Sadar Wisata: is an articulate publication journal of research results from lecturers or students in the field of tourism managed by the Hospitality Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Jember. This journal has been published since 2005 by the Muhammadiyah Jember Tourism Academy, but in 2018 the Jember Muhammadiyah Tourism Academy merged with the Muhammadiyah Jember University so that the Jember Muhammadiyah Tourism Academy turned into a Hospitality Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Jember. Tourism Tourism Science Journal receives articles or scientific works on research results in the field of Tourism such as Tourism Potential, Planning and Development of Tourism, Hospitality, Culinary and Hospitality Management and studies that are directly related to Tourism sciences.

Abstract

Pantai Tongaci Sungailiat is a tourist destination in The Province of Bangka Belitung which has various and adequate attraction and facility. However, the number of tourist visits in recent times has been decreased. This research was conducted with the aim of seeing and analyzing the influence of tourist attraction and facility on revisit decision at Pantai Tongaci Sungailiat. The research method that will be used in this research is a quantitative method with total sample of 397 respondents. Data will be collected using questionnaires, observations and interviews. The test method that will be using reliability and validity tests, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, partial test / t test, simultaneous test / f test and mean test. The results of the tests indicate that tourist attractions and facilities both partially and simultaneously have a significant and positive influence on revisit decision at Pantai Tongaci Sungailiat and Facility is a variable that is more dominant influence. Simultaneously, the influence given is 28,1%. The influence categorized as low category. Pantai Tongaci Sungailiat needs to pay attention to tourist attraction and existing facilities, also add some new inovations related to tourist attractions and facilities to increase tourist revisit decision to Pantai Tongaci Sungailiat.

Abstract

The increasing number of educational institutions in Indonesia makes its managers have to think hard in developing it. These managers need to make strategies so that their educational institutions can win the competition in the market. In addition, education managers also need to understand the interests and desires of prospective students. To find out how high the interest of students to go to college, research was conducted using the comparative causal method. The results showed that out of 1,120 respondents, as many as 84.6% or 948 students wanted to go to college, while 15.4% or 172 students did not want to go to college. Of the students who want to study, as many as 63.8% or 715 students are interested in studying in applied tourism graduates. The remaining 36.2% or 405 students did not want to study in tourism science. In the category of applied tourism undergraduates, as many as 16.3% or 182 students want to study tourism science, while 43.6% or 448 students want to study tourism business management. In addition, as many as 16.2% or 181 students want to study hospitality management, 13.8% or 155 students want to study in travel business management, and the rest, 10.2% or 114 students want to study in gastronomy. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that applied tourism graduates are the most popular choice for prospective students

Abstract

A hotel is a building that provides accommodation, food and drink, where guests who visit do not only aim to stay. Food and beverages are hotel products that provide the second largest input after rooms. Therefore, to remain competitive in the food and beverage sector, both with other hotels and restaurants, it is necessary to increase customer satisfaction with food and beverage products. In this study, we will discuss the influence of food product quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Ruby Restaurant Royal Hotel N' Lounge. This study aims to determine the variable quality of food products and customer satisfaction have an influence on customer loyalty and to determine the most dominant influence between food quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Respondents from this study were 100 guests of the royal n lounge hotel and were randomly selected. The research process begins with research instrument testing, interviews and distributing questionnaires to obtain primary and secondary data. The data that has been obtained is tested using multiple linear regression which is processed with SPFF software. The final stage in this research is the preparation of a final report based on the results of data analysis and scientific publications as the output of this research. This study resulted in the conclusion that there is an effect of food product quality on customer loyalty, there is an effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and there is a simultaneous effect of food product quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Ruby Restaurant Royal Hotel N' Lounge

Abstract

Tugu Khatulistiwa is a monument that was erected during the reign of the Dutch East Indies as a marker for the 0o point of the equator. Tugu Khatulistiwa is one of the most famous landmarks in Pontianak City. Tugu Khatulistiwa is currently managed by the Pontianak City Sports and Tourism Youth Service (Disporapar) through the City Government (Pemkot). The Pontianak City Disporapar has the responsibility to prepare and formulate technical policies in the field of attractiveness and management of facilities and infrastructure tourism destinations. The reason and purpose of this study is to analyze the 6A components, namely Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary, Activity, Accessibilities, Available Packages. The type of research used is qualitative research with data collection methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The analytical method used is triangulation and SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats) and SWOT Matrix. The results of the study show that there are 6A components at Tugu Khatulistiwa which are still not optimal because there are still big problems related to the amenities component, but for other attractions, ancillary, activities, accessibilities, & available packages can be increased again to increase the level of visits, needs, and tourist comfort.

Abstract

The Jember Branch of the PHRI Association (Persatuan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia) as a reference in this study to stakeholder partners and exclusively to hotel service entrepreneurs for reference when deciding policies to deal with hotel marketing strategies against the transitional conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and after. This research uses quantitative research methods. Hotel visitors in this study as a population. This research started from a survey with a test of research instruments. Furthermore, obtaining valid instruments, then conducting surveys to explore information through interviews and questionnaires to obtain primary data and secondary data. The data is processed using statistical processing applications. The next stage is to compile a final report based on the results of data analysis and scientific publications as the output of this research. The results of this study show that service quality has an influence on customer loyalty and satisfaction at Bintang IV Hotels in Jember Regency. Price has an influence on customer loyalty and satisfaction at the IV Star Hotel in Jember Regency. Customer satisfaction has an influence on customer loyalty and influences through the relationship between the influence of service quality and price on customer loyalty to the IV Star Hotel in Jember Regency

