Abstract

The implementation of qasidah tambourine religious extracurricular activities is a kind of religious art, polite, relaxed and meaningful, and has many religious benefits that can be gleaned from the poetry and details of the prayer and the music. It can be said that extracurricular training can create added religious value for someone who takes part in the extracurricular activity, especially if the extracurricular is carried out by students who basically have to instill religious values in the construction process. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is the process of collecting data through natural means with the aim of interpreting and analyzing phenomena which are the main tools of researchers. Qasidah extracurricular activities at MI Miftahul Huda I Palangka Raya City take place every Saturday after class with the extracurricular supervising teacher. Students play tambourines combined with qasidah songs/poems. A meeting of students participating in the qasidah extracurricular at MI Miftahul Huda in the city of Palangka Raya, a senior teacher teaches various rhythms, both on the Rebana musical instrument and on qasidah poetry

Abstract

Validitas dan reliabilitas butir soal menentukan efektivitas hasil penilaian yang dilakukan. Kendati demikian, butir soal ujian akhir semester ganjil mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV MIN 4 Brebes tahun ajaran 2022-2023 diujikan tanpa adanya tahapan analisis butir – butir soal. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui dari output kualitas butir soal dan pelaksanaan tes pada soal ujian akhir semester tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif-deskriptif. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random, stratified, dan proporotional sampling. Analisis dengan menggunakan program ITEMAN 3.00. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukan data sebagai berikut; soal kurang baik soal kurang baik (3%), cukup baik (33%), dan baik (71%). Tingkat kesulitan butir soal yang diperoleh dengan hasil, terlalu sulit (28,6%), sedang (60,1%), dan terlalu mudah (21%). Kefektivan distractor pada soal adalah efektif (100%), tidak efektidf (0%). Realibitas dalam butir soal secara global mencapai 0,386 yang artinya soal – soal tersebut memiliki konsistensi yang tinggi.

Abstract

The Bener Meriah District Police (Polres) reported that on February 15, 2023, 14 teenagers, consisting of 4 females and 10 males aged between 14, 15, 16, and 17 years old, were arrested for involvement in online prostitution. On May 21, 2022, two teenage girls, aged 16 and 17, were raped by 8 young men, one of whom was still underage. This demonstrates how crucial it is to pay attention to children's character development. There is a common thread between the parenting practices of the Gayo community in the past and present, but there are also differences in patterns, particularly in shaping children's character. This qualitative research employs a suitable concept of naturalistic approach, where the researcher seeks to understand and experience the parenting patterns of the Gayo community in shaping children's character using the phenomenological method based on etnopedagogy. The parenting style of the Gayo community's parents appears to be authoritative and influenced by gender bias due to the patrilineal kinship system. Keywords Parenting Style; Character Education; Etnopedagogy; Gayo’s Culture   Abstrak Catatan kepolisian resor (Polres) Bener Meriah menyebutkan pada tanggal 15 Februari 2023 ditangkap 14 remaja terdiri 4 perempuan dan 10 laki-laki yang berumur kisaran 14,15,16 dan 17 tahun terlibat prostitusi online. Pada tanggal 21 Mei 2022 terjadi pemerkosaan terhadap 2 remaja putri berumur 16 dan 17 tahun oleh 8 pemuda dan 1 masih di bawah umur. Hal ini menunjukkan betapa karakter anak menjadi hal yang krusial untuk diperhatikan. Ada benang merah dengan praktik pengasuhan masyarakat gayo masa dahulu dan masa kini terdapat persamaan dan juga perbedaan pola, terutama dalam membentuk karakter anak. Pendekatan penelitian ini kualitatif dengan konsep yang sesuai adalah naturalistic, yaitu peneliti memahami dan menghayati pola asuh orang tua masyarakat Gayo  dalam membentuk karakter anak dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologi berbasis etnopedagogi. Pola asuh orang tua Masyarakat Gayo terkesan Otoriter dan bias gender karena mengacu kepada sistem kekerabatan patrilineal Kata kunci Pola Asuh; Pendidikan Karakter; Etnopedagogik; Budaya gayo.

Abstract

There are efforts to renew and improve the quality of government education to ensure that it implements a new curriculum, namely the independent curriculum as a complement to the previous curriculum. Decree (SK) of the Directorate General of Islamic Education Number 3811 of 2022 concerning Madrasas Implementing an Independent Curriculum for the 2022/2023 Academic Year outlines the requirements for madrasas that use an independent curriculum. Some madrasas have registered their madrasas as schools for implementing the independent curriculum, but there are still many madrasas that have not registered their madrasas as implementing madrasas for the independent curriculum. This study aims to discuss the readiness of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Khadijah Banjarmasin in implementing the Independent Curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were the teacher council, the head of the madrasah, and the deputy head of the madrasah curriculum division at MI Khadijah Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that graduate competency standards, content standards, process standards, educational assessment standards, educational staff standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, and financing standards at MI Khadijah Banjarmasin were not ready for the implementation of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a combined conceptual framework of interrelated knowledge of content, pedagogy, and technology that aims to make learning more effective and efficient. To improve learning activities, teachers must have knowledge so that teachers can integrate technology into learning as well as possible, including prospective teachers. PGMI is one of the majors that produces prospective teachers in basic education, so mastery of TPACK is important for PGMI students as prospective teachers before they become educators. The purpose of this study was to determine the TPACK mastery of PGMI UIN Antasari students and to determine the level of TPACK mastery of PGMI UIN Antasari students. The number of respondents in this study was 10 people. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach using survey methods. The sampling technique uses the slovin formula. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the TPACK mastery of PGMI UIN Antasari students was Medium and Low. Mastery of TPACK in the medium category, namely Technological Knowledge and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge. And the mastery of TPACK is in the low category, namely Pedagogical Knowledge, Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge and Technological Content Knowledge. The level of mastery of TPACK in the medium category is TK (3.40) and TPK (3.21) in the low category PK (2.93), CK (2.80), PCK (2.97), TCK (2.86).

