Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine and analyze the effect of the inquiry method on student learning outcomes in grade IV mathematics at Indrapuri Public Elementary School, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The research was d0ne on 64 students as research objects which were divided into an experimental class and a control class. The research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a data collection tool in the form of an objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results of the study concluded that the application of the inquiry method had an effect on student learning outcomes in math class IV at Indrapuri State Elementary School (SDN), Tapung District, Kampar Regency. Thus it can be suggested that the inquiry method can be applied as an alternative learning method in elementary schools.

Abstract

The background of this research is the curiosity of researchers about the Supporting Factors and Inhibiting Factors of Whatsapp-Based Online Learning in Theme 2 Class III SDN 009 Sungai Pagar, Kampar Kiri Hilir District, Kampar Regency, and how to provide solutions to the obstacles that arise in online learning. Online learning can be defined as an effort to connect students with learning resources that are physically separate or even far apart but can communicate, interact or collaborate directly and indirectly with each other. This research is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach to field research. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling and snowball sampling while the data collection tools used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained in the form of whatsapp-based online learning support factors are; The internet/whatsapp can load and send various learning materials such as explanatory videos, picture messages, and voice messages, can communicate and give learning instructions at any time, students can follow learning from anywhere without having to go to school. The inhibiting factors for whatsapp-based online learning are; quota or data package that runs out quickly, signal is not good, also doesn't have an android cellphone. Based on the conclusions above, the researcher submits some suggestions as follows: For class III teachers at SDN 009 Sungai Pagar to reduce the assignments given to students so that assignments do not pile up or continue to give assignments but in small quantities, while students who do not or do not understand the teacher can make visits to students' homes either individually or in groups, For parents of students to be involved in supervising students during online learning because this plays an important role in the success of online learning, For schools to prepare teams of teachers who are on standby at school to help students who have difficulty in learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine where the location of difficulty and factors that cause difficulties in learning mathematics on the subject of integer count operation. Research subjects are taken that is class V which has the average value of mathematics still under Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). Data collection methods used were test method, observation method, interview method. The test method is used to obtain student completion data on the counting integer counting material in the form of essay 10 items. Observation method is used to determine the condition of subjects during the learning activities of mathematics and to know the factors that can affect the learning process of mathematics. And interview method is done to know clearly problem faced by student when study material counting integer. From the data of final analysis result, the percentage of students difficulties in skill 50% including enough category, difficulties in understanding the concept of 23.3% including less category and difficulty in problem solving by 20% including less category. So expect teachers in shaping the pattern of teaching mathematics is not solely shown in the students' skills in solving the problem. But more important is how to invite students to understand and understand and master the existing concepts well and correctly, so that students do not have difficulty in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This researd is based on the results of student on science subject grade IV SDN 004 Bangkinang City. One of the solution to solve this problem is to apply Problem Based Instruction model. The purpose of this researd is to describe the Improving of Science learning subject on topic environment changes by applying Problem Based Instruction Model at 4 grade students of SDN 004 Bangkinang city. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented in two cycles and each cycle held two meetings. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four phases, are planning, implementating, observating, reflecting, and schedule of this research begun from April until May 2017. The subjects thery are of this researd is student grade 4 of SDN 004 Bangkinang city. which 16 students, the are 10 male students, and 6 female students. of colection the techniques of used in this researd are observation, documentation, and test. Based on the results of learning is can be concluded that the first cycle is still quite average with an average of 74, then from 16 students only 12 students or 75% who achieve mastery individually. The result of Student learning in cycle II is good with an average of 86.60, and 14 students complete or 87.5% who achieve mastery individually. Thus it can be concluded that with the applications of Problem Based Instruction Model can improve the results of learning environmental changes at 4 grade students SDN 004 Bangkinang City

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning result of science at the four year students of state elementary school 020 Pangkalan Baru District of Siak Hulu Regency of Kampar. One of solution to overcome this problem by implementation of exchange partners models. The objective of study to know increase learning result of science material part of the plant by implementation of exchange partners models at the four year students of state elementary school school 020 Pangkalan Baru District of Siak Hulu Regency of Kampar. This research is a kind of Classroom Action Research (CAR) executed in two cycles. Every cycles consisted of bay one meeting and four phase, thas is planning, action, observation, and reflection. Research time executed to August s/d September 2017. For the subjects in this study is the fourth grade students of 020 Pangkalan Baru District of Siak Hulu Regency of Kampar 2017-2018 school year the number of students of 20 people, consisting of 9 men and 11 women. Data collection techniques used in this study is the observation, testing, and documentation. Having conducted research note an increase in student learning outcomes of prior actions, the first cycle and second cycle. In the pre-action mastery students only reached 45,83% or 11 students who completed, the students who pass the first cycle increased to 14 people or completeness only reached 70,00%. In the second cycle turns completeness students at 19 students or the percentage of 95,00%. Thereby that is the implementation of exchange partners models to increase learning result of science material part of the plant at the four year students of state elementary school 020 Pangkalan Baru District of Siak Hulu Regency of Kampar.

