Abstract

This Community Service aims to improve the motivation and knowledge of students after graduating from school. Participants in the Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) activity: Career Guidance Graduation are class XII students of MAN 3 Kebumen, Central Java. The methods used are lectures, discussions and questions and answers with students. The results of this community service activity are that it can help students prepare themselves for the future. By providing information about career choices that can improve work readiness, help plan further education, reduce unemployment, help form career identity, and overcome psychological and social barriers, career guidance can help students achieve success in their careers and live a satisfying life.

Abstract

Mastering digital technology, particularly the ability to use Microsoft Word software, is a highly important skill for students in this digital era (Hasibuan, 2024). Therefore, Microsoft Word training at SMA Islamiyah Weru Lor is considered essential to enhance students' proficiency in using this software. The training program is carried out in several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the preparation stage, training needs were identified and relevant materials were developed. The training was conducted in person with an approach that combines theory and practice, where students were taught how to use various Microsoft Word features, including mail merge. To evaluate the training results, questionnaires were distributed to students to assess the improvement in their skills after the training. The evaluation results showed that the average score obtained by students in the questionnaires was 3.77 out of 5, which falls into the "good" category.

Abstract

Educational game learning media has an important role in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process, especially for children. Currently, learning methods for children are quite effective, but some children are starting to feel bored with methods that only rely on reading and memorizing. To overcome this feeling of boredom, learning media in the form of educational games can be a good solution, considering that information and communication technology have developed rapidly and children are used to using gadgets and computers in everyday life. This construct-based educational game application can make the learning process more effective because it displays visualizations of the lessons being taught so that learning becomes more fun and has an attractive appearance. In the context of education in Indonesia, the use of educational game learning media also receives support from the government through the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. This curriculum emphasizes competency-based learning and integrating technology in the learning process. Thus, Construct-based educational games can be an effective means to support the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum as a whole. Educational game learning media has a strong background in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process, as well as making it more interesting and fun for children.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah pola interaksi sosial, terutama di kalangan anak-anak dan remaja. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan perangkat digital secara berlebihan untuk hiburan dapat mengurangi kehangatan interaksi fisik dan berdampak negatif pada perkembangan sosial dan emosional. Berdasarkan data, rata-rata anak usia sekolah menghabiskan 3-4 jam per hari menggunakan perangkat digital, tetapi hanya sekitar 20% dari waktu tersebut digunakan untuk aktivitas edukatif. Melihat fenomena ini, diperlukan langkah-langkah edukatif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kebersamaan dan empati pada anak-anak di era digital. Program bakti sosial yang disertai dengan edukasi literasi digital dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman praktis mengenai penggunaan teknologi secara bijak. Melalui kegiatan ini, peserta terlibat dalam interaksi sosial yang mendalam, seperti meronce dan membersihkan lingkungan secara bersama-sama, yang bertujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya hubungan interpersonal. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan respon positif dari para peserta, yang tidak hanya merasakan kebahagiaan dari interaksi langsung tetapi juga memperoleh kesadaran akan penggunaan teknologi yang produktif. Harapannya, kegiatan serupa dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dan mencakup komunitas yang lebih luas, termasuk di sekitar lingkungan kampus, guna memperkuat semangat kebersamaan dan kepedulian sosial di era digital.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country vulnerable to earthquakes due to its location along the Pacific Ring of Fire, including the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which is frequently affected by earthquakes with severe impacts. To reduce the risk of injuries and casualties from earthquakes, community preparedness and disaster mitigation education are urgently needed. This community service program was conducted through a community-based approach at the Bumi Damai Shelter Foundation in Yogyakarta, consisting of three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The activities included developing educational materials on earthquake-resistant buildings and disaster mitigation tailored for children from elementary to high school levels, using interactive methods such as lectures, videos, and earthquake simulations. The evaluation results indicate that the program successfully increased participants' understanding and preparedness for earthquakes, with high enthusiasm observed throughout the activities. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable model for disaster mitigation education, particularly to enhance public awareness of the importance of earthquake preparedness.

