Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the strategic role of air transportation management in Military Operations Other Than War (MOOTW), particularly in archipelagic contexts such as Indonesia, where rapid humanitarian response, territorial surveillance, and civil–military cooperation are essential for resilience. By applying a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this article synthesizes findings on humanitarian logistics, technological transformation, and policy frameworks for strengthening national defense readiness. Design/methodology/approach – This study employs a qualitative Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology guided by PRISMA principles, analyzing 30 scholarly contributions from 2009–2025, including international peer-reviewed journals, Routledge and Springer volumes, arXiv preprints, and Indonesian academic publications. Results highlight that strategic air  transportation is indispensable for disaster relief, medical evacuation, and supply delivery in archipelagic nations. The adoption of AI, machine learning, UAVs, and reinforcement learning has enhanced responsiveness and equity in humanitarian supply chains. However, persistent challenges include aging fleets, interoperability constraints, and fragmented civil–military coordination. The study underscores the need for modernization of air assets, institutionalized civil–military collaboration, and integration of AI-based routing and command systems. Strengthening these aspects can enhance Indonesia’s resilience and preparedness in MOOTW scenarios. This article uniquely bridges global research on data-driven air power with Indonesian defense perspectives, proposing a scalable strategic framework for air transportation management that advances archipelagic resilience.

Abstract

The implementation of patient safety culture in hospitals remains a significant challenge, often leading to adverse events. Establishing a strong patient safety culture requires effective interprofessional collaboration among healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care. However, factors such as organizational distrust and job dissatisfaction continue to hinder collaborative efforts and negatively affect the quality of care and patient safety outcomes. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational trust and job satisfaction on patient safety culture, with interprofessional collaboration serving as an intervening variable at MP hospital.  This quantitative associative research used a causal approach involving 93 inpatient nurses as respondents. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires using an ordinal scale based on a 4–1 Likert scale. Data processing employed the three-box method, and data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results revealed that organizational trust, job satisfaction, and interprofessional collaboration simultaneously and partially influence patient safety culture. Moreover, interprofessional collaboration was found to mediate the relationship between organizational trust, job satisfaction, and patient safety culture. The study concludes that enhancing patient safety culture can be achieved by strengthening organizational trust and job satisfaction through effective interprofessional collaboration. Hospitals should develop supportive systems that foster care and concern among staff, enhance conflict management, improve performance appraisal mechanisms, and promote open, effective communication across all professional groups involved in patient care. These strategies can create a safer, more collaborative, and high-quality healthcare environment

Abstract

This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA 2020 Statement guidelines to identify the main models and indicators used in measuring the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The literature selection process includes the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion, resulting in ten articles from reputable Q1 international journals. The analysis reveals that the most frequently used performance measurement models are integrated performance models such as the Balanced Scorecard, Performance Prism, and models based on resource capability, customer, internal process, and financial perspectives. Commonly used indicators include sales growth, profitability, market share, customer satisfaction, process flexibility, technology adoption, and business sustainability. The study concludes that although financial measures remain dominant, non-financial dimensions—such as digital capability, stakeholder engagement, and internal process effectiveness—are increasingly important for MSMEs operating in the context of global market dynamics and digital transformation. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of MSME performance measurement frameworks and offer practical guidance for MSME managers in selecting indicators that align with the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain the influence of workload on job satisfaction with job stress as a mediating variable at PT. BPR Karya Artha Sejahtera Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative causality approach with a sample of 86 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using inferential analysis with the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares) method through the SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The results indicate that workload has a positive effect on job stress and a negative effect on job satisfaction. Job stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction and is proven to mediate the relationship between workload and job satisfaction. These findings support the two-factor theory and emphasize that poorly distributed workload can cause employees to experience stress at work. Job stress can reduce employees’ satisfaction with their jobs. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to the research site in improving job satisfaction by considering workload and job stress.

Abstract

This study confirms that brand trust and product involvement have an important role in increasing brand engagement among Kamen RareBali consumers. The analysis results show that brand trust has a significant positive effect, meaning that the higher the level of consumer trust in the brand, the greater their involvement with the brand, both through interactions on social media and product purchases. This is in line with the theory that trust in the brand is an important foundation in building loyalty and long-term relationships with consumers. Meanwhile, product involvement also shows a significant positive effect, indicating that consumers who feel more involved, interested, or care about the product tend to be more active in brand engagement . These findings indicate that Kamen RareBali needs a strategy that emphasizes improving consumer experience with the product, including through educational content, interactive promotions, and personalized services. Simultaneously, these two variables explain 63.1% of the variation in brand engagement , implying that other factors such as service quality, shopping experience, and communication strategy also influence consumer engagement. The practical implication is that companies should focus on building brand trust through positive reputation, testimonials, and transparency, as well as increasing product engagement through emotional experiences and meaningful interactions.
