Abstract

This research is based on two growth theories, namely the Neoclassical which says that one of the factors of economic growth is influenced by the amount of spending that interacts with each other in an area and the Harrod-Domar theory/Keynes development theory which says that the most important factor of economic growth is capital formation (investment). Knowing the value of a region's economic growth can be seen from the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP/PDRB ) data. The constituent elements include Household Consumption Expenditure (HCE/PKRT) and Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF/PMTB) which represent investment value. In this case, the researcher intends to test whether the influence of the independent variables consisting of PKRT and PMTB has an effect on the dependent variable, namely economic growth (GRDP/PDRB ) of East Java Province. The approach used is quantitative with the type of associative research and analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. Using secondary data, namely GRDP/PDRB at constant prices, East Java province for the period 2012 to 2021. The results of the analysis show that both simultaneously and partially, the two variables (PKRT and PMTB) have a significant and positive effect on Economic Growth (GRDP/GRDP ) of East Java Province with an influence level of 99.2%. That is, this study supports the two theories mentioned above.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the internalisation of religious moderation in Islamic education. This phenomenon will give birth to radical movements wrapped in religious values. Educators should instil moderate values in students. Seeing this, it is very necessary to practice moderation, especially in the life of the school environment in Indonesia and throughout the world by reorganising Islamic education with rahmatal lil'alamin and wasathiyyah values. The research method used is a literature study. This research concludes that intolerance and radicalism are urgent matters to be considered and internalised for students and elements of society that can later be implemented in everyday life. Religious moderation must be embedded in each individual through attitude, character, and behaviour. Addressing the urgency of religious moderation can be done through, (1) character education, providing education to educators and students about the importance of respecting differences among educators and students or ikhtilaf. Providing this education has the following learning objectives: First, students understand the urgency of religious moderation in Islamic Education. (2) A cautious attitude in understanding Islam in a kaffah manner supported by the correct methodology. (3) Strengthening the attitude of active tolerance in students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze religious practices within the concept of Islamic Traditionalism, focusing on the kupatan tradition in Juwet Village. Islamic Traditionalism as a theoretical foundation highlights the preservation of traditional values and spiritual heritage in the context of Islam that is rooted in everyday life. This research uses qualitative research methods, data obtained through interviews with local people and document analysis related to the focus of research, namely the kupatan tradition and Islamic traditionalism. The results showed that the kupatan tradition in Juwet Village reflects the concept of Islamic Traditionalism in several aspects. First, the tradition of acknowledging one year's mistakes in kupatan is a concrete manifestation of moral and ethical values in Islam. Second, the value of togetherness is reflected in the tradition of exchanging kupat. This practice creates social ties and solidarity among Juwet villagers, in accordance with the principle of togetherness advocated by Islam. Third, the symbol of forgiveness through the use of kupat and lepet at the door of the house creates an atmosphere of peace and tolerance. Kupat at the door of the house is interpreted as a sign of readiness to apologize and receive guests sincerely. This reflects the values of forgiveness and tolerance in Islam that are applied in real life. The importance of tradition in maintaining local cultural values in Juwet Village is in accordance with the concept of Islamic Traditionalism. The implications of the findings of this study can broaden insights into the complexity of the relationship between religious values and local culture and contribute to the preservation of spiritual and cultural heritage in traditional Islamic societies.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observation data which shows that the ideal education is because it is able to touch all aspects and potential of students, but unfortunately education currently tends to be oriented towards the cognitive and matearilistic dimensions. The average orientation of education today is only used as a graduate or even to get a job. Therefore, this research seeks to discuss the method of teaching Islamic law at the Salafiyah Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School. This can be seen from the teaching pattern of the YellowIslamic classic Book, especially the Book of Fiqh (Islamic Law) which is essentially a scientific thought or explanation of Islamic scientists or scholars on cases of sharia (Al-Quran and Al-Hadith). With the doctrine of the closure of ijtihad, the teaching model applied in traditional Islamic boarding schools is only a transfer of meaning (getting meaning from Arabic books) and explaining the content without any dialog or discussion. This article also examines how the doctrine of the closed door of ijtihad affects the teaching pattern of Islamic law at the Salafiyah Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School. With the positive progress of technology and information as well as the many modern teaching models, there is a promising hope for Salafiyah Islamic Boarding Schools to improve their teaching patterns and develop into more modern without having to break down and leave their characteristics.
