Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) How students' writing abilities were before using the outing class and hypnoteaching methods in class IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru. (2) How are students' writing abilities after using the outing class and hypnoteaching methods in class IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru. This research uses classroom action research (PTK) consisting of Cycle I and Cycle II. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and tests. The subjects of this research were students in class IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru with a total of 30 students (12 boys and 18 girls). Meanwhile, the object is to improve students' writing skills using outing class and hypnoteaching methods in Class IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru. Based on the results of the research carried out by the researcher, it can be concluded that: (1) Students' writing skills before using the outing class and hypnoteaching methods in class IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru were still low, namely that out of 30 students in that class only 3 people (10%) were categorized as good, 20 people (66.67%) were in the poor category and 7 people (23.33%) were in the very bad category. And students' writing abilities after using the outing class and hypnoteaching methods in class IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru increased every cycle. This can be seen in the first cycle, there has been an increase but not yet the maximum. Of the 30 students in the class, the scores obtained by only 2 students (6.67%) were in the very good category, 10 people (33.33%) were in the good category, 14 people were in the very good category. (46.67%) in the poor category and 4 people (13.33%) in the very bad category. And in cycle II, of the 30 students, 9 people (30%) were in the very good category, 17 people (56.67%) were in the good category, and 4 people (13.33%) were in the poor category. By applying the outing class and hypnoteaching methods, students have a wider range of objects to observe than in the classroom, and these two methods can encourage and stimulate the expression of students' ideas both orally and in writing. Based on these learning results, the outing class and hypnoteaching methods can improve the writing skills of class IV students at SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru. (2) The results of observations of students' writing abilities in the pre-cycle were 58.66% in the poor category. In the first cycle, it can be seen that the students' writing ability was 67.83% in the poor category. Meanwhile, the results of observation in cycle II of students' writing ability were 81.16% in the good category. The results of data analysis show that through the application of outing class and hypnoteaching methods, students' writing skills can be improved. The outing class and hypnoteaching methods require students to have a wider range of objects to observe than in the classroom, and these two methods can encourage and stimulate the expression of students' ideas both orally and in writing.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial factor in determining the effectiveness of the learning process in primary education. However, low student learning motivation remains a common issue in classroom practice. One strategy that teachers can employ to enhance students’ learning motivation is the provision of rewards as a form of positive reinforcement. This study aims to examine the effect of reward provision on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1104 Sipagabu. This research employed a quantitative approach with a simple correlational design. The participants consisted of all fifth-grade students, totaling 31 students. Data were collected using reward and learning motivation questionnaires and analyzed through simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination analysis. Based on the results of the t test, it was obtained that t count = 1.95 with a significance level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom df (n-2) = 31-2 = 29, so that t table = 1.699 was obtained. The calculation results obtained t count > t table, namely 1.95 > 1.699. From the test criteria above, H0 is rejected or Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the provision of rewards on the learning motivation of class V students of SD Negeri 1104 Sipagabu, Aek Nabara Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency. Then in the determination test the R square value is 0.7568 or 75.68%, meaning that giving rewards can contribute to increasing student learning motivation and the rest is explained by other variables of 24.32%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the effect of creativity in providing reinforcement to the learning motivation of class III students of MIN Sibuhuan. 2) How much influence does creativity provide reinforcement to the learning motivation of class III students of MIN Sibuhuan. This study is a quantitative study, the population in the study were all class III students of MIN Sibuhuan, while the sample in the study was taken from the entire population, with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and prerequisite tests. The results obtained were that the normality test showed that all data obtained by the researcher had normal data because lhitung <ltabel with a value of 0.999 <0.1772 on the variable providing reinforcement and on the variable learning motivation 0.0010 <0.1772. And the homogeneity test showed that the value of fhitung <ftabel with a value of 0.672 <4.23. providing reinforcement has a significant effect on the learning motivation of MIN Sibuhuan students. Based on the results of the t-test, it shows that the t-count value > t-table (3.624 > 1.705), and the significant value is 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the Ha hypothesis is accepted and H0 is rejected. then the determination test shows a value of 0.549 or 54.9%. meaning that the skill of providing reinforcement can contribute to increasing student learning motivation by 54.9% while 45.1% is explained by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of digital social studies learning integrated with local coffee potential through a Community-Based Learning (CBL) approach in junior high schools located in coffee-producing areas of Jember Regency. The study is grounded in the challenge of social studies learning that often remains theoretical and disconnected from students’ social realities. Positioned within the discourse of contextual and transformative education, this research examines how local community resources can be integrated with digital technology to enhance learning relevance. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving teachers, students, school principals, coffee farmers, and local entrepreneurs. The findings indicate that integrating local coffee potential into digital social studies learning increases student engagement, conceptual understanding of socio-economic processes, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial awareness. Students demonstrated higher motivation and creativity through project-based activities such as field observations, interviews, and digital content production. The study concludes that community-based digital social studies learning rooted in local potential offers an effective and replicable model for creating meaningful, contextual, and future-oriented education, particularly in rural and agrarian contexts.
