Abstract

The low interest in learning English in primary school, one of which is influenced by learning methods applied by teachers in conventional, it causes the students find it difficult to understand the subject matter of English. Basic English learning method requires the application of the fun that can foster student interest and make it easier to understand the subject matter, one of them with the implementation of interactive multimedia learning media in the form of applications / software-based computer. The scope of the problem in this research is how to create interactive multimedia learning media in the form of applications / software, computer-based, in order to facilitate students in understanding the subject matter of English. The method used is the method of literature, observation, interviews, analysis, project design, testing and implementation. With the interactive multimedia learning media will be useful for students and make it easier to understand basic English language learning materials.

Abstract

Bamboo is one of the plants in the tropics which is also a lignocellulosic natural material which can be used as a substitute for wood. There are hundreds of types of bamboo in Indonesia, where each type has its own characteristics in its use so that bamboo has potential in the industrial sector where when combined with innovation and creativity it has high economic value and is in demand by domestic and foreign consumers. The use of "Remote Sensing" technology, especially in terms of identifying bamboo and vegetation and other objects, has been proven through research related to land cover classification. This study aims to classify land cover spectrum data using an Artificial Neural Network algorithm.Classification of 36 data consisting of light bamboo, dark bamboo, dry soil, wet soil, bricks, concrete, grass, and taro leaves was evaluated using accuracy techniques. The resulting accuracy is 94.45%.

Abstract

To maximize the performance of DC motors, the proper use of the controller is crucial. Design of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller on dc motor has been done frequently. The use of PID controllers requires proper parameter setting to achieve optimal performance on the motor. Commonly used is the trial-error method, to determine the parameters of the PID controller, but the results obtained do not make the PID controller optimal and will actually damage the system. Therefore, in this research we will propose one of PID parameter tuning method, that is by using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), to optimize and determine the proper parameters of PID. PSO is one of the smart methods inspired by the behavior of particles that search for food sources in groups, this concept is adapted and applied into intelligent algorithms to solve optimization problems. From the results obtained the PSO method can well tune the parameters of PID, where for Kp 57.2409, ki = 23.7090, and kd = 9.3575. Response speed after PID receiver, resulting overshoot does not exist and settling time is very fast.

Abstract

Lecturer performance is very important to support the progress of higher education. Determination of lecturer performance is based on Tri Dharma activities, including: teaching, research and community service. This study aims to build a model that can predict the predicate of lecturers from the activities carried out. The best model is obtained by comparing the use of two algorithms, namely Decision Tree and Naive Bayes. Data mining methods use the CRISP-DM method, namely business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and development. Performance testing of training data using K Fold Cross Validation. The modeling results with this performance show that the Decision Tree algorithm has better performance with 94.70%, accuracy, 93.24% precision and 96.33% recall, while Naïve Bayes algorithm has performance with 92.95%, accuracy 90.08% and 96.33%. This shows that modeling using the Decision Tree algorithm can be used as a model in determining lecturer performance.

Abstract

Nowdays, information technology has been applied to all sectors in human life and has been used in various fields to support a business processes in order to run faster, accurately and efficiently. PT Bakri Karya Sarana is a company that is engaged in cleaning service provider or outsourcing employee provider that has 470 outsourcing employee in Batam area. In its employee data management, PT Bakri Karya Sarana still has several obstacles in recruiting new prospective employees, registering employee’s attendance, permission, leave, mutation, promotion, demotion, resignation, warning letters, field staff appraisal and employee quality assessment by clients. The purpose of this study is to build a website-based of Staffing Information System at PT Baki Karya Sarana to simplify and minimized the problems happened in Human Resource Development (HRD) division. Framework for the Application of System thinking (FAST) is a methodology of this study. This Staffing Information System was built using notepad++, PHP as a programming language and MySQL as data storage media. This Staffing Information System can assist HRD Division in managing all staffing data, starting from recruiting new prospective employees, performance data collection process and empoyee’s rights until the process of reporting can be done faster and accurately.

Abstract

E-commerce is a website-based online sales platform. This e-commerce is a program built with the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database processor. This research was conducted at UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) Kampung Batik Betungan. E-commerce UKM Kampung Batik Betungan aims to introduce and make sales online. This e-commerce contains products produced by UKM Kampung Batik Betungan. E-commerce UKM Kampung Batik Betungan has been tested to 20 people as correspondents at UKM Kampung Batik Betungan and the community around UKM. Correspondents are batik craftsmen and the community in the environment of UKM Kampung Batik Betungan. From the test, the answers obtained based on the results of system testing conducted at UKM Kampung Batik Betungan stated 80.84% very good and 19.16% stated good to the system that has been made. So from the presentation results obtained, e-commerce UKM Kampung Batik Betungan can be used as an online sales platform.

