Abstract

As a learning center based on Information and Communication of Technology (ICT), the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology has an I-Gracias website, one of which has a PPM menu, the menu functions to enter research data, scientific publications and lecturers' internal community service so that they can be managed by the public. LPPM. Based on the survey that has been carried out, it is known that there are several problems with the I-Gracias PPM system, such as an unattractive and quite confusing system display, menus that do not work properly, processes that are still not efficient, functions that are needed and do not exist in the system, and the lack of socialization of the use of the system to lecturers with the main problem that there is no prioritization of the quality of system performance which includes aspects of usability, quality of information and quality of interaction. The results of the questionnaire show that 95% of respondents agree with the quality measurement of the I-Gracias PPM system. Website-based PPM systems need to be measured using a web testing method, namely the Website Quality method or what is called WebQual as a determinant of criteria for measuring system quality in this study. This study resulted in the value of measuring the quality of the system in accordance with the user's perception so that the organizers can find out and correct the deficiencies that exist in the system. Quality measurement is carried out using a website-based information system.

Abstract

Thalassemia is a hereditary disease that makes sufferers experience red blood cell abnormalities and must receive continuous blood transfusions throughout their lives. Gunung Jati Hospital, Cirebon City handles registration and scheduling of thalassemia patients with assistance from Perhimpunan Orang tua Penderita Talasemia Indonesia (POPTI). In handling patient data, it is necessary to have a system that facilitates all activities ranging from registration, scheduling, and make predictions about the patient's health condition along with recommendations for handling the patient's condition. The purpose of this study is to make a prediction system for health conditions related to thalassemia suffered by patients based on influencing variables using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method. This system can also handle patient data, scheduling, and storing patient medical recap data. The final results of this system are patient data, patient care schedules, predictions of patient health conditions, and recommendations for patients. Abstract

In-game currency can be used to purchase various in-game items, especially in online games. In addition, in-game currency is also widely traded by players in certain online games. This eventually causes the potential for scam in buying and selling in-game currency to increase. This happened because there is no place that can be used by players to do transactions safely. The purpose of this research is to design and develop an e-marketplace for in-game currency using the Extreme Programming method which consists of planning, design, coding, and testing stages. This in-game currency e-marketplace application will be developed using the Laravel framework, which is one of the open-source PHP frameworks. The result of this research is an e-marketplace application that can be used by in-game currency buyers or sellers to do buying and selling easily and safely. With this e-marketplace, buying and selling in-game currency transactions will be easier, faster, and also scam-free

Abstract

World University Ranking is a system tool that functions to measure and assess all the best universities around the world (World Class University) which aims to advance all Universities through websites owned by each University. There are several problems in choosing a college. The selection of campuses or State Universities (PTN) is still often a problem or obstacle for every prospective student and parent to choose further education for the future of their children, especially as we often know that there are many universities in Indonesia. Indonesia ranges from state universities to private universities. One of the efforts in the selection recommendations made to facilitate this is to conduct an assessment of the best PTN. In this study, the Simple AdditiveWeighting (SAW) method was applied to the best college recommendation system. The criteria used are Tuition Fees, Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Teaching, Research, and Citation. After the criteria are determined, the next process is theranking process of the existing alternatives. The results of each method can provide recommendations for students or parents in choosing a college.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities need to be interactive to increase children’s interest in learning. With the utilization of technology, there are so many learning tools had been made. One of them is Moodle. Moodle is a learning management system (LMS) application to support learning activity on electronic based (e-learning). The purpose of this research is to implement Moodle as LMS for mathematics learning on primary school children. By using Moodle, the lessons are delivered interactively for children to learn. This research will find out the influence of using this application towards the test score before and after using the application. T-Test analysis will be applied to analyze the differences. Besides analyzing the test score, questionnaires for the children who test the application will be given to know the effect of using the application for them. Based on the evaluation result using T-Test analysis, there were not any significant differences, but there were enhancements in average, highest, and lowest scores, along with the decrease in standard deviation. The result of correlation coefficient calculation between exercise frequency and quiz result was 0.2162, which meant that the correlation was weak or almost no correlation. Based on the questionnaire result, this application is considered helping children in understanding the subject.

