Abstract

Jalalludin Muhammad Akbar is the third king of the Mughal Empire. The Mughal empireis an Islamic-style kingdom that flourished in the western Indian region in the 16thcentury. Mughal in Akbar experienced a golden era that runs a policy strategy such as thepolitical, economic, religious and cultural fields. This study aims to (1) examine thebackground of Jalalluddin Muhammad Akbar's government in India in 1556-1605 AD, (2)to examine the role of Jalalludin Muhammad Akbar in applying Mughal governmentpolicy in India, (3) to examine the results achieved Mughal Work in India on the reign ofJalalludin Muhammad Akbar in India. This research uses historical research methods,with four phases of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The policy ofSultan Akbar's rule was seen as the forerunner of the Mughal forces by the unity of theHindustan society under the Mughal alliance. In the political field Sultan Akbar optimizedthe political system of sulh-e-kul with a base of military power. The economy implementsa trading system with a fair tax system in accordance with income. Multiculturalism in theHindustan lands alters Akbar's thoughts on the field of Mughal religion and art, theapplication of Divine Providence is used inter-religious intolerance in India while in thearts there is a cultural acculturation to cultivate Mughal characteristics. The adoption ofAkbar's policies in 1556-1605 AD led to social change in society to balance the systemrunning in India. These changes led to progress and good relations between Mughal andthe people of Hindustan.

Abstract

Implementation of learning in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is expected in the learning process using technology. The purpose of this research is to produce a validated product in the form of Schoology Learning media based on Discovery Learning and to improve the ability of Historical Analysis. The development research procedure is carried out using the ASSURE model development. The results of the subject matter content experts reached 80% with "good" qualifications, the learning design expert validation reached 89% with "very good" qualifications and 90% of language validation with very "good" qualifications. Historical Analysis is measured using 4 indicators with small and large group test. In small group trials an increase in students Historical Analysis ability was 77.117% with "high" qualifications and in large group trials an increase in Historical Analysis was 78.73% with "high" qualifications. The benefit of this research is related to Schoology based Dsicovery Learning, Historical Analysis.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is based on 21st century competence and character education. Independence is one of the main values in the character education of the Indonesian nation and the 21st skills are the vision of education to face technological advances and develop the various intelligences of students to achieve optimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in independence and learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Problem Based Learning model and students who were taught using the information technology-based Self-Directed Learning model. The results showed that there were significant differences in the independence and learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Problem Based Learning model and students who were taught using the information technology-based Self Directed Learning model in history subjects. The difference in the mean value of independence obtained is -4,265 and the mean value of learning outcomes obtained is -4,706 negative values indicate that the experimental class 2 which was taught using the information technology-based Self-Directed Learning model was better than the experimental class 1 which was taught with the PBL model (Problem Based Learning).

Abstract

This study discusses the dynamics of Teater Koma since its establishment, namely 1977 to 2008. The problems in this study are (1) How is the history of Teater Koma? (2) What were the dynamics of Teater Koma in 1977-2008 ?, and (3) How did Teater Koma influence the performing arts in Indonesia? The theory used is the performance function theory with a cultural sociology approach, and the method used was a historical method. Teater Koma is a theater group that was founded in Jakarta on March 1, 1977. Teater Koma was not originally born from an existing stage. The initial concept of its establishment, Teater Koma was not based on one particular color, but rather prioritized the search for the form and content of the theater which was more colorful. Teater Koma was initiated and founded by Nano Riantiarno together with 11 friends in Jakarta on March 1, 1977. From 1977 to 2008, Teater Koma has produced 112 performances, both performances and television dramas. Since its first performance, Teater Koma has experienced significant developments. Teater Koma has also experienced bans, ranging from suspicion, banning of performances, to the threat of bombs by the New Order government. The ban that was imposed did not make Teater Koma stop its creative process. Teater Koma as a theater group whose productivity is very diverse, has a very strong organizational management and human resources. Teater Koma considers itself to be born from society and repackaged for society. Entering the era of the 1980s, Teater Koma has developed by adding a new color to the development of performing arts in Indonesia, namely using mass media in different ways. This effort turned out to be accepted by the public and increasingly attracted by the audience.

