Abstract

Globalization requires students not only to master academic knowledge but also to develop civic skills such as leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and social empathy. However, Civics Education (PPKn) learning that is still dominated by cognitive aspects often results in the low application of civic skills in real-life situations. This study aims to analyze the role of Youth Education and Scouting (PGMK) as an experiential civic learning model in strengthening the civic skills of PPKn students at UNNES. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature review and analysis of PGMK implementation, which integrates both indoor and outdoor learning activities. The results show that PGMK provides direct learning experiences through leadership training, teamwork activities, and problem-solving exercises, thereby contributing to the strengthening of students’ civic skills. The experiential learning model within PGMK effectively bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world practice. Therefore, PGMK can serve as an innovative learning model to improve the quality of Civics Education in a more contextual and meaningful way.

Abstract

Mastering writing skills (maharah al-kitabah) through the Insya’ Tahriry course represents the pinnacle of language proficiency for Arabic Language Education students. However, a significant gap exists between expected competencies and students' actual abilities, leading to a stagnation in the quality of their scientific work. This study aims to identify linguistic and non-linguistic obstacles through a qualitative case study approach using descriptive content analysis. The primary data source consists of fourth-semester student assignment portfolios analyzed through error analysis procedures. Research findings indicate that dominant linguistic obstacles include syntactic errors (i’rab), morphological distortions in tashrif, and strong mother-tongue interference. Non-linguistically, barriers are triggered by writing anxiety, disparities in educational backgrounds, and a lack of clinical feedback, which leads to language fossilization. The study concludes that pedagogical transformation is required through collaborative manuscript "dissection" and the strengthening of a digital-based bi’ah lughawiyyah. This humanistic-clinical approach is expected to break the cycle of learning problems to produce competitive Arabic educators in the global era.

Abstract

This article stems from the epistemological crisis in the integration of existential humanistic psychology with theology, particularly the thinking of Abraham Maslow, who tends to emphasize self-actualization within an anthropocentric framework. In the context of modern society, this approach faces limitations when faced with the need for social transformation based on transcendental values. The research gap lies in the absence of a conceptual formulation capable of systematically synthesizing self-actualization with the framework of Islamic theology and spirituality, especially in building a transformative theological society. This article uses an integrative theoretical approach that combines humanistic psychology, Islamic theology, and Sufism. The method used is qualitative research based on literature studies with critical, comparative analysis, and conceptual synthesis of primary and secondary literature. The main argument put forward is the need to reconstruct the concept of self-actualization towards theocentric transcendence, namely a paradigm that simultaneously integrates divine awareness, self-development, and social responsibility. The results of the study indicate that the integration of the concept of peak experience in humanistic psychology with the spiritual experience of Sufism can become a new epistemological foundation in understanding individual and social transformation. This article's scholarly contribution lies in proposing the concept of "theocentric transcendence" as a theoretical development of Maslow's thinking, as well as the formulation of a theological-transformative model of society that holistically connects psychological, spiritual, and social dimensions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM), and Price on the purchase decisions of Mie Gacoan in Samarinda. The rapid growth of the digital culinary industry has pushed social media to become a significant driver of consumer behavior. The population of this research includes residents of Samarinda who have purchased Mie Gacoan in the last three months and actively use social media. Sampling was conducted using a non-probability sampling method with a total of 150 respondents based on Hair's formulation guidelines. Data were analyzed quantitatively using Multiple Linear Regression analysis via IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The results of the partial analysis (t-test) showed that FOMO, EWOM, and Price each have a positive and statistically significant effect on consumer purchase decisions. Among all variables, Price was identified as the most dominant factor influencing purchase decisions, indicated by the highest regression coefficient. Simultaneously (F-test), FOMO, EWOM, and Price significantly influence purchase decisions altogether, accounting for 48.5% of the variance (R Square = 0.485). Culinary business actors should maintain affordable pricing models while consistently leveraging positive online reviews and viral social trends to maximize market growth.

