Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce in Indonesia has driven significant changes in consumer shopping behavior, one of which is the increasing phenomenon of impulse buying. This study aims to examine the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on impulsive purchasing decisions among e-commerce users in Indonesia. FOMO is a psychological condition characterized by anxiety about missing out on trends, promotions, or opportunities that others are enjoying, which is further amplified by digital platform features such as flash sales, countdown timers, live broadcasts, and limited-time offers. This study used a causal associative quantitative approach involving 155 respondents who were active users of e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, Bukalapak, and Blibli) selected through a purposive sampling method. Data collection was conducted through an online questionnaire using Google Forms with a 5-point Likert scale measurement instrument. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression using SPSS 25 and Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3. This research is based on two theoretical frameworks: Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) model, which collectively explain the psychological mechanisms behind impulsive buying behavior. The results are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the role of FOMO as a driver of unplanned shopping behavior in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of the green marketing mix in shaping green brand equity and its contribution to enhancing competitive advantage and business development amid increasing environmental awareness among society.This research employs a quantitative method using a survey technique through Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to 76 respondents, consisting of students, business actors, and consumers. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data analysis is conducted using linear regression with the assistance of SPSS, complemented by validity testing and classical assumption tests.The results indicate that all components of the green marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place/distribution) have a positive effect on green brand equity. The implementation of green marketing strategies is proven to enhance positive perceptions, trust, and customer loyalty, thereby strengthening the company’s competitive position.These findings can serve as a reference for business practitioners in consistently implementing environmentally-based marketing strategies to strengthen brand image, increase customer loyalty, and support sustainable business performance.This study contributes added value by linking the concepts of green marketing mix and green brand equity within the context of business development, particularly in markets that are increasingly concerned with environmental issues.

Abstract

Marine pollution caused by coal waste is a serious problem for fishermen because it directly impacts the fisheries sector. Contaminants from this waste enter coastal ecosystems, whether dissolved in water, deposited in sediments, or accumulated in marine organisms such as fish, shrimp, shellfish, and seaweed. This situation threatens the balance of the ecosystem as well as the sustainability of fishery resources.  The coal spill incident in Meureubo, West Aceh, indicates negligence in industrial waste management and weak enforcement of environmental laws. This study aims to examine these issues from a maritime law perspective, referencing Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 and the London Convention, and to analyze their impact on fisheries sustainability.  The method used is a normative legal approach employing statutory analysis and case studies. The research findings indicate that the pollution in West Aceh has caused significant ecological and economic losses for the fishing community. Furthermore, this incident reflects the suboptimal implementation of law enforcement in the field of environmental protection.  Therefore, regulatory reforms, improved oversight effectiveness, and strengthened law enforcement are necessary to prevent similar pollution and ensure the long-term sustainability of fishery resources.

Abstract

Tureno is a business speacializing in the laundry parfume sector, and is committed to providing high-quality products with long-lasting fragrance. However, the business still uses a template-based logo that does not hold any intellectual property rights (IPR), making it less effective in building a strong visual identity and posing potential legal risks. Related to this, the purpose of this research was to redesign the logo as a corporate identity that is original, effective, and able to represent the character of Tureno.This study used the Action Research method, which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The logo was designed using CorelDRAW 2020 and involved 15 respondents, consisting of 1 business owner, 2 design experts, 2 marketing experts, and 10 consumers or potential consumers. The data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The effectiveness of the logo design was measured based on Carter’s theory in Sitorus et al., (2022), which includes six key indicators: Original & Distinctive, Legible, Simple, Memorable, EasilyAssociated with the Company, and Easily Adaptable for All Graphic Media. The results showed that the redesigned logo fulfilled all the indicators and was considered effective and suitable to be used as Tureno’s corporate identity. The respondents agreed that the new logo successfully represents the character of the business, is easy to remember, and can be applied across various media. Thus, the logo can serve as the official identity that supports Tureno's brand image and enhances its competitiveness in the laundry perfume industry.

