Abstract

This research aims to improve the weaknesses that exist in the manual correspondence management system at Gandasoli Village Office. The method used in this research is the waterfall system development method. The website-based letter management application created is intended to facilitate letter management at Gandasoli Village Office in terms of making letters, inputting data needed for making letters, printing letters and storing letters, managing incoming and outgoing letters, managing and grouping letter data that has been made based on the letter group, searching letters based on Letter Number and printing incoming and outgoing letter reports.

Abstract

The LP3I Pekanbaru Polytechnic community service team carries out routine activities every semester, which this time are held in Pandau Jaya Village, Jalan Kapling RT 02, RW 20, Kampar Regency. This activity takes the form of training for housewives in making papaya chips, where papaya fruit is very easy to find anywhere, the price is affordable and on average, several houses use their yards by planting papaya fruit. The aim of the training that we provide from the community service team at LP3I Pekanbaru Polytechnic is so that housewives can utilize their time by utilizing plants in their yard, apart from being a healthy family snack, they can also earn side income, which aims to help the family economy and The next target is the formation of papaya stick MSMEs in Pandau Jaya Village.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) is one form of the Tridharma of Higher Education. This PKM is proposed to carry out socialization and educational activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Budi Mulya in West Pademangan, North Jakarta City. This activity is proposed to educate elementary school students about healthy internet use. This activity is carried out by observing that internet use in the student environment is very difficult to inhibit or limit. In today's modern era, internet use can not only be done via computer devices, but can also be accessed via smart devices or smartphones. So it is increasingly difficult to control children's use of the internet. However, many internet users are not aware of the dangers of negative impacts from the internet. Therefore, it is necessary to increase vigilance and awareness of the dangers of the negative impacts of the internet which are unconsciously carried out by internet users, especially students in elementary schools. Based on these problems, the idea of socializing and educating healthy internet use for elementary school students could be one of disseminating knowledge and training regarding healthy internet use for education and for students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web and mobile system for activity management for homeowners in villages. Villages have a smaller population compared to cities, but as the population in villages increases, activities in villages become more difficult to manage. Developing a web and mobile activity management system is a necessity and needs to be proposed to solve problems in villages. So it is necessary to develop web and mobile system applications so that it makes it easier for village house owners to use cellphones or computers to access village services. Admin can make appointments for village officials and admin can make village reports. Residents who have houses in the village are able to manage family members and guests, edit, update profiles. Apart from that, you can also upload payment receipts for maintenance with this application and can report to the manager if there is a problem around the house. By using this application you can also register animals and vehicles. Guards can monitor guests entering and exiting the village area.. In designing the user interface using Flutter which functions in developing front-end mobile applications and React for websites. On the backend, the Mongo database has been used to connect to both web and mobile platforms.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat dilakukan dengan pembahasan bahwa strategi digital dapat dikembangkan di masyarakat desa, sehingga dapat memberikan manfaat bagi pedesaan. Hal ini didasarkan pada pekerjaan yang dilakukan sebagai bentuk dari tugas dan tanggung jawab dosen dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pembetukan Kelompok Desa Cerdas adalah tempat dimana masyarakat pedesaan diberdayakan dan mengambil inisiatif untuk mencari solusi terhadap tantangan yang mereka hadapi. Untuk melakukan pengembangan yang berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di desa dapat dilakukan dengan digitalisasi karena digitalisasi sebagai kekuatan untuk perubahan dengan penyesuaian yang sesuai kultur dan budaya yang ada di desa serta melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan yang ada. Desa cerdas sebagai tonggak untuk melaksanakan kebijakan dalam melaksanakan pengembangan desa perlu didukung dengan kebijakan pemerintah dan aparat desa, dengan desa cerdas dapat turut memperkenalkan kemajuan desa dan bisa dilakukan dengan beragam inovasi yang bermanfaat sebagai nilai tambah bagi seluruh masyarakat yang ada di desa. Cara yang paling tepat untuk mempersiapkan desa cerdas yaitu dengan membuat rencana strategis digital dengan memanfaat teknologi yang ada. Digitalisasi di bidang pertanian sangat tepat dilakukan dengan terlebih dahulu di berikan penyuluhan kepada kelompok tani yang ada di desa.