Abstract

The Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) protocol is a crucial foundation for modern computer network communication interactions, enabling structured and reliable data transfer. This study aims to evaluate the application of TCP/IP to improve data delivery efficiency across a variety of network environments, including local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). Through a systematic literature review and comparative analysis, this study investigates how TCP/IP works, the elements that influence transmission efficiency, and optimization methods that can be applied to improve network performance. The study's findings reveal that data delivery efficiency is significantly influenced by TCP window size settings, congestion control algorithms, and network infrastructure conditions. Proper TCP/IP implementation, including adjustments to parameters such as window size, can significantly reduce latency and dramatically increase throughput. The study also demonstrates that the choice between TCP and UDP should consider the nature of the application and data reliability requirements. The study's conclusions provide practical advice for network administrators and system developers on improving data delivery performance through efficient TCP/IP protocol configuration. These findings have a significant impact on the development of more efficient and responsive networks to meet today's data transmission demands

Abstract

Data structures are one of the most important foundations of computer science, defining how information is stored, organized, and manipulated within a computing system. Without a proper understanding of data structures, a software developer will struggle to design efficient, scalable, and reliable systems. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts of data structures and their crucial role in modern programming practice. It covers various types of data structures—from linear structures such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, and queues to non-linear structures such as trees, graphs, and hash tables—and discusses criteria for selecting an appropriate data structure based on the problem context. The method used is a systematic literature review of relevant scientific publications, technical reports, and official documentation from 2026 onward. The results of the study indicate that selecting an appropriate data structure directly affects the time and space complexity of an algorithm, which ultimately impacts the overall performance of a software system. Furthermore, this article also identifies several gaps in the literature related to the teaching of data structures in academic settings, particularly in Indonesia. It is hoped that this article will serve as a useful academic reference for students, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of information technology and software engineering.

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the influence of economic literacy and digital skills on students' cognitive flexibility. The study employed quantitative methods. The primary data source was questionnaires distributed to eleventh-grade economics students as respondents. The data analysis technique used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) using the SmartPLS application. The study found that economic literacy had a positive and significant impact on cognitive flexibility. Furthermore, digital skills also had a positive and significant impact on cognitive flexibility. The results of this study indicate that the better students' economic literacy and digital skills, the greater their cognitive flexibility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for improving the quality of land certification services at the Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Land certification services constitute an important form of public service in ensuring legal certainty of land ownership rights for the community. In practice, there are still various administrative, technical, and social challenges that affect service effectiveness. Therefore, appropriate strategies are required to enhance service quality so that it becomes more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The findings indicate that strategies to improve service quality are implemented through three main aspects: organizational structure development, simplification of service systems and procedures, and strengthening of service culture. Organizational structure development is carried out through a clear division of duties and functions in accordance with job descriptions. The simplification of systems and procedures is implemented through the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the provision of transparent administrative requirement information. Meanwhile, strengthening service culture is reflected in the friendly, responsive, and professional attitude of employees in serving the public.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of discussion methods and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on students’ learning motivation in Christian Religious Education courses at Universitas Terbuka in Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi. This research uses a quantitative correlational approach with a purposive sampling technique involving 27 students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings indicate that active learning strategies such as discussion and PjBL have the potential to improve student participation, engagement, and learning motivation in distance learning environments. The study also highlights that contextual and collaborative learning approaches are relevant to the characteristics of higher education students and can support meaningful learning experiences in Christian Religious Education.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the development of education in the digital era and its impact on students’ psychology. The discussion in this article includes the development of digital education, the use of technology in learning, the positive and negative impacts of technology, the influence of social media on students, the challenges faced by teachers and parents, and ways to create healthy learning in the digital era. The method used in this article is a literature study by reviewing various journals, scientific articles, and research results related to digital education and student psychology. The findings show that digital technology has positive impacts on learning, such as easier access to information, increased creativity, and more effective learning for students. However, excessive use of technology can also cause negative impacts, such as social media addiction, decreased learning focus, lack of direct social interaction, and mental health problems among students. In addition, teachers and parents face challenges in supervising the use of technology so that it can be used wisely. Therefore, cooperation between schools, teachers, parents, and students is needed to create healthy and balanced learning in accordance with educational developments in the digital era.