Abstract

Stmik Pringsewu adalah salah satu instansi pendidikan  di Lampung  yang merupakan instansi terfavorit yang berada di wilayah kabupaten Pringsewu. Stmik Pringsewu sudah mempunyai website tetapi belum melayani pendaftaran mahasiswa baru secara online. Meskipun begitu pada perkembangannya, calon mahasiswa baru yang berminat untuk sekolah atau mendaftar di Stmik Pringsewu tersebut semakin banyak, baik yang dari dalam kota maupun yang dari luar kota, baik yang baru lulus SMU/sederajat maupun yang sudah bekerja. Sehingga dalam perkembangannya tersebut memerlukan pelayanan secara cepat dan tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan di Stmik Pringsewu, bahwa dengan adanya sistem aplikasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru ini akan mempermudah panitia dalam pengolahan data calon mahasiswa baru dalam proses pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru sampai proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru yang berada diluar daerah maupun didalam, khususnya wilayah provinsi Lampung, dan menyajikan informasi seputar penerimaan mahasiswa baru bisa diakses langsung melalui media website.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the management of the Jami Al-Kautsar Mosque in Depok which has not been properly recorded and the data storage is scattered. These constraints have the potential for data loss and inaccurate information and a process taking a long time to produce such information. In this study, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and literature study. The information system built uses the waterfall method as a software development or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using object-oriented design of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and testing using Black Box. The process in this study includes the process of managing activities, managing the mosque, inventory, finances and goods (income and expenditure). The results of research implemented by the author on the Management Information System of the Jami Al-Kautsar Mosque is a system that can provide information on the management of activities, mosque administrators (human resources), inventory, finances and goods (income and expenditure) as well as communicative and informative reports so that they can make evaluation materials and transparent accountability reports from the management to all congregations of the Jami Al-Kautsar Mosque. User satisfaction with the evaluation information system uses the five-category Black Box test and produces a good information system. Three categories of Black Box testing are no errors in functions, database access and structure and system performance above 60%.

Abstract

Penilaian terhadap suatu pekerjaan dalam sebuah perusahaan merupakan suatu tahap evaluasi kerja yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pekerjaan bagi kelangsungan aktivitas perusahaan didalamnya. Pekerjaan yang di inginkanoleh perusahaan terhadap para pekerja memiliki standart mutu untuk mengukur kebrhasilan kerja.Penilaian ini menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dalam sistem pendukung keputusan. Penilaian kinerja karyawan pada perusahaan didasari oleh beberapa kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, diantaranya kedisiplinan, kebersihan, kejujuran, komunikasi, kerjasama, dan tanggungjawab. Hasil dari penelitian ini berbentuk sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat mengolah data pemilihan karyawan berprestasi menjadi sebuah pertimbangan yang valid. Berdasarkan hail dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa alternatif A2 (Joni) merupakan karyawan berkinerja terbaik.Dari hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan pengambil keputusan menjadi terbantu dalam menentukan karyawan mana yang berpretasi dalam suatu perusahaan atau instansi.

Abstract

The presence of fintech lending services in the financial sector provides a change in lending and borrowing transactions that were previously still conventionally turned into digital. However, in this facility, there are still some shortcomings that are felt by users in using fintech services. This research is intended to find out what influences users in using fintech services, especially Danamas in Denpasar City by applying the original Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method which is modified using one external variable. This study uses quantitative methods and data analysis methods using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of Smart PLS 3.0 software. The sampling technique in this study uses two techniques, purposive sampling, and area sampling. The results of the tests carried out showed that of the ten hypotheses tested, directly and indirectly, there are seven accepted hypotheses and three rejected hypotheses. The three rejected hypotheses include the relationship between perceived ease of use (Y2) and attitude toward using (Y3), the relationship between perception of security (X1) and actual system of use (Y4) mediated by perceived usefulness (Y1), perceived ease of use (Y1), use (Y2), and attitude toward using (Y3), as well as the relationship between perceived ease of use (Y2) and the actual system of use (Y4) mediated by perceived usefulness (Y1) and attitude toward using (Y3) variables.
