Abstract

Hospital has a variety of facilities and services. Every day there are transactions recorded by the hospital in the form of documentation such as excel. Over time, if the transactions increase, the files that will be stored will be more and more large. Therefore, a website was created that can make it easier to manage data from these files. The web application is created using PHP and integrates with the MySQL database. The main module of the web application created is to import data from an excel file. The expected results from making this website are to make it easier for employees to manage data and view information in the form of tables or graphs. Data collection methods using observation, through interviews with the person in charge from hospital by giving a questionnaire about the interface of the application. Assessment of the results of interface improvements using a questionnaire from Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire version three, totalling 16 questions. The purpose of the User Interface and User Experience analysis is to assess and serve as a guide for improving the display that has been made whether it is in accordance with the standards requested by the hospital.

Abstract

Intercomparison was conducted to determine the ability and the performance of the laboratory. Intercomparison results are usually expressed in the range of En ratio values (En ?|1|) which express the equivalence of one laboratory with other laboratories. If the laboratory is declared unequal, then it needs to identify the source of the problem by itself. To make it easier, it can be done by Clustering which is one of the data mining techniques. Clustering is done by applying a self organizing map algorithm on the KNIME (Konstanz Information Miner) analytic tools. Several experiments were carried out with different layer size and data normalization status from one experiment to another experiment. The results were analyzed through pseudo F statistical test and icdrate test. The largest pseudo F statistic value was obtained from the 8th experiment (setting the layer size 2x2 without data normalization) with a pseudo F statistic value of 167.53 for 1kg artifacts and a Pseudo F statistic value of 104.86 for 200 g artifacts where the optimum number of clusters are 4. The smallest icdrate value was obtained from the 5th experiment (setting the 2x3 layer size without data normalization) with an icdrate value of 0.0713 for 1kg artifacts and icdrate value of 0.2889 for 200g artifacts with the best number of clusters being 6. From 12 laboratories can be grouped into 6 groups where each group has the same identification. There are groups 1, 3 and 6 have 1 member, while groups 2, 4 and 5 have 3 members.

Abstract

The existence of the Kereta Rel Listrik Commuter Line as the backbone of transportation in the Jakarta - Bogor - Depok - Tangerang - Bekasi - Banten area has a very important role for commuter mobility around Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta. With an average number of 1.1 million passengers per day, Kereta Rel Listrik is one of the factors supporting Indonesia's economy and growth in various sectors. On the other hand, the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world caused restrictions on human movement which resulted in a decline in all economic sectors. The purpose of this research is to obtain optimal train schedule recommendations for the operation of the Kereta Rel Listrik Commuter Line in the Rangkasbitung - Tanah Abang service to carry passengers optimally while adhering to the physical distancing protocol set by the Minister of Transportation to prevent the wider spread of Covid-19. With such a large amount of data that must be processed, Exploratory Data Analysis is one of the choices we take to process the above data to get satisfactory results.

Abstract

Maranatha Christian University Bandung is one of the universities in Indonesia that has a Faculty of Information Technology. In the Faculty of Information Technology there is an Informatics Engineering Study Program. The thing that underlies this research is that there is currently no integration between the Practical Work courses and the Final Project courses. For this reason, this research will try to analyze and design one application that will be carried out. The hope of this research is to help the process of submitting practical work topics and students' final assignments so that data is integrated and the recording process is better because it uses a web-based application. This application is a web-based application so it can be used anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Until now, wood has an irreplaceable function. Building materials, shipping, furniture, sports equipment, carvings and handicrafts using wood. Indonesia has more than 4,000 types of wood, so choosing the right wood is a challenge because choosing the wrong type of wood can make the quality of processed products decline and not as expected. In addition, proper identification of timber can also prevent illegal logging, especially on certain types of wood which are now increasingly scarce. Recognition to wood by looking directly is a difficult thing for ordinary people to do and can only be done by a wood expert, so it is necessary to find a method of recognizing wood that can be used by people independently. One method that can be used to identify type of wood is image processing based on characteristics of wood which include color, fiber direction and texture. This paper will describe recognition of wood-based image processing using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. This method is derived from Neural Networks with addition of an extraction layer feature, which can reduce free parameters that are not needed by the system. Wood image data used in this study are four types of wood that are often used as raw materials for making houses and furniture, namely Glugu, Teak, Sengon and Waru. Results of this study were able to recognize four types of wood with an accuracy of 95% in 600 epochs/iteration, so that it can be used as a simple, easy and inexpensive wood recognition system.

