Abstract

Background : Health Integrated Comprehensif (Posyandu) is important in monitoring for infants, toddlers and the role of his mother. Efforts to increase coverage of D/S (level partisipasion) to Posyandu are expected under five suffering from malnutrition and malnutrition can be detected so quickly to do intervention measures and countermeasures. Puskesmas Gabus I Grobogan in two consecutive years 2014 and 2015 have not reached the standard SPM and achievements 76.8% and 77.8%. Methods : The study by cross sectional on the 46 mothers, toddler age 12-24 months. Statistical analysis using Chi-square test and logistic regression test. Results : The results showed 50% of women participate actively and 50% inactive to Posyandu, means participation in the region Puskesmas I considered optimal. Most educated respondents Basic 30 respondents, 31 respondents out of work, 27 respondents knowledgeable unfavorable. 13 respondents working and inactive to the Posyandu. 19 respondents had knowledgeable less well and had no active participation. 17 respondents whose families are less active support and participation, and there are 15 respondents who had PMT unfavorable perception and also inactive. There is a relationship between education, employment, knowledge, family support and the perception PMT of the level of community participation (D / S) to the Posyandu. The most dominant factor affecting the level of community participation in sequence as follows: education, employment, knowledge, family support, and perceptions PMT with value (p value 0.000; 0.001; 0.052; 0.089; 0.992). Conclusions : education, employment, knowledge, family support, and perceptions PMT have a relationship and influence on the level of participation (D/S), so it is still necessary to increase outreach activities and health promotion efforts more to increase mother visits to Posyandu

Abstract

Background : The intake of nutriens is less than can cause developmental disordes and growth, this causing problebs in malnutrition of children, one of malnutrition based of PSG in Central Java at 2015, the indicator BB/TB prevalence of underweight by 6,9 % and amount to 7,02 % of Semarang. The prevelance of nutrition status in Puskesmas Bangetayu with indicator BB/TB is 11,24 % is the third highest rank on Semarang. One effort to solving problem of underweigth is a gift from PMT is the modisco formula. Hight protein ang energy of ice cream due to addition modisco formula can be alternative snack to children with underweight status. Objective : This study aims to determine the effect of modisco ice cream on stunting to weight gain. Methods :This study is true true experiment with pretest-posttest design with control group. The research subject sebangayk 22 toddlers, consisting of 11 treatment and 11 control, a toddler with malnutrition status indicators BB / TB in Puskesmas Bangetayu. In this study, the treatment was given a modisco ice cream at 100 g for 14days. Results: The mean intake of energy and protein before treatment amounted to 738.86 ± 192.01 kcal and 22.69 g in the treatment group and 1087.12 ± 245.20 kcal and 27.26 g in the control group. The mean intake of energy and protein after treatment amounted to 738.86 ± 192.01 kcal and 27.46 g in the treatment group and 815.3 ± 182.3 kcal and 27.71 g in the control group. Average excess weight of 0.391 kg infants in the treatment group and 0.185 kg in the control group. Conclusion  : There is the effect of modisco ice cream to increase weight on underweight of childrean under five with p = 0.01 (p 0.05)

Abstract

Background: The glycemic index is a value that indicates the ability of a carbohydrate-containing foods in improving blood sugar. Previous research also done extensive research on the glycemic index of a food, but every meal we consume some foods and through various treatment processes This study will calculate the glycemic index prepared foods namely pecel distinguished from varieties of rice such as rice Ciherang that have a low glycemic index (55), brown rice has a medium glycemic index (59) and Sintanur rice has a high glycemic index (91). Based on this background, researchers interested in researching on the difference in value of glycemic index and glycemic load of rice pcel of three kinds of rice. Objective: To determine differences in the value of glycemic index and glycemic load on Ciherangpecel of rice, red rice, and rice Sintanur. Methods: This study used an experimental research design. There were three treatment groups each group consisting of 9 people. After 10 hours of fasting blood glucose measurements were taken and given 50 grams of carbohydrates such as white bread 95 grams. Blood glucose levels were measured again at minute 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120. An interval of one week, the subjects were given pecelciherang rice, red rice and rice Sintanur, subsequently re-measured blood glucose as the first treatment. Results: The value of rice IG pecelCiherang rice was 86.67, 86.69 pecel brown rice and rice pecelSintanur 90.59. Pecel glycemic load of 43.82 Ciherang rice, red rice 43.95 and 45.38 Sintanurpecel rice.

Abstract

Background : Essential hypertension is the hypertension that is often experienced by adolescents (aged 13-18 years). Food sources of potassium has excellent potential to lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure. One of them is a soybean that has a potassium content of 1797 mg / 100 g which can be processed into cookies . Objectives : To determine the effectiveness of soy bean cookies to blood pressure in senior high school students of class X State 10 Semarang Method : The types of research is a true experimental Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. Number of subjects in the study of 20 persons. 10 persons the treatment group and 10 persons control group with a blood pressure of students who otherwise hypertension if ≥90 percentile according to age. This type of treatment given is the provision of a cookie soybean 100g a day , for 7 days. Statistical analysis used is anova repeated measure test. Result : In the treatment group there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after treatment has been controlled with potassium intake (p=0.000). A decrease in blood pressure after the administration of cookies soybeans is systolic blood pressure of 6.7 mmHg from 135.7 ± 5.16 mmHg to be 129± 4.94 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 5 mmHg mmHg of 79.00±8.472 to be 75.00 ± 79.475 mmHg in the treatment group. Conclusion : There is a decrease in the effectiveness of blood pressure with soybean cookies s were statistically significant in Senior High School State 10 Semarang students hypertension. As an alternative choice of functional foods and effective in lowering blood pressure.

