Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years through rhythmic gymnastics at TK Darul Yaqin Koto Ranah village, District Kabun, Rokan Hulu Regency. The type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out collaboratively between researchers and classroom teachers. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle was conducted in two meetings. The subjects of this study were 10 children of the Darul Yaqin Kindergarten Playgroup in Koto Ranah Village, Kabun District, which consisted of 5 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and documentation. Techniques Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that there was an increase in gross motor skills after using rhythmic gymnastics. The child's gross motoric improvement every cycle experiences development. This is evidenced from the results of research 7 out of 10 children or 70% of the total have been able to do rhythmic gymnastics and begin to proficiently move their bodies without the help of their teachers. Abstract

This research was conducted because of the low creativity of children in group A of An-Nur Hangtuah Kindergarten and this affects the overall learning process, therefore the researcher proposes an alternative problem solving in the form of learning with the help of flour plasticine media. The research method applied is a type of class room action research (PTK) with 4 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and documentation techniques, while data analysis techniques are quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study showed an increase in children's creativity through flour plasticine media activities in group A of An Nur Hangtuah Kindergarten Perhentian Raja Kampar Academic Year 2017/2018. Abstract

The low gross motor skills of children in group A of Permata Bunda Kindergarten as reason for this research, while one of the solutions offered by researchers was the apply of throwing and catching balls activities. The type of research applied was classroom action research with 2 cycles and 2 meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and documentation techniques. The results of the research was that the gross motor skills of group A children in Kindergarten Permata Bunda, Banjar Panjang Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency could be improved through throwing and catching balls. The increase that occurs can be seen from the research stage, namely observations made during pre-action, implementation of cycle I and cycle II actions. Judging from the results of the pre-action with ball throwing activities, the value for the BB criteria is the number of children 14 with a percentage of 70%, the BM criteria the number of children is 4 with a percentage of 20%, in the BSH criteria the number of children is 2 the percentage is 10% and in the BSB criteria the number of children is 0 percentage 0 %. In the first cycle of throwing activities, the criteria for BB number of children is 1 percentage 5%, BM number of children is 3 percentage 15%, BSH number of children is 15 percentage 75% and BSB number of children is 1 percentage 5%. In the activity of catching the BB criteria the number of children is 0 percentage 0%, BM the number of children is 4 percentage 20%, BSH the number of children is 12 the percentage is 60% and BSB the number of children is 4 percentage 20% In cycle II the following data were obtained on Throwing activities with BB criteria number of children 0 percentage 0%, BM number of children 1 percentage 5%, BSH number of children 3 percentage 15%. BSB number of children 16 percentage 80%. In the activity of catching the criteria for BB the number of children is 0 percentage 0%, BM the number of children is 1 percentage 5%, BSH the number of children is 4 the percentage is 20% and BSB the number of children is 15 the percentage is 75%. From the data above, the implementation of actions in cycle I to cycle II shows that the acquisition of children has increased, namely in throwing activities, throwing activities from 1 or 5% to 16 or 80%, while catching activities the number of children is 4 or 20% to 15 or 75%. Abstract

This study is based on the low learning outcomes of students in IPS subjects in class V SDN 011 Bukit Melintang. One solution to solve this problem is to use the Contextual approach. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of IPS learning outcomes of ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia by using the contextual approach of grade V students SDN 011 Bukit Melintang. This Research Method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which implemented in two cycles. The study was conducted from Augustl to September 2017. The subjects of this study were the students of grade V of SDN 011 Bukit Melintang which amounted to 20 people, with the number of male students 9 people and female students 11 people. Data collection techniques used in this study are the techniques of observation, documentation, and tests. Based on the research results can be concluded that in the first cycle is still quite average with an average of 70.50, then from 20 students only 11 students or 55% who achieve mastery individually. Student learning outcomes in cycle II is good with an average of 76.67 and 17 students complete or 85% who achieve mastery individually. Thus it can be concluded that by using a contextual approach can improve the learning outcomes of ethnic and cultural diversity of the students in grade V SDN 011 Bukit Melintang. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics subjects in class IV SDN 013 Ganting, Salo District, Kampar Regency. One solution to overcome this problem is to use the RME approach. The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes on multiples and number factors using the RME approach for fourth grade students at SDN 013 Ganting. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection and research time carried out from March to August 2017. The research subjects were 11 class IV students, with 6 male students and 6 female students. totaling 5 people. Collection techniques include documentation, observation and tests. The results of this research can be concluded that the student learning outcomes for class IV fractions at SDN 013 Ganting in cycle I were classified as good with an average of 77.27. Furthermore, of the 11 students who completed it, only 8 students completed it, while classical learning completion was 72.73%. In cycle II it was very good with an average of 84.09 and 11 students, there were 9 students who completed it while classical learning completeness was 81.82%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach can improve mathematics learning outcomes in multiples and number factors for class IV SDN 013 Ganting. Abstract