Abstract

Informatics study program at Nurul Jadid University does not have a general concentration of knowledge, so that sometimes the selection of elective courses by students is not quite right. This study aims to classify the concentration of knowledge with a data mining approach which can then be used as a recommendation for selecting elective courses by students. In this study, we implement a machine learning algorithm to provide recommendations to students regarding what interests are more suitable to be taken based on the values ​​of prerequisite courses in previous semesters. Student data was obtained from the Head of the Center for Data and Information Systems (PDSI) at Nurul Jadid University with 70 student data from Nurul Jadid University batch 2018. The machine learning algorithm used is Neural Network with Python programming language, the tools used are Google Collab. At the beginning of data collection, then pre-processing is carried out to prepare the dataset in order to get good results, and model training is carried out. After training on the model, then further testing is carried out on the model to determine the performance of the model. The result of the accuracy value in the training model process is 0.83 or 83% and the accuracy of the test data is 0.79 or 79%.

Abstract

Facial recognition-based biometric authentication is increasingly frequently employed. However, a facial recognition system should not only recognize an individual's face, but it should also be capable of detecting spoofing attempts using printed faces or digital photographs. There are now various methods for detecting spoofing, including blinking, lip movement, and head tilt detection. However, this approach has limitations when dealing with dynamic video spoofing assaults. On the other hand, these types of motion detection systems can diminish user comfort. As a result, this article presents a method for identifying facial spoofing attacks through Convolutional Neural Networks. The anti-spoofing technique is intended to be used in conjunction with deep learning models without using extra tools or equipment. Our CNN classification dataset can be derived from the NUAA photo imposter and CASIA v2. The collection contains numerous examples of facial spoofing, including those created with posters, masks, and smartphones. In the pre-processing stage, image augmentation is carried out with brightness adjustments and other filters so that the model to adapt to various environmental conditions. We evaluate the number of epochs, optimizer types, and the learning rate during the testing process. The test results show that the proposed model achieves an accuracy value of 91.23% and an F1 score of 92.01%.

Abstract

Universities annually accept new students at the beginning of the new school year. In the acceptance of prospective students on the Seleksi Prestasi Akademik Nasional Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (SPAN PTKIN) di State Islamic University Of Sunan Ampel Surabaya, many prospective students who do not register will have an impact on income of the State Islamic University Of Sunan Ampel Surabaya institution. If the institution can find out early on the probability of a prospective student who will resign, then the management can take action to retain the prospective student. To overcome this, data mining classification can be carried out. The methods used in this classification are decision trees and naïve bayes. The number of students who did not re register compared to reregister resulted in the data being imbalanced. Data imbalances can affect the accuracy of the classification results. The imbalance of the data used can result in an unsuitable model. The solution to handle the data imbalance is to use the SMOTE and ADASYN oversampling methods. The purpose of this study was to compare performance of the SMOTE and ADASYN methods. The results show that the SMOTE method can balance the data in a balanced way compared to ADASYN. From the test results, the SMOTE method is more suitable to use than the ADASYN method because the ROCAUC SMOTE value is higher than ADASYN.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities at MAN 1 Lamongan are still determined without any support from the system. Students are only given extracurricular information and can register according to the conditions if interested. This makes the extracurricular that students have chosen does not fully match their abilities. The result is a decrease in the number of members who are active in extracurricular activities due to loss of interest. A web-based system was developed to assist MAN 1 Lamongan in determining extracurricular according to interests and talents. Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) is the system framework and Certainty Factor (CF) is the algorithm for determining the certainty value. The result is that with test data of 68 students, the system recommends extracurricular well. Testing with Confusion Matrix obtained precision level of 96.03% (high), recall of 99.4% (high), accuracy of 95.76% (high)

Abstract

Education providers, one of which is a private university in Bandung, conducts entrance exams for student participants through a computer-based test system. In the entrance examination, which is carried out is a test of academic potential and human biology. Every question that belongs to both the TPA and human biology questions is stored in the university's computer-based test system. The saved questions can be used at any time, during the entrance examination period. The stored questions need to be analyzed and reviewed, with the aim that the questions can be used properly and can maintain the quality of the questions given to each examinee. In this study, an analysis of the level of difficulty and effectiveness of the distractor will be carried out. This analysis is carried out using data from 2018 to 2020 stored in the system.