Abstract

There was expansion of Sumbergondo Village in 1949 due to a large population growth and a fairly large area covering the villages of Sumbergondo, Bumiharjo, Kaligondo, Tulungrejo now. With the expansion of the Village, Sumbergondo Village formed a unique cultural pattern and was harmoniously related between communities who had different beliefs, although separated in terms of territory and different in terms of belief, the people of Sumbergondo Village still uphold their ancestral beliefs from generation to generation to respect differences. and side by side are the characteristics of the Javanese tribe in general. Until now, the community still maintains the values ​​and norms contained therein, there are three religions whose people maintain each other and have high tolerance, namely Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism. The results of the study show the formation of diversity in Sumbergondo Village. can not be separated from the early entry of existing religions, among others, Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. interaction and mutual need for one another does not differentiate between one adherent and another. The suggestions in this research are expected to provide additional knowledge about the history of religious diversity and tolerance in Indonesia. Keyword: Diversity, Religion, Culture

Abstract

Sukarno's thinking about unity began in 1926. At that time Indonesia was colonized and there was no great power to against the colonialist. The circumstances have made Sukarno having ideas to unite the three ideologies of Nationalism, Islamism and Marxism. Soekarno argues that the unity of the three idheologies can bring the people of Indonesia to be united towards the independence. Sukarno wanted to unite the people of Indonesia by forming a party pioneer that is PNI Staatspartij. The problems in this research are: (1) how the background of environmental conditions that influence Soekarno's thinking about unity to form the PNI as Staatspartij; (2) how the Soekarno's concept of thoughts about unity to form the PNI as staatspartij; (3) how Soekarno's struggle to create his thoughts on Indonesian unity through PNI staatspartij. Theories and approaches which are used in this research are The Hermeneutic Theory and the sociology of knowledge and anthropology approach . The research method is used historical research method. The conclusion of this research is that Soekarno have ideas to unite the people of Indonesia by forming PNI Staatspartij as a party that contains all of the elements of society. The Soekarno's concept of thoughts about unity with the form of PNI Staatspartij are Pancasila, Democratic Centralism and Nationalist, Religion and Communist (NASAKOM).

Abstract

Developing of teaching materials that innovative, interesting, effective and it’s developed by advances technology into an obligation in order to be able to facilitate a good teaching. Therefore the educaters have the obligation to develop the teaching materials by herself or his self and must give a good teaching and effectively. The purpose of this research is to produce the product as LKPD effectively for Indonesian History subject to the elevent grade by using ASSURE model that is validated. This research subject is 32 social students of elevent grade in SMAN 5 Jember. This research is done in January 2018. It result shows that the product of validation teaching materials can measure the effectiveness level. In classic the validation result of the subject contain is amount 80 percents, the desaint validation is amount 88,4 percents, the media validation is amount 86 percents and the language validation is amount 94 percents. The effectiveness level of trial result in small group is amount 71,12 percents, while in large group is amount 86,75 percents. The conclution of this research is developing product in digital student worksheet use ASSURE model that validates by the experts and it can develop the Indonesian history teaching effectiveness. Abstract

The background of this research is after the Indonesian nation became independent until the change of form of the Indonesian state which was originally since KMB (Konferensi Meja Bundar) is a federal state back into the form of unitary state (1945-1950). Indonesia's chaotic condition in the social, political and economic fields prompted Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX to apply the rescue action of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to (1) examine the background of Hamengku Buwono IX in maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia; (2) to examine in depth the actions or strategies of Hamengku Buwono IX in maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945-1950. This study uses historical research methods with heuristic steps, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX retained the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, preventing the Dutch crime in Jakarta, which moved the capital in Yogyakarta. When the capital of Yogyakarta in the attack of Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX, became a savior and dared to arrange a counterattack. Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX accelerated the process of recognition of Indonesian independence. However, a new problem arose in the form of Westerling insurrection and Sultan Hamid II. Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX managed to prevent and make people not believe in the federalists. This is what makes the return of the state form into a unitary state. Abstract

Muhammadiyah is an organization that makes their movement on socio-religious reform. Muhammadiyah is supported by society as a non-political organization that concerns about charity and education. Muhammadiyah always conducts reform in every aspects especially in education. The problem in this research is how was the education system in Indonesia right before Muhammadiyah was founded, how were the effort and action that Muhammadiyah did at that time on the reform of education and it’s effects. The purpose of this research is to describe about the role of Muhammadiyah in the reform of the education in 1912-1923. The research method used in this research is historical research method with educational sociology approach and open system organizational theory. The benefit of this research is to be expected to add the knowledge and information about Muhammadiyah and as a source of learning about that organization. The other benefit is this research can be used as a source for the other similar researches on the future. The first conclusion of this research is education system in Indonesia right before Muhammadiyah was founded, educational secularism, and Islamic educational traditionalism. The second conclusion is the attempt and action that Muhammadiyah did at that time on the reform of education was the implementation of principal of education, the combination of western and traditional education in the education that was conducted Muhammadiyah. The last conclusion is the effect of reform in education conducted by Muhammadiyah on the society namely integralistics and contextual teaching and learning model and arose of the modern figures like KH.