Abstract

River pollution from industrial waste poses a serious threat to ecosystem sustainability and community welfare in the industrialisation era. This study aims to analyse the implementation of environmental law enforcement  in the Citeureup River pollution case involving PT Harapan Mulya in Bogor Regency, as well as to assess its effectiveness and impact on surrounding communities. The research employs a normative juridical method with a qualitative and conceptual approach, focusing on secondary data such as laws, regulations, and scientific literature. The findings show that law enforcement has been carried out gradually through administrative measures by the Bogor Regency Environment Office, including site sealing and closure of waste channels  (grouting) as forms of government  coercion (bestuursdwang). There is also potential for criminal sanctions under Law Number 32 of 2009 through the principle of strict liability. The pollution has significantly degraded water quality, damaged aquatic ecosystems, and caused health problems and economic decline for residents relying  on the river. The study concludes that although regulations are systematic, effective enforcement requires stronger supervision , better coordination, and greater compliance from business actors to ensure environmental protection and intergenerational justice

Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamics of legal compliance in society through a theoretical approach in sociology of law. Legal compliance is influenced not only by normative rules but also by social structures, cultural values, and individual perceptions. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method using a literature review of recent academic publications. The findings indicate that legal compliance is a multidimensional phenomenon shaped by legal awareness, legitimacy, social structures, and the compatibility between formal law and living law. Classical theories from Durkheim, Weber, and Ehrlich are integrated with modern perspectives to explain the complexity of legal behavior in society. The study reveals that compliance based on internalization is more sustainable than compliance based on coercion. Furthermore, the effectiveness of law depends on public trust and legitimacy. Therefore, sociological approaches are essential in legal development to create responsive and socially accepted laws.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Sharia principles in the preparation of financial statements and their impact on information quality and investor trust. The method used is a qualitative approach through a literature review. Principles such as honesty, transparency, accountability, and fairness form the basis for presenting reliable financial information. The results show that the application of Sharia principles enhances the credibility of financial statements, reduces manipulative practices, and minimizes information asymmetry between management and investors. This leads to increased investor trust and a stronger corporate image. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing financial reporting practices that emphasize integrity and public trust.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages business actors to switch to online promotions to expand the market. One of them is the use of e-commerce websites which are important for promotional media. UD. Sumber Rezeki experienced problems because it only did offline promotions and did not utilize digital marketing for agricultural medicine products. Therefore, this research aims to create an e-commerce website to more effectively promote its products. This study used the action research method. By using 3 testing methods. First Black box to test the functionality of the e-commerce website, second WebQual to test the effectiveness of design and appearance, third EPIC model to test the effectiveness of promotional media. This study showed valid Black box testing resulted for e-commerce website functionality. In the WebQual test, the score obtained was 1.27 WebQual Index (WQI). For the EPIC model test, the Empathy dimension got 4.4, the Persuasion dimension 4.3, the Impacted dimension 4.7, and the Communication dimension 4.6. When viewed from the EPIC rate scale, the result evinced 4.5. The study concluded that the creation of promotional media based on e-commerce websites using CMS Wordpress at UD. Sumber Rezeki successfully overcomes the problem of promotional media. In addition, this also has a positive impact on increasing competitiveness in the digital era and is in accordance with the habits of modern consumers who rely more on technology in shopping.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has made financial transactions easier for the public, including through the BRImo application with the QRIS feature. This feature allows users to make payments quickly and practically without using cash. This study aims to determine the effect of using BRImo through QRIS on the financial management of students at the University of Bengkulu. This research uses a quantitative method by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to students who use BRImo. The results show that the use of BRImo through QRIS has an influence on how students manage their finances, especially in making transactions and organizing their expenses more practically

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action in realizing workplace justice in organizations in Indonesia. Although both concepts are normatively designed to ensure equal opportunity and correct structural inequalities, their implementation still faces various obstacles, such as inconsistencies between formal policies and practices and low-effective oversight. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-method design through document study and limited empirical analysis, using conceptual, thematic, and regulatory analysis techniques. The results indicate that both concepts have a complementary relationship in creating workplace justice, but also have the potential to create conflict, particularly regarding the principle of meritocracy and employee perceptions of fairness. Furthermore, weak policy integration and a non-inclusive organizational culture are key inhibiting factors. This study contributes by strengthening the integrative conceptual framework and providing practical recommendations for organizations in designing more equitable and inclusive employment policies.