Abstract

Detergents are the most polluting household waste because contain sulfonic surfactants, which are unbiodegradable, so there is a need to innovate environmentally friendly cleaning products. Household waste has become a serious global problem. However, the environmental impact of household waste is in the form of detergent waste, where the use of detergent sometimes exceeds the dosage and causes much more foam. Lerak fruit is a natural ingredient used as a raw material for the detergent. This community service aims to educate people on making environmentally friendly detergent which was held at the Sumedang Logistics Vocational School. This PKM activity was carried out by outreach to 25 teacher and student representatives. The main objective of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and training on environmentally friendly Lerak detergent to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and skills of teachers and students of the Sumedang Logistics Vocational School. This activity is a real contribution to utilizing natural resources while maintaining environmental health. The detergent manufacturing process involves saponin extraction using a hot water extraction method, followed by formulation using additional ingredients such as organic fragrances.

Abstract

Implementing the risk-based business licensing system or OSS-risk-based approach (OSS-RBA) is an innovative step in government administration that will improve efficiency, transparency, and openness in the business licensing process in Indonesia. This licensing system is useful for facilitating business actors in issuing business licenses. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method that makes the Bantul Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) as the object. This study aims to determine the implementation of the OSS-RBA Policy, Factors that inhibit the implementation of OSS-RBA, and Efforts made to overcome Obstacles in implementing OSS-RBA by the Bantul Regency DPMPTSP. The findings that researchers found during the study were that OSS-RBA was very helpful for people who experienced obstacles with distance problems so that they could not come to the DPMPTSP to take care of permits and researchers also found people who were not fully aware of the existence of this OSS-RBA policy. Based on the research that has been conducted, the author concludes that the implementation of the OSS-RBA policy provides benefits to the community, especially those who are or live far from DPMPTSP, and is very helpful for people who cannot come to DPMPTSP. The author's suggestion to DPMPTSP Bantul Regency is to optimize widespread socialization, overcome internet network obstacles, and improve the quality of human resources to maximize services from the OSS-RBA policy.

Abstract

Business legality is an important aspect that shows legal recognition of a business entity, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In an effort to increase awareness and ease for business actors in obtaining legality, the Bantul Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) launched the GAMPIL (Direct Licensing Service Movement) innovation program. This program aims to direct the licensing process through the publication of a Business Identification Number (NIB) quickly and efficiently. NIB not only functions as a single identity for business actors according to the 2020 KBLI classification, but also replaces various other business permits, such as Company Registration Certificates (TDP) and Import Identification Numbers (API), and facilitates export access. The program implementation method uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving three main stages: research, action, and community participation. This program has been implemented in 18 villages with the support of the Special Fund, resulting in 713 NIBs being issued in a short time. Evaluation of the program showed success in various indicators, including high community participation (95%), efficiency of the NIB creation process (average 1 hour), and participant satisfaction level of 90%. In addition to administrative benefits, the GAMPIL program also has a positive impact on community economic empowerment, increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs, and creating a favorable investment climate in the Regency. The GAMPIL program has proven the effectiveness of integrated licensing services such as OSS in accelerating the business legality process and encouraging formal economic participation. With satisfactory results, this program is expected to continue, expand its reach, and become a model for other regions to create fast, easy, and sustainable licensing services to support local economic growth.

Abstract

At this time, people are more directed towards consumptive behavior in living their daily lives. The same is true for teenagers, the majority of whom follow a lifestyle in accordance with current trends. By following this trend, it is certain that adolescents will spend more money and not commensurate with existing income. Similarly, students at SMK Dwijendra Denpasar majoring in Accounting have problems where students are difficult to manage their personal finances. With our community service activities, it is hoped that it can help students in terms of a good financial management system and can improve skills and knowledge about how to manage personal finances so that later in the world of work it is expected to be able to manage company finances. The output of this research is that students are able to identify and prioritize the main priorities for allocating their personal funds. In addition, students can feel financial security in meeting sudden needs, because they have sufficient savings in the future.

Abstract

The Primary school students' numeracy skills are important competencies that include understanding, analysing and applying mathematical concepts in everyday life. This article discusses the implementation of innovative programmes such as jaritmatika, mathventures, clocktastic, and snakes and ladders numeracy in improving students' numeracy skills. The research used is a classroom action research (PTK). Through an interactive and contextualised approach, the programme successfully increased students' motivation and understanding of basic mathematical concepts. The evaluation showed a significant improvement in students' numeracy assessment results, supported by improved teaching quality and active student engagement. This research emphasises the importance of concept-based learning approaches and innovation to improve the quality of numeracy education in Indonesia.