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of underweight children in Demak Regency was 21%, the percentage was over the data from Central Java. Underweight will hamper the cognitive and motor development to children with a negative impact to the future. This study aims to determine the correlation between energy and protein intake, disease, parenting, attitude, knowledge, education, occupation and income with the underweight. Methods: The data used in this research is Basic Data Collecting (PDD) of Polytechnic of Health Ministry of Health Semarang. This study is an explanatory research with cross sectional design. The sampling was carried out at random (random sampling) to get 420 children as sample aged 0-59 months. Nutrition Factor (energy and protein) was gotten by Food Recall for 3 x 24 hours, Disease history factor, Parenting factors (parenting, attitudes, knowledge) and socioeconomic factors (education, occupation and income) were obtained using a questionnaire with interview methode. The Analytic analysis used chi – square test. Results: There was no correlation between intake of energy, protein intake, maternal parenting, maternal attitude, maternal knowledge, maternal education, maternal occupation, maternal income with underweight, and there is a significant correlation between children infectious disease history with underweight problem at p = 0.047 (p 0.05) OR = 1.6. Conclusion: There is significant correlation between the disease history and underweight. Need to do weight measurements regularly to observe the underweight problem to children in posyandu

Abstract

Background : Diabetus mellitus (DM) is a disease whose prevalence is increasing every year. Need to do the control, prevention, and to set DM 4 main pillars, there are dietary therapy, exercise, counseling, and treatment. The level of patient compliance in implementing diet and taking medication therapy DM is still low. Should look for functional foods in the management of Type 2 diabetic patients such as soy milk. Based on the nutrient content in the form of the amino acid arginine, lecithin, fiber and minerals chromium, soy milk is beneficial to increase insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism blood that help blood glucose levels may be decreased. Objective : This study aimed to determine the effect of soy milk on blood glucose levels of patients DM type 2. Method : The design of this study was pretest - posttest control group design with a sample of 10 people in the treatment group and 10 people in the control group. The sample in this study is that patients in FKTP (Health Facility Level One) dr. Heru Setyono located in Blora district. Result : The results showed that administration of soy milk for 7 days can lower fasting blood glucose in the treatment group by 13.9 mg / dl. Statistical test results Paired T test (sig 0.005), indicating that there is difference between the blood glucose levels before and after treated by administration of soy milk for 7 days in the treatment group. Conclusion : It is concluded that the provision of as much as 25 grams of soy milk is given 2 times a day within 7 days, it can lower blood sugar levels as much as 13.9 mg / dl. It is advisable to be developed as an alternative therapy in patients by DM type 2.

Abstract

Background: Amount 90% of hypertension cases are not clearly known therefore it is also called the silent killer. Pravalensi of hypertension in Salatiga amounted to 32.06%, the figure had exceeded the national rate. This study aims to determine risk factors that may affect the incidence of hypertension among members of the police in Salatiga City, because based of the screening amount 23.5% of police suffered high blood pressure. Methods: Descriptive analytic research in case control study with 1: 2 ratio . The research was conducted on members of police counted 78 respondents. Retrieval of data using measurements of blood pressure, Height, Weight, interviews, and a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire to inquire sodium intake. The data obtained and analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyzes. Results: The univariate showed 64% of respondents are current smokers, 60.3% strenuous physical activity, 66.7% malnutrition, and 51.3% sodium intake sufficiently. Chi square analysis showed there was a correlation between smoking and the incidence of hypertension, and correlation between nutritional status and the incidence of hypertension on a police officer. Analysis multivariate showed that nutritional status is the most related factor to hypertension. Conclusion: Factors that causes a person at risk of hypertension are the frequency of smoking and overweight or obesity

Abstract

Background : Diabetes Mellitus is a degenerative disease, one of the cause is false meal system, such as high fat sugar,and also low fiber. Counseling is one of nutrition service which has a purpose to change knowledge,attitucle,and meal system based on patient’s necessary,so it can measure the diet obedience that has been decided. Patient’s obedience to nutrition’s principle and meal plan is one of obstacle for diabetes patient. Objective : Knowing the influence of nutrition counseling to diet’s obedience of Diabetes Mellitus Sufferer type 2 in progressive treatment in RSUD Dr.R.Soetijono Blora. Method : Quasi Experiment non randomizes and pretest postest’s plan. Sample interpretation by using purposive sampling technique,gaining sample of 20 respondent based on inclusive criteria. Data analysis uses statistic experiment of Mc Nemar test to analyze counseling to diet’s obedience. Result : No diversity of diet’s obedience before and after counseling to Diabetes Mellitus patient in RSUD Dr.R.Soetijono Blora (p=0,22) Conclusion : Diet’s obedience of Diabetes Mellitus patient is not different before and after counseling to Diabetes Mellitus patient in RSUD Dr.R.Soetijono Blora.