This study aims to improve children's fine motor skills with plasticine play activities, motivated by the low fine motor skills in group B children of Dharma Bakti Kindergarten. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research method (PTK). This class action research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings. The research subjects were children of Tulip class, group B of Dharma Bakti Kindergarten, totaling 11 children. The object of research is using plasticine media. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and documentation techniques. The results showed an increase in fine motor skills in each indicator. It can be seen from the results in cycle II action, where in the indicator of working the fingers BB 0 children or 0% MB value 1 child or 9.09% BSB value 2 children or 18.18% BSH value 8 children or 72.73%. There is also an indicator of moving the wrist value BB 0 children or 0% value MB 0 children or 0% BSH 2 or 18.18% value BSB 8 children or 72.73% value. Indicators of eye-hand coordination BB value 0 children or 0% MB value 1 child or 9.09% BSB value 3 children or 27.02% and BSB value 7 children or 63.89% showed that children's fine motor skills had increased in cycle II. Abstract

The background of this research is the low ability of the children group B of Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten in recognizing number symbols 1-10. Some children have not been able to match numbers with their number symbols. One of the solutions offered by researchers is to try the activity of matching writing with number symbols to improve understanding of number symbols in children group B of Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten. The type of research applied is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques used were observation techniques and documentation techniques, while data analysis techniques used in this research were quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. The research results obtained were the BB value in the pre-action 7 children or 41.18% In the first cycle it became 2 children or 11.76% and in the second cycle it became 0 children or 0%, the MB value in the pre-action was 6 children or 35.209% , in cycle 1 there were 5 children or 29.41% then in cycle II there was 1 child or 5.88%, the BSH value in the pre-action there were 2 children or 11.76% In cycle 1 there were 6 children or 35.29% then in cycle II there were 5 children or 29.41%, the final value of BSB in pre-action activities there were 2 children or 11.76% in cycle 1 there were 4 children or 23.53% and at the end of cycle II there were 11 children or 64.71% of these results show a very significant improvement. Thus it can be concluded that the activity of matching writing with number symbols can improve the ability to recognize number symbols in children. Abstract

The low cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years in Kejora Bangsa Kindergarten were the reason why this research was done. One of the activities offered by researchers to solve this problem is the activity of playing to know colors. The research used was classroom action research with 2 cycles and 2 meetings in each cycle, while the data collection technique used was observation and documentation techniques. The results of the research that was a significant cognitive increase in children as follows: the BB value at pre-action with a total of 10 children the percentage was 64.28%, in the first cycle the percentage was 3 children to 17.81%, in the second cycle there were 0 children the percentage was 0% As for the MB value in the pre-action with 1 child the percentage was 7.14%, in the first cycle it became 4 children the percentage was 28.57%, in the second cycle it became 0 children the percentage was 0%. As for the BSH value in pre-action with 4 children the percentage was 28.57%, in cycle I it became 1 child the percentage was 7.14%, in cycle II it became 2 children the percentage was 11.76%. As for the BSB value in Pre-action with 0 children the percentage was 0%, in the first cycle there were 7 children the percentage was 47.60%, in the second cycle there were 13 children the percentage was 88.23%. Based on the results of the research above, it is recommended that teachers be able to use color recognition play activities as an alternative way to improve children's cognitive abilities. Abstract

This background of this research is the low ability of children to recognize number symbols, one of the alternatives offered by researchers is the introduction of number symbols by applying the demonstration method. The research method used was classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. Data collection methods used are observation, assignment and documentation. The results showed that the children's cognitive abilities in recognizing number symbols which developed very well in each indicator showed a good increase after the action was carried out in cycle II, where children could recognize number symbols 1-10 with a percentage of 71.4%, children could show number symbols 1-10 in sequence with a percentage of 62.0%, children paired symbol numbers 1-20 with picture media with a percentage of 76.1%, and children could name symbols of numbers 1-10 in sequence with a percentage of 76.1%. Abstract

The background of this research is the low fine motor skills in group B children at Nurul Hikmah Kindergarten. One solution to this problem is to apply coloring activities using the smear technique. This study aims to find out whether coloring activities using the smear technique can improve fine motor skills in group B at Nurul Hikmah Kindergarten. The subjects in this study consisted of 11 children, 8 girls and 3 boys. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the development of fine motor skills in each child indicator with BB criteria (Not yet Developed) experienced a reduction in children from pre-cycle there was 72.7% in cycle I there was 27% and cycle II there were no more children with criteria Undeveloped. The MB criteria (Beginning to Develop) from 18.2% in the pre-cycle increased in cycle I to 52.75% and in cycle II there were no children with the Starting to Develop criteria. BSH criteria (Developing According to Expectations) increased from 9.1% to 20.72% in cycle I and cycle II increased again to 38.25%. BSB criteria (Very Well Developed) in the initial conditions and cycle I there were no children who developed very well but in cycle II it increased to 61.75%.
