Abstract

Information technology has significantly transformed traditional educational systems into adaptable forms of learning. Experimental tension test is a practical study included in the mechanical engineering curriculum, specifically as a part of Material and Metallurgy. The fundamental issue arises from the deficiency in comprehending the understanding of mechanical properties, which is a result of traditional educational methods. Virtual reality (VR) technology enhances the comprehension of the study of material properties for students studying mechanical engineering. This study presents a virtual reality tool, called VR experimental tensile test. It is intended to be utilized in flexible learning. Students as a user can investigate and examine the utilization of the program for learning and conducting safety lab orientation. The application evaluation was conducted using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). This study suggests that using 3D model visualization in the virtual reality application enhances user experiences in learning tensile test and follow its lab orientation.

Abstract

Based on Government Regulation Number 57 of 2001 concerning National Education Standards & Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Regulation Number 09 of 2022 concerning Evaluation of the Education System by Regional Governments for Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education, an Educational Report Platform has emerged to help staff education and those responsible for education in improving the quality of education. Starting from the issue of the quality of Indonesian education, according to the Central Statistics Agency, Sakernas data (2018) recorded that the population of North Central Timor aged 15 years and over who worked was mostly elementary school graduates or below at 65.78%. Meanwhile, Diploma graduates or above only amounted to 11.10%. Apart from that, the School Participation Rate in 2018 for the population aged 7-12 years (SD) was 99.48% who attended school while the rest did not, the population aged 13-15 years (SMP) attended school 92.75% while the rest did not, the population aged 16-18 years old (SMA) who attend school are 64.97% while the rest are not. So, data-based educational planning is needed through education reports. This research was conducted at the North Central Timor Regency Education Service, East Nusa Tenggara using a qualitative approach, and the research objects were the Head of the Education Service and service operators. The results of the research illustrate data-based educational planning that contains holistic student learning outcomes from both cognitive and non-cognitive (character) aspects and encourages educational units and education offices to make improvements through preparing achievement improvement activities based on the results of identification and reflection on achievements. Educational report cards that are appropriate to the field conditions of educational units by carrying out three stages of the Data Based Planning (PBD) process, namely Identification, Reflection, and Improvement (IRB).

Abstract

Data from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) shows that Indonesia needs 1.3 million teachers by 2024. In an effort to meet the needs of teachers, the recruitment of government employees with work agreements (PPPK) for functional positions is organized with a strict selection system. PPPK procurement in each region must submit a formation proposal to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research by first analyzing teacher needs. This applies to Pringsewu district, Lampung province. Based on the regulation of the Minister of National Education no. 7 of 2010 states that in fulfilling teacher needs, teacher needs analysis is carried out by considering 1) the ratio of teachers and students, 2) the distribution of teachers, and 3) the projection of fulfilling the teacher workload of at least 24 face-to-face hours in 1 week. The research subjects were; Head of the Primary School Teachers and Education Personnel (GTK) Section of the Pringsewu District Education and Culture Office. The research was conducted using descriptive-qualitative methods. The results that the regional government policy of Pringsewu Regency seeks to provide for teacher needs by proposing the formation of teacher needs to the Kemendikbudristek based on the number of PPPK formations in 2023 will be 668 formations (teachers). The proposed formation is made in accordance with the results of the GTK section head's analysis so that it can balance the supply and demand of teachers needed in Pringsewu district.

Abstract

The problem of correspondence cannot be separated from the ease, accuracy and speed of the processing process. In research from Riswandi Ishak and H. Trizaka, they proposed report management software as well as notification of disposition and monitoring of correspondence as a solution to correspondence problems. However, there are shortcomings in the notification process for the disposition of correspondence, which requires the software to be actively open. In research, P. Dwi proposed a notification solution with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), so that it can send notifications as long as the browser is active and connected to the internet, even without opening the software. There is a problem currently when the software becomes unstable when the internet connection is bad or offline. Progressive Web Apps (PWA) offers the concept of web-based application development by implementing browser technology such as service workers and app manifests. PWA is capable of displaying pages offline but cannot save, change, or delete data in the database. The test results of this research used Lighthouse and showed an average score of 100 on the PWA criteria, 85 on the performance criteria, 97 on the accessibility criteria, and 100 on the best practices criteria. Additional results obtained by implementing PWA mean page loading times are 26.6% faster with cache and service workers. The PWA and FCM concepts provide the best experience in using Mailing Software even with minimal internet connection or offline. This strategy was chosen to still get a fast response when running the mail processing software.

Abstract

Auditors’s performance currently faces challenges in gaining public trust. Many factors are considered to influence, while several previous studies still show inconsistent results. The aim of the research is to identify the influence of independence, worksexperience and ethics’s code on performance of internal auditors at SAS PARTS companies. This quantitative research’s data gained from questionnaires. The research’s population were 40 auditors spread across branch offices in Indonesia. The saturation sampling techniques used in this research. The method to analyze data was multiple linear regression. Indications of the research’s results as follows: 1. Independence does not affect internal auditor’s performance. It can be shown from the third question item which states that the lack of auditee assistance in collecting audit evidence has an impact on auditor performance. Auditor performance is not solely shown by auditor independence. 2. Work experience does not influence internal auditor’s performance, this is because the majority of respondents work less than 3 years which causes their lack on experience in carrying-out assignments. 3. The Ethic’s code affects the performance of internal auditor because of the existence of a code of ethics as a guide for the auditor to know what is allowed and not to be done, in order to improve the internal auditor’s performance. 4. Independence, work experience, and code of ethics simultaneously (together) affect the performance of auditors at SAS PARTS Company. There has never been any other previous research on this research object of SAS PARTS Company about internal auditor’s performance.