Abstract

White blood cells are cells that makeup blood components that function to fight various diseases from the body (immune system). White blood cells are divided into five types, namely basophils, eosinophils, neutrophils, lymphocytes, and monocytes. Detection of white blood cell types is done in a laboratory which requires more effort and time. One solution that can be done is to use machine learning such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) feature extraction. This study uses a dataset of white blood cell images that previously carried out a pre-processing stage consisting of cropping, resizing, and saliency. The saliency method can take a significant part in image data and. The SIFT feature extraction method can provide the location of the keypoint points that SVM can use in studying and recognizing white blood cell objects. The use of region-contrast saliency with kernel radial basis function (RBF) yields the best accuracy, precision, and recall results. Based on the test results obtained in this study, saliency can improve the accuracy, precision, and recall of SVM on the white blood cell image dataset compared to without saliency.

Abstract

Here a report of a development phase of an environment of high performance computing (HPC) using general purpose computations on the graphics processing unit (GPGPU) is presented. The HPC environment accommodates computational tasks which demand massive parallelisms or multi-threaded computations. For this purpose, GPGPU is utilized because such tasks require many computing cores running in parallel. The development phase consists of several stages, followed by testing its capabilities and performance. For starters, the HPC environment will be served for computational projects of students and members of the Faculty of Information Technology, Universitas Kristen Maranatha. The goal of this paper is to show a design of a HPC which is capable of running complex and multi-threaded computations. The test results of the HPC show that the GPGPU numerical computations have superior performance than the CPU, with the same level of precision.

Abstract

The process of stock opname of goods in a business is something that must be done regularly to control the business assets. The stock opname process generally requires a lot of money and time, especially in businesses that have many branch locations. During the implementation of stock opname, sales transactions are usually stopped so that the stock does not change. As a result, the longer the time for this process is required, the greater the loss. In addition, extra costs are also incurred when the implementing manager is sent to each branch location where the stock opname will be carried out. Due to the high costs and losses incurred, this stock opname is usually only done a few times a year. On the other hand, the low frequency of stock opname has an impact on increasing business losses due to loss of assets that cannot be detected early. This study aims to increase the effectiveness of the stock opname process to minimize losses that occur during the stocktaking process or losses due to delays in handling the loss of goods assets. The results of this study indicate that the new system design allows the stock opname process to be carried out remotely without the presence of a manager and without stopping sales transactions, so as to reduce operational costs. The frequency of stock opname can also be carried out more frequently so that if there is a loss of assets, it can be immediately identified and action is taken to avoid high business losses. The result of software testing using the Blackbox Testing method shows that the application can run well and the result of User Acceptance Testing shows the acceptance of respondents at 87%, which means that respondents accept the solutions offered well.

Abstract

Every educational institution provides scholarships that are offered to its students with specified requirements, as well as at SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati. Students who receive scholarships are students who meet the requirements and criteria that have been determined. The criteria determined are report cards, absenteeism, achievement, organizational involvement, and violations. However, some problems arise when determining the prospective recipients of achievement scholarships at SMKN 1 Sukawati, particularly many students who have achievements outside of school activities or non-academic achievements do not get scholarships. One of the criteria-set is to have achievement, which means achievement is not only academic achievement but also non-academic. The design of a system that can provide recommendations to decision makers is needed, so that it is right on target in providing opportunities for students who meet the criteria considered. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used in this study because it can choose the best alternative from several alternatives. The results obtained in this study in the form of ranking and then make a recommendation to receiving a scholarship.
