Abstract

This study aims to develop a bee tourism educational media using Augmented Reality at KampungMadu Kediri to deliver information interactively and comprehensibly. The development method employed the System Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall model through stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The Android-based application displays 3D objects, text, and educational audio by scanning visual markers. Blackbox Testing results showed that all features functioned as expected. The educational material evaluation recorded an average score of 4.2 (close to “Strongly Agree”) or 84%, categorized as “Very Good,” indicating relevant, accurate, and engaging content. These findings demonstrate that the application is effective in improving visitor literacy, enhancing the tourism experience, and functioning without the need for a direct guide.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of supply chain management at Cargo dan Courier Service Batam Company, a logistics company based in Batam, Indonesia. The research applies a descri Perusahaanive qualitative method through literature review and company case study. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of supply chain management, identify the challenges faced, and analyze the strategies implemented to improve operational efficiency. The results show that PERUSAHAAN Cargo dan Courier Service Batam has adoPerusahaaned information technology-based supply chain management systems, including ERP integration, real-time tracking, and warehouse automation. These implementations successfully reduced delivery delays by up to 40%, improved efficiency by 25%, and enhanced customer satisfaction. However, the company continues to face external challenges such as fluctuating transportation costs, customs regulations, and weather related risks that may affect distribution. In conclusion, the integrated technology-based supply chain management system is a key factor in achieving competitiveness in the logistics industry within the global market.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental aspect in the development of human resources, especially in the field of computer science. One of the core subjects is Discrete Mathematics, yet many students struggle to grasp its concepts, particularly in logic. Based on observations and student grades from the Informatics Engineering Department at Darussalam Gontor University, it is evident that comprehension levels remain low. This study aims to develop a 3D game-based learning media using a gamification method. The software was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model and implemented using Unity with 3D interactive control. The application was evaluated through questionnaires to content experts, media experts, and users. Validation results indicate the application is feasible as an alternative learning medium and can enhance students’ understanding and motivation in learning.

Abstract

Small and Medium Industries (SMI) face challenges in ensuring product safety and quality due to the optimal implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This study aims to design a standard production process framework based on GMP indicators to improve the process quality in snack food SMIs. The research employs a case study approach with a mixed-methods design at a chip�producing SMI in Batam City. The DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology was applied to analyze historical defect data, observations, and in-depth interviews. Initial measurement results showed a defect rate of 12.3% and a GMP audit score of 58%. The analysis revealed the root causes of the defects, namely the absence of SOPs, machine instability, and an unsupportive layout. The proposed solution is a framework encompassing layout modification, SOP development, training programs, and a daily monitoring checklist form integrated with GMP indicators. The study concludes that the systematic integration of GMP and DMAIC is effective in creating sustainable improvements and provides a practical contribution in the form of an adoptable model for similar food SMIs.

Abstract

Rafah Store: Books and Merchandise is a business unit under the management of the UPT Business Development Center of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, which focuses on selling books and various campus-themed merchandise products. In its operational practices, this store faces several obstacles, such as an unorganized service flow, the use of time-consuming manual procedures, and the lack of systematically documented business process documentation. This study aims to design a business process modeling at Rafah Store using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) approach as an effort to improve operational efficiency and service quality. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection methods through direct observation, interviews, and analysis of store operational activity documents. This study resulted in a core business process modeling that includes product ordering flow, customer service, inventory management, and financial reporting processes. BPMN is used to clearly visualize the workflow and the roles of each party involved. The application of this BPMN model allows management to more easily identify inefficient processes, speed up service times, and improve coordination between departments. In addition, this model also has the potential to become a foundation for the development of a more integrated information system in the future. Overall, BPMN has proven to be an effective tool in improving operational efficiency and service quality at Rafah Store.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how social changes in the digital era in interaction and communication ethics in higher education, this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with field research, the data collection process is in the form of interviews with sources from academic circles, namely 1 lecturer and 2 students of the Islamic University of Riau, observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that there is a social change in the digital era that refers to the Habitus theory of Perre Bourdien, the intense use of digital technology is able to shape changes in social behavior, this is because of the ability to multitask, making someone familiar with digital media platforms, the way individuals process each information into an integral part of human identity. The form of social change in the digital era is in the form of social changes in the content of messages that do not consider quality but tend to consider quantity, as well as the erosion of cultural values of togetherness, and mutual cooperation, Changes in Interaction and Communication Ethics in Higher Education Changes in communication ethics in higher education, focusing on changes in the style of delivering message content that does not adhere to normative ethics, and message content that does not adhere to the ethics of honesty of messages. Changes in communication ethics refer to the accuracy of message content that violates communication ethics such as conveying messages using harsh words, the existence of neglected rights, injustice, disrespect, loss of mutual respect, and compassion.

Abstract

21st-century education demands that students adapt to rapid social, economic, and technological change. The Independent Curriculum (Curriculum Merdeka) is designed as a strategy to equip students with essential material, 21st-century skills, and strong character development. One of the main obstacles to learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in elementary schools is students' low problem-solving abilities, as shown by the results of the PISA 2022 international survey. Innovation in learning media is needed, one of which is through the development of videos based on a deep learning approach that can deepen conceptual understanding, support contextual learning, and train higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to develop a deep learning-based learning video to improve students' problem-solving skills in the IPAS subject. The research method uses the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A trial was conducted on sixth-grade students of SDN Karang Satria 04, Bekasi Regency, using needs questionnaires, expert validation, and problem-solving tests. The results showed that the media was deemed "very valid" and "practical," with 95% of students interested in learning IPAS through videos. Effectiveness tests showed a significant increase in problem-solving abilities, particularly problem identification, hypothesis formulation, and solution determination.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Sargassum sp soaking method. using fresh water, salt water and distilled water to determine the characteristics of the flour produced. The analysis results showed that the highest flour yield was obtained by soaking using distilled water at 4.6%, followed by salt water at 4%, and fresh water at 3.73%. The highest protein content of flour was found in fresh water treatment at 30.6%, while the highest fat content was found in flour soaked in salt water reaching 20.59%, much higher than fresh water (5.03%) and distilled water (10.57%). The highest ash content was also observed in the saltwater treatment (32.57%). Soaking in fresh water produces the highest crude fiber content, namely 17.16%, followed by salt water 11.24% and distilled water 5.3%. The carbohydrate content in flour varies between 32.84% to 39.6%. This difference in composition is thought to be caused by variations in salinity and water chemical properties which affect the extraction of nutrients and fiber in seaweed. This research provides important insights in optimizing the Sargassum sp flour processing process. for food and feed industry applications, as well as the potential for maximum utilization of seaweed as an alternative nutritional source.