Abstract

This research stems from the implementation of Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) in Tenjolaya Village, Bandung Regency, involving students in intensive observation. KKN, as a student dedication activity, aims to have a positive impact on the community through coordination with government, education and UMKM, and local communities. This observation, as the main foundation of the KKN work program, opens up problem horizons in Tenjolaya Village. The issues include a lack of understanding among PKK mothers regarding Microsoft Excel, insufficient awareness of students regarding cyberbullying impacts, and a lack of students' confidence in career prospects. In the UMKM sector, dependence on the owner and one workforce is a constraint, coupled with the expansion of online marketing strategies. The research focus also includes increasing the capacity and involvement of Karang Taruna in RW 09 and RW 10. The research methodology adopts a qualitative approach with participatory observation during KKN. This study targets the improvement of understanding and skills among PKK mothers in using Microsoft Excel, educational administration efficiency, students' confidence in career prospects, students' understanding of productive department material, promotion of students' habits in foreign language learning, reducing UMKM dependence on the owner and one workforce, and increasing the capacity and involvement of Karang Taruna in RW 09 and RW 10. Thus, this research strives to provide sustainable solutions to enhance community skills and awareness. The achievement is directed toward efficiency to support holistic development in various sectors. The research results are expected to contribute positively to the welfare and development of the Tenjolaya community, bringing broader positive impacts at the local level. The final conclusion emphasizes the urgency of sustained and holistic efforts to achieve efficiency across all layers of society.

Abstract

This community service activity targets children with HIV/AIDS (ADHA). Children with HIV-AIDS (ADHA) present particular challenges related to issues such as adherence to a regimen of therapy that must be taken constantly. Issues such as stigma, discrimination, depression, drug abuse, and the prevention of further transmission can also be intimidating at this age. The basic thing that needs to be provided is socialization and counseling regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) which will be their behavior in the future. How they will behave healthily will affect their health. The research objective is to determine the effectiveness of providing counseling on clean and healthy living behaviors to children with HIV/AIDS at the Lentera Foundation of Surakarta City. This type of service activity is preceded by a pretest which aims to measure children's knowledge before being given counseling. Then counseling was given about related materials, after which a post test was carried out with the material that had been given which aimed to measure children's knowledge after being given counseling. The service conducted a pretest with the aim of seeing the level of understanding of counseling participants before counseling, the results of the pre test and post test were very different. The result of the post test is very good, namely 94.10, indicating that the material that has been delivered by the extension worker has been understood correctly, so that the results of the post test with the same questions are very good.

Abstract

The contribution of creative SMEs to GDP has not been optimal, only around 8,95% in 2021 and 8,98% in 2023. One of the contributing factors is that SMEs are able to produce goods that are creative, good and quality but do not know how to market it, so sales are relatively low. The marketing development program is important so that the production, sales and welfare of creative SMEs increase and their impact on the GDP and the Indonesian economy becomes more significant. Therefore, community service in the form of technical guidance (BIMTEK) was conducted to educate creative SMEs about the use of social media marketing as their marketing strategy. The number of internet and social media users in Indonesia is quite large so that marketing strategies with social media marketing have the potential to significantly increase marketing. Community service is limited to creative SME actors from three sub-sectors, namely fashion, crafts, and culinary in South Palembang. The aim of BIMTEK is to provide knowledge and awareness of the importance of marketing through social media, while also providing skills in how to market products through social media. The results of this community service received quite good evaluation results from the BIMTEK participants and from the observers (observers) consisting of BEKRAF (Creative Economy Agency) and the Heads of SME Communities in the South Palembang.

Abstract

This outreach and research initiative discusses the implementation of an interactive seminar on digital literacy at Politeknik LP3I Kampus Cirebon, focusing primarily on online fraud, hoaxes, and cyber attacks. The seminar was conducted using a hybrid approach, combining face-to-face sessions and online platforms via Google Meet to facilitate participation without geographical limitations. The seminar was divided into two main sessions: the first on online fraud, and the second session discussing hoaxes; their general understanding, characteristics, and tools for identifying and avoiding fake news. Each session was interactive, allowing participants to directly engage with speakers and practice using the tools provided. From the survey results distributed to participants, it was found that the satisfaction rating for the seminar's quality was 4.89 out of a maximum of 5. Additionally, 95% of participants reported an increase in understanding and confidence in digital literacy, particularly in dealing with online fraud, hoaxes, and other cyber threats. This demonstrates the effectiveness of an interactive approach and focusing on current issues like cybersecurity in enhancing awareness and readiness among campus employees.

Abstract

Biology is a science that studies everything about everyday life, such as living things, health, the environment, and biology can also be used to solve problems that occur in everyday life. One of the things that is discussed in biology is viruses. A virus is a living creature with parasitic properties, which means that the life of this living creature depends on other living creatures by infecting the cells of other living creatures. Studying biology at high school level is considered quite important because it is considered to be an opportunity for students to get to know themselves, the environment and the living creatures around them. Based on interviews conducted with Mr. Tisnawan as one of the biology subject teachers at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar, the results showed that there are challenges in studying the structure and shape of viruses which can influence students' interest in learning, such as the abstract shape of viruses, lack of variation in learning media, and limited equipment and practical space such as microscopes and others. Therefore, the service team plans to introduce teachers and students to the use of Augmented Reality in learning media where the topic used is the structure and shape of viruses in class X high school material. Assistance to teachers and students in using Augmented Reality applications needs to be provided so that teachers and students can use them well. Apart from that, this assistance is also expected to increase teachers' digital literacy in using technology in learning.