Abstract

Teachers have abilities that play an important role in carrying out their duties, and their level of competence often determines the success of education. In an effort to meet competency standards, teachers are expected to have the knowledge and skills appropriate to their field. However, there are still gaps in this regard, especially in aspects such as pedagogic, professional, personal and social competencies. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the competencies of PAUD teachers who are not S1 PAUD education graduates in two institutions in Banjarmasin City, as well as identify factors that influence their competencies. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that some teachers still face difficulties in preparing lesson plans independently, which has an impact on the monotony of the learning process. In addition, there are teachers who have not fully fulfilled aspects of social competence.

Abstract

This research began with concerns about the degradation of the local Malind tribe community in South Papua amidst the frenzy of development. The low level of historical awareness of the Malind generation has led to their marginalization amidst development. Therefore, creativity is needed in learning to raise awareness of the history of the Malind tribe generation. This research is a literature study research. Data was obtained from literature sources, books, journals, documents and other literature sources. Processing research data using the Miles and Huberman technique. From the analysis of the data obtained, it was found that the Malind tribal community has a rich tradition of maintaining balance between humans and the environment. In meeting their food needs, the Malind tribe utilizes nature in a balanced manner. The Malind tribe's food sources include sago, bananas, wild boar, deer, fish, stocks, cassowaries and other animals obtained through hunting. The Malind tribe's food is processed by burning and boiling without using food flavorings. The local food traditions of the Malind tribe can be used as material to foster historical awareness through integration in learning. Teacher creativity is needed in utilizing the traditions and environment of the Malind tribe in designing learning.The conclusion of this research is that the Malind tribe's tradition of obtaining food is a tradition that must be taught to students in developing their historical awareness. Teachers must integrate history learning so that historical facts are close to the current context experienced by students.

Abstract

Early Quranic education is essential, and therefore, an appropriate method is needed to teach it. One of the methods used is the Ummi Method. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects are the ustadz, ustadzah, and students at Rumah Qur'an Baiturrahmah Unit 0003 Teluk Tiram. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Ummi Method covers three main aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning includes teacher and prospective teacher training, Ummi certification, and internship programs for prospective teachers. The implementation consists of seven stages: opening, apperception, concept introduction, concept understanding, skills development, evaluation, and closing. Additionally, other Islamic educational teachings, such as daily prayers, fiqh materials, short hadiths, and Asma Ul-Husna, are introduced to children. The evaluation is divided into three categories: daily evaluation, book level progression evaluation, and end-of-semester evaluation. The result achieved is an improvement in the ability of early childhood students to read the Quran. Factors supporting the planning of the Ummi Method in Quranic education include teacher and prospective teacher training, Ummi certification, established learning procedures, and clear time management. Factors supporting the implementation of the Ummi Method include an easily followed rhythm for the children. In terms of evaluation, the support factor is the clear progress report. The only obstacle found is in the implementation phase, which is the lack of adequate space, as one group must study in the terrace.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) strategy on students' High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in mathematics learning in fifth-grade students at MI Nahdatussibyan, Barito Kuala. The study is motivated by the low-level thinking skills of students, reflected in their difficulty solving mathematics problems that require analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. To address this, CTL was implemented to connect mathematics learning with real-life contexts. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 30 fifth-grade students at MI Nahdatussibyan. Data were collected through HOTS tests administered before and after the CTL intervention. The data were analyzed using a t-test to determine the significance of the difference between pretest and posttest scores. The results showed a significant increase in students' HOTS. The average HOTS score increased from 65 on the pretest to 85 on the posttest. Improvements were observed in the three main HOTS aspects: analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. These findings demonstrate that the CTL strategy effectively enhances students' active engagement in learning and improves their higher-order thinking skills

Abstract

The selection of appropriate learning models significantly influences student learning outcomes, especially in thematic learning. This research focuses on the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve learning outcomes for third-grade students at MIN 4 Tabalong. The background of this research is based on the observation that conventional teacher-centered learning models during the pandemic led to lower student engagement and academic performance. A quantitative approach was employed, using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 24 students. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, analyzing the effect of the PjBL model on student outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes after the application of the PjBL model. The pretest results indicated that 45.83% of students were classified as “very good,” and the posttest results showed 100% of students in this category. The Wilcoxon test further confirmed that the PjBL model had a significant positive impact on students’ learning outcomes (p = 0.000 < 0.05).