Abstract

The aim of this researchis to describe the application of picture and picture model to improvethe learning outcomes of the knowing currency history at class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the application of picture and picture model to improve learning outcomes on the material of knowing currency history at class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district. This research was conducted in class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle was held twice. The subject of this research is the students of class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo district which amounted to 18 people, with the number of male students 9 people, and female students 9 people. The techniques of collection Data used in this research are of observation, documentation, and evaluation. Based on the research results can be concluded that in the first cycle is still quite good with an average of 65,28. Then from 18 students only 11 students or 61,11% who achieve mastery individually. Students' learning outcomes in cycle II is quite good with an average of 71,94, and 15 students complete or 83,33% who achieve mastery individually. Thus it can be concluded that with the implementation of picture and picture model can be improve the learning outcomes of the knowing currency history at class III SDN 009 Ganting Salo Kampar district.

Abstract

This research was based on the low social studies learning outcomes of class IV SDN 004 Bangkinang, therefore the researchers provided a solution in the form of applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to improve student learning outcomes Recognizing the Development of Production, Communication and Transportation Technologies. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to apply the Student Facilitator and Explaining model to improve social studies learning outcomes in the material Understanding the Development of Production, Communication and Transportation Technology in class IV students at SDN 004 Bangkinang. This research was conducted in class IV SDN 004 Bangkinang. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle held two meetings. The subjects of this study were 16 grade IV students at SDN 004 Bangkinang, with 10 male students and 6 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation, and testing techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in cycle I it was still quite sufficient with an average of 75.93, then out of 16 students only 12 students or 75% achieved completeness individually. Student learning outcomes in cycle II were relatively good with an average of 86.87 and 15 students completed or 93.75% who achieved completeness individually. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model it can improve learning outcomes Recognizing the Development of Production, Communication and Transportation Technology in class IV students at SDN 004 Bangkinang.

Abstract

One of solution to overcome this problem by implementation of scientific approach. The objective of study to know increase learning result of science material the animal's respiratory organs at the five year students of state elementary school 011 Koto Tuo Distric of XIII Koto Kampar by implementation of scientific approach. This research is a kind of Classroom Action Research (CAR) executed in two cycles. Every cycles consisted of bay one meeting and four phase, thas is planning, action, observation, and reflection. the subjects in this study is five grade students of 011 Koto Tuo Distric of XIII Koto Kampar 2017-2018 school year the number of students of 31 people, consisting of 14 men and 17 women. Data collection techniques used in this study is the observation, testing, and documentation. Having conducted research note an increase in student learning outcomes of prior actions, the first cycle and second cycle. In the pre-action mastery students only reached 45,46% or 14 students who completed, the students who pass the first cycle increased to 18 people or completeness only reached 58,06%. In the second cycle turns completeness students at 27 students or the percentage of 87,10%. Thereby that is the implementation of scientific approach to increase learning result of science material the animal's respiratory organs at the five year students of state elementary school 011 Koto Tuo Distric of XIII Koto Kampar.

Abstract

This researchis based on the low learning outcomes of studens in IPA subjects especially on the material changes in the appearance of aerth. On solustion to overcome this problem is to use Cooperative learning model of Picture And Picture type. Thus the purpose of this study is to describe learning outcomes on science learning through application model of Cooperative learning Picture And Picture type in fourth grede students of elementary school. This research was conductted twice and eath cyle was held 2 times. This researchis implemented at SDN 007 Muara Jalai with research subject of research is class IV SDN. Data collection in this study using documentation, test , and observation techniques. Improvement of student’s learning outcomes learning changes in the appearance of the earth from before the completed student action overall 10 students or with a percentage of 43,47%, cyle 1 students who completed overall increased 15 percentage 65,21%, and in cyle II the complete students or with percentage 86,95%. And average students score increased from before 69,82%, cyle I with average 71,30% increased to 78,04% in cyle II. So, learning Perubahan Kenampakan Bumi earth with the model of Cooperative learning type of Picture And Picture can improve student learning outcomes class IV.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning result of science at the four year students of state elementary school 41 Pekanbaru. One of solution to solve this problem by implementation of cooperative learning model the type of Send-A- Problem. The objective of study to know increase learning result of science at the IV year students of state elementary school 41 Pekanbaru by implementation of cooperative learning model the type of Send-A-Problem. This research is a kind of Classroom Action Research executed in two cycles. Every cycles consisted of bay one meeting and four phase, thas is planning, action, observation, and reflection. the subjects in this research is the teachers, fourth grade students of 41 Pekanbaru the number of students of 36 people, consisting of 12 men and 13 women. Data collection techniques used in this study is the observation, testing, and documentation. Having conducted research note an increase in student learning outcomes of prior actions, the first cycle and second cycle. In the pre-action mastery students only reached 47.22% or 17 students who completed, the students who pass the first cycle increased to 24 people or completeness only reached 66,67%. In the second cycle turns completeness students at 32 students or the percentage of 88,89%. Thereby that is the implementation of cooperative learning model the type of Send-A-Problem to increase learning result of science at the four year students of state elementary school 41 Pekanbaru
