Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and behavioral bias on investment decision making on gen-z in the city of Banda Aceh. Data collection in this study was obtained through a google form questionnaire as a data collection instrument for 190 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling with the type used purposive sampling. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on investment decision making on gen-z in the city of Banda Aceh and behavioral biases (Overconfidence Bias, Herding Bias, Representative Bias, and Availability Bias) have a significant effect on investment decision making on gen-z in the city of Banda Aceh.Keywords: Investment Decision Making; Emotional Intelligence; Overconfidence Bias; Herding Bias; Representative Bias; and Availability Bias

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Self-Esteem and Career Competencies on Career Adaptability which is moderated by Career Shock at the employee of Bank Syariah Indonesia, Banda Aceh. This research is quantitative research. Data collection for the study was done by using a questionnaire. The population in this study were all employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Banda Aceh City who came from conventional banks with a total of 111 people. The method used in this research is simple random sampling. The data analysis method used is Statistical Product For Social Science (SPSS) which is used as an analysis method to determine the influence between the variables studied. Based on the research results, it was found that Self-Esteem and Career Competencies have a significant direct effect on Career Adaptability. The finding of the study also shows that Career Shock has a significant effect on Career Adaptability. Then, it was also found that Career Shock moderated the influence of Self-Esteem on Career Adaptability. Besides, Career Shock moderated the influence of Career Competencies on Career Adaptability.Keywords: Self Esteem; Career Competencies; Career Adaptability; Career Shock

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the Local Own-Resource Revenue in Aceh Province during the fiscal years 2017-2021. The population includes the Financial Reports of Local Governments in the Aceh Province from 2017 to 2021. The data utilized is secondary data extracted from the Financial Reports of Local Governments in the Aceh Province for the period 2017-2021. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach for data analysis. The results reveal that the financial autonomy of all local goverment the Aceh Province in meeting the financing needs for governmental tasks, services, and development is consistently low each year. The central government continues to have a more dominant role in fulfilling the financing requirements for governmental tasks, services, and development compared to the role of Local goverment in the Aceh Province. The findings of this research are anticipated to offer insights and considerations for local governments in formulating policies for managing the Aceh Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBA).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan fungsi linear dalam analisis penjualan di UMKM Teh Tong Tji selama periode Januari hingga April. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses produksi, memprediksi permintaan pasar, dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional UMKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis data penjualan menggunakan statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjualan UMKM Teh Tong Tji mengalami fluktuasi, dengan penjualan tertinggi pada bulan Januari dan terendah pada bulan Februari. Penerapan fungsi linear membantu dalam memahami hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi penjualan, seperti harga dan jumlah barang yang dijual. Dengan menggunakan fungsi linear, UMKM dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan yang lebih baik, meminimalkan biaya produksi, dan memaksimalkan keuntungan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelolaan keuangan UMKM Teh Tong Tji, terutama dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha di pasar yang kompetitif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan prinsip-prinsip matematika dalam bisnis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing UMKM

