai pembimbing, teladan, motivator, dan fasilitator. (3) Kendala meliputi aspek psikologi peserta didik (minat) dan aspek lingkungan (lingkungan pertemanan dan keluarga). Upaya yang dilakukan meliputi pengadaan program 18-21 dan ekstrakurikuler KIR, serta pengoptimalisasi peran guru sebagai pendidik, motivator, dan fasilitator. The problem at SMPN 8 Semarang is the lack of learning independence of class VII students in social studies. The objective of the study are: (1) To analyze the implementation of learning independence in social studies learning for class VII students at SMPN 8 Semarang. (2) To analyze the role of social studies teachers in instilling learning independence in students in social studies learning for class VII at SMPN 8 Semarang. (3) To analyze the obstacles and efforts in instilling learning independence in students in social studies learning for class VII at SMPN 8 Semarang. Using a descriptive qualitative approach. Interview, observation, and documentation methods. Research result: (1) Implementation is not optimal due to the lack of interest in social studies among students, indicated by minimal self-confidence and self-intiative. (2) The role of teachers as guides, role models, motivators, and facilitators. (3) Obstacles include aspects of student psychology (interest) and environmental aspects (friendship and family environment). Efforts made include the provision of the 18-21 program and KIR extracurricular activities, as well as optimizing the role of teachers as educators, motivators, and facilitators.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan meningatkan keterlibatan dan kreativitas siswa kelas 9 SMP dalam pembelajaran sejarah kemerdekaan Indonesia melalui metode pembelajaran bermain peran dan poster. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penilaian tindakan kelas dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa dan hasil tugas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, antusiasme siswa, dan hasil tugas yang menunjukkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Siswa membuat poster sejarah menunjukkan pemahaman materi, namun partisipasi kurang karena 9 siswa tidak menyelesaikan tugas. Siswa bermain peran meningkatkan partisipasi dan kreativias siswa. Penilaian kreativitas dapat dinilai melalui poster yang telah dihasilkan. Penilaian proses membuat poster perlu dinilai melalui observasi. Metode pembelajaran poster dan tugas individu dapat melatih kreativitas personal siswa, sehingga keaktifan dalam pembelajaran kurang diperhatikan. The Research aims to improve and creativity of 9th grade junior high school students in learning Indonesian independence history through role-playing and poster learning methods. The reserarch method used is classroom action assessment with a qualitative research type. Research data was obtained from observations of teacher and student activities and task results. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student participation in learning, student enthusiasm, and task results that showed student' understanding of the material. Students making history posters showed understanding of the material, but participation was low because 9 students did not complete the assignment. Students playing role-playing improved student participation and creativity. Creativity assessment can be assessed through the posters that have been produced. However, the assessment of the poster making process needs to be assessed through observation. The poster and individual assignment learning method can train student' personal creativity, so that their activeness in learning is less noticeable.
