Abstract

Indonesia is known as a diverse country with a variety of religions, ethnicities, cultures, customs, and languages. However, behind this gift, there are differences in views in responding to issues, especially regarding religious issues. Differences in views will later give rise to acts of intolerance, hatred, extremism, and radicalism, and ultimately lead to divisions between religious communities. Therefore, as an effort to maintain harmony between religious communities, religious moderation, and mental revolution are present as effective steps that will give birth to solutions for maintaining the diversity that exists in Indonesia. This research aims to find verses from the Qur'an about mental revolution and religious pluralism as well as solutions to religious moderation in mental revolution to address the phenomenon of religious pluralism. By using qualitative research methods and literature, findings were produced as solutions for maintaining diversity in Indonesia, namely (1) Aligning Pancasila with Qur'anic values; (2) Diversity must be managed well; (3) Religious Leaders must Set a Good Example (Socio-Institutional Approach); (4) Prioritizing a sense of protecting the nation and state; (5) Taking a Cultural Approach (Dialogue)

The Lebak Regency spatial planning plan was prepared based on Lebak Regency Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2014 concerning the Lebak Regency Regional Spatial Plan for 2014-2034 with the aim of creating a highly competitive and sustainable Regency regional space based on agriculture, plantations, tourism and mining. To realize this, spatial planning is needed based on the principles of spatial planning contained in Article 2 of Law Number 26 of 2007 concerning Spatial Planning. Abstract

In the context of conflict, the responsibility to educate the public is not only in the hands of the government but also in the media institutions. Quality and objective media reports significantly contribute to increasing public literacy and knowledge. The problem is that news about conflict in online news media often emphasizes conflict controversy and the sadness of victims, but is incomplete and too short in explaining the conflict events that occurred. This research aims to reveal how the commodification of reporting on the Syrian conflict emerged and developed in online news media. This research data comes from online news published by hürriyet.com.tr as online news media. Data analysis was carried out using thematic analysis within the framework of a media political economy study which looks at the relationship between new media and conflict, the characteristics of news in online news media, as well as the tendency for the commodification of conflict news which can give negative impact on society in the long term. The results of the study show that in reporting on the Syrian conflict, economic interests are more prominent than the application of journalism principles which should be complete, this can be seen from the shortness of the news presented and the conflict that occurred is not presented holistically.

Abstract

For many countries, taxes are the main source of revenue to finance all expenditures, including the promotion of economic growth. To compare the tax systems of different countries, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has developed the International Tax Competitiveness Index (ITCI). This study examines Türkiye and Indonesia’s tax policies, focusing on their influence on economic competitiveness and tax neutrality. This study identifies the strengths and weaknesses of each country's tax system and provides recommendations for enhancing their competitiveness and neutrality. This study uses a comparative approach to analyse tax policies in Türkiye and Indonesia. The analysis reveals that a neutral tax code is crucial for economic growth and for attracting investment. Türkiye's tax system offers insights into efficient tax structures, with lower corporate tax rates and non-distortionary property taxes contributing to its higher ranking in the ITCI. Conversely, Indonesia's tax system presents opportunities for improvement by adopting similar practices. This study suggests that Indonesia could benefit from targeted tax incentives, better tax administration, and investment in tax education and training. Broadening the tax base and leveraging digital technologies for tax administration have been identified as key strategies to improve Indonesia's tax competitiveness. The study concludes that both Türkiye and Indonesia can enhance their tax systems by learning from each other and countries with high tax competitiveness rankings. By implementing the recommended measures, these countries can stimulate economic growth, investment, and achieve a more competitive and neutral tax

Abstract

Pineapple is a tropical fruit that has various benefits for human health. However, determining the ripeness of pineapple is not easy, especially for inexperienced consumers. This study aims to develop a computer vision system that can automatically identify the ripeness of pineapple based on its peel color and texture. We use the YOLO v8 algorithm, a state-of-the-art object detection model, to detect and classify pineapple images into three categories: unripe, ripe, and overripe. We collect and label our own dataset of 1386 pineapple images with different ripeness levels. We train and test the YOLO v8 model on our dataset using Google Colab. We evaluate the model’s performance using accuracy. The results show that the YOLO v8 model achieves an accuracy of 84.75%. These results indicate that the YOLO v8 model can effectively detect and classify pineapple ripeness with high accuracy and speed. This system can be useful for consumers, farmers, and retailers to select and purchase high-quality pineapples.

Abstract

This research pertains to the legal protection of third parties against lawsuits of Actio Pauliana resulting from losses due to the annulment of legal acts regarding debt payment transfer transactions settled by PT. SINAR MAS MULTIFINANCE. However, it turned out that the assets already paid entered into the bankruptcy estate. The author of this research employs a normative juridical method utilizing the Civil Code and Law Number 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations connected with the case under examination, with the aim of understanding the legal protection of third parties as bona fide purchasers according to the legal sources used to analyze Case Number 02/Pdt.Sus/Actio Pauliana/2017/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst. The research findings indicate that the resolution has fulfilled the elements within the provisions to settle Actio Pauliana cases in bankruptcy scenarios; however, the execution of the bankruptcy estate cannot be carried out by the commercial court as it falls within the jurisdiction of the District Court. The third-party fulfills the element of being a bona fide purchaser by making payment according to market value, unaware that the purchased goods were assets of the bankruptcy estate. Therefore, legal remedies that can be pursued include filing for Cassation and Judicial Review (PK). Suppose the third party fails in these legal processes. In that case, compensation shall be awarded in accordance with Article 49 paragraph (4) of Law Number 37 of 2004 concerning bankruptcy and PKPU becoming part of the creditors of PT. SUMBER URIP SEJATI UTAMA as concurrent creditors.