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of hedonic motivation, social factors and risk on direct electronic money payments for Shopee e-commerce users. The sample used in this research was Shopee e-commerce users in Banda Aceh City, totaling 200 respondents. The data collection equipment used in this research is a questionnaire. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with the type used being purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used as an analysis method to determine the influence of the variables involved. Based on the results of SEM analysis, it shows that hedonic motivation influences payment habits, social factors influence payment habits, risk influences payment habits, payment habits influence behavioral intentions towards electronic money, hedonic motivation influences behavioral intentions towards electronic money, social factors influence behavioral intentions towards electronic money, risk has no effect on behavioral intentions towards electronic money, payment habits partially mediate the influence of hedonic motivation on behavioral intentions towards electronic money, payment habits partially mediate the influence of social factors on behavioral intentions towards electronic money, payment habits partially mediate partial influence of risk on behavioral intentions towards electronic money.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of Self-Expressive Brand, Brand Attachment, and Brand Trust on Brand Advocacy mediated by Brand Love on Buttonscarves product users in Banda Aceh City. The sample used in this research consisted of 130 respondents who are Buttonscarves customers in Banda Aceh City. Data collection in this research was distributing of questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used as the analysis method to determine the influence among the variables involved. Based on the results of the statistical description, it was identified that the Self-Expressive Brand, Brand Attachment, Brand Trust, Brand Advocacy and Brand Love of Buttonscarves users in Banda Aceh City were already good. Based on the results of SEM analysis, Brand Love has effect on Brand Advocacy, Self-Expressive Brand effect on Brand Advocacy, Brand Attachment has effect on Brand Advocacy, Brand Trust has effect on Brand Advocacy, Self-Expressive Brand has effect on Brand Love, Brand Attachment has effect on Brand Love, Brand Trust has effect on Brand Love. Furthermore, based on the results of the Sobel test, it was found that Brand Love partially mediates the influence of Self-Expressive Brand, Brand Attachment, and Brand Trust on Brand Advocacy.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of Self Service Technology (SST) on Customer Loyalty mediated by Customer Satisfaction in Kopi Kenangan customers in Banda Aceh City. The sample used in this research was Kopi Kenangan customers who had made purchases through the Kopi Kenangan application at least twice and were located in Banda Aceh City. The respondents in this research were 160 respondents. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. Data analysis uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the analysis method using Confirmator Factor Analysis (CFA) using the AMOS program tools.The research results show that Self Service Technology (SST), Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty at the Kopi Kenangan outlet in Banda Aceh City are good. Self Service Technology (SST) influences Customer Loyalty, Self Service Technology (SST) influences Customer Satisfaction, Customer Satisfaction influences Customer Loyalty, and Customer Satisfaction partially mediate the influences of Self Service Technology (SST) on Customer Loyalty.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the Reward System and Job Condition on Employee Retention with Employee Engagement as a mediating variable in the Nursing Staff of Aceh Tamiang Regional Hospital. The sample used in this research was 133 respondents using a sampling method using the census method, and the sample used in this research was Civil Servant Nursing Staff at Aceh Tamiang Regional Hospital. The data analysis method in this research uses Statistical Program and Social Science (SPSS) to determine the influence between the variables involved. Based on the research results, it was found that the Rewards System and Job Condition have a significant effect on Employee Retention. Reward Systems and Job Condition have a significant effect on Employee Engagement. Employee Engagement has a significant effect on Employee Retention. Employee engagement mediates the effect of the Rewards System on Employee Retention. Employee engagement mediates the effect of Job Condition on Employee Retention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the budget adjustments made by the District Work Unit (SKPK) in Nagan Raya during the COVID-19 pandemic by taking a case study of the Nagan Raya Regency Social Service in 2020. This study uses primary and secondary data. Primary data sources were obtained from documentation and interviews, and secondary data consisted of direct and indirect expenditure data, as well as budget realization reports. The results of the study show that the Social Service has adjusted its budget due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, in the implementation of the budget after the adjustment process, it was found that about 25 percent of the budget was not realized due to the limited time available for the Social Service to execute the budget, which significantly impacted the Social Service's ability to achieve its vision and mission and to provide maximum service to the community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of overinvestment on firm performance with dividend policy and debt policy as moderating variables in trading, service and investment companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. This testing was carried out for five years, namely the 2017-2021 period. The sample selection technique uses a purposive sampling method. This research uses quantitative methods. The type of data used in this research is secondary data, namely quantitative data which includes investment, debt, dividend and firm performance data which is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) in trading, service and investment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data collection technique used is panel data. Research analysis uses Moderated Regression Analysis. Overinvestment is calculated using the residual of the new investment equation. The results of this research show that overinvestment has a negative and significant influence on firm performance. Moderation of dividends and debt can change the direction of the negative influence that overinvestment has on firm performance so as to reduce agency conflicts that occur in the company.