Abstract

The act when someone pay to get a certain product known as purchase decision. Purchase decisions are influenced by various factors, including brand image and product quality. The aims of this study was to analize the influence of brand image and product quality toward the decision made to buy at Sun Osing Beach Souvenir Center. The type of research applied in this study is a quantitative associative research. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling with 50 respondents. The research data processing used a statistical test tool, SPSS version 24. The results of data analized picture that partially brand image variable has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. On the other side, product quality variable does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test analysis shows that brand image and product quality have a simultaneous influence tourists purchasing decisions at Sun Osing Beach Souvenir Center

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of a tourism village in the form of teak wood stockpiling and used as a tourism sector by the Perhutani of Benculuk Village by empowering the surrounding community based on a sense of mission and a sense of commitment. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative, and the method of data collection is in the form of interviews conducted with informants who have an interest in managing Djawatan Tourism Village. Analysis of the data obtained was carried out through data collection, data verification, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the management of teak wood hoarding which is used as a Tourism Village in practical implementation is based on the ACTORS theory and Sense Of Mission and Sense Of Commitment with the aim of minimizing the unemployment rate of the surrounding community. Perhutani has a specific strategy for approaching the community in managing the teak wood stockpiling area so that it becomes a developing and advanced tourism village, so that the surrounding community becomes prosperous, lives happily, and avoids poverty

Abstract

Pasca pandemi Covid-19 berpengaruh pada semakin banyaknya objek wisata yang kembali dibuka. Pembangunan dan pengelolaan potensi wisata daerah pasca pandemi perlu dilakukan melalui penentuan strategi yang tepat guna meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembangunan Embung Pengantin pasca pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam (in depth interview), observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembangunan potensi wisata Embung Pengantin pasca pandemi Covid-19 berjalan kurang baik karena adanya masalah dan tantangan pada beberapa aspek sehingga mengakibatkan kesulitan bagi masyarakat pengelola dalam melakukan pembangunan wisata Embung Pengantin. Diperlukan strategi atau upaya khusus yang harus dilakukan oleh seluruh pemangku kepentingan guna mencapai keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan pembangunan wisata Embung sehingga nantinya dapat mendorong kembali peningkatan minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu industri yang punya peran besar dalam pengembangan ekonomi di Indonesia. Hal tersebut juga didukung dengan hadirnya para pelaku usaha di industri pariwisata baik dalam skala besar maupun SME. Di era digital saat ini, perkembangan industri pariwisata pun bergerak semakin cepat. Hubungan antara para pelaku industri secara digital maupun di lapangan yang kini terjalin menawarkan kemudahan bagi para wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara untuk bisa menikmati wisata di Indonesia.Market basket analysis adalah teknik penambangan data yang digunakan untuk mengungkap pola pembelian dalam bidang ritel apa pun. Tujuannya adalah memahami perilaku konsumen dengan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara barang-barang yang dibeli. Contohnya, konsumen yang membeli green tea juga akan cenderung membeli madu. Jadi, teknik ini secara kuantitatif akan menetapkan bahwa ada hubungan antara green tea dan madu

Abstract

Desa Curugrendeng merupakan salah satu desa potensial yang ada di Kecamatan Jalancagak, kabupaten subang. Desa Curugrendeng terletak di daerah pegunungan dan berbukit-bukit, berada pada ketinggian 500 m dari permukaan laut dengan jarak ke kota kecamatan yaitu 3 Km dan ke ibu kota kabupaten 17 Km. Sesuai dengan Topografi Desa Curugrendeng, terdapat sumber mata air bagi kehidupan masyarakat Desa Curugrendeng yaitu mata air Teja, Cicerewed dan Cimutan. Terdapat pula potensi daya tarik wisata yang ada di desa Curugrendeng yaitu air terjun (curug) Curugrendeng. Pengembangan potensi wisata air terjun di Desa Curugrendeng membutuhkan strategi yang tepat sasaran Selain dari curug ini pun terdapat beberapa objek yang bisa dijadikan potensi wisata, diantaranya pertanian sebagai kawasan agrowisata yaitu : Area Pertanian, Area Perkebunan, Area Peternakan, Lingkungan Seni Dan Upacara Ruwatan Bumi yang anggap sebagai Hari Krida Pertanian.. Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui potensi wisata daya tarik wisata air terjun di wilayah Desa Curugrendeng Di Kecamatan Jalancagak, Subang, Jawa Barat, Indonesia berdasarkan analisis SWOT 2) Menentukan strategi pengembangan daya tarik wisata air terjun di Desa Curugrendeng, Kecamatan Jalancagak, kabupaten subang. Penelitian Ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui rumusan strategi pengembangan daya tarik wisata air terjun menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Desa Curugrendeng memiliki potensi sumber daya alam berupa potensi alam (curug, pertanian, perkebunan), peternakan, lingkungan masyarakat, seni dan budaya yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai salah satu daya tarik wisatawan sebagai Desa wisata dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan dan berkonsentrasi pada peluang pengembangan produk, meningkatkan strategi promosi, dan bekerjasama dengan stakeholder. Daya tarik wisata yang diunggulkan dan menjadi nama serta identitas desa ini adalah air terjun Curugrendeng. 2) Strategi pengembangan daya tarik wisata air terjun oleh Desa Curugrendeng berupa pengembangan serta memperbaiki berbagai komponen meliputi atraksi wisata, aksesibilitas, fasilitas, kelembagaan, dan pelestarian lingkungan untuk meningkatkan wisatawan. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa potensi dan strategi wisata dilihat dari klasifikasi pengoptimalan pengelolaan masing-masing air terjun di Desa Curugrendeng. Selain itu strategi lainnya adalah peningkatan kapasitas SDM melalui pelatihan-pelatihan, menjalin kerjasama dengan kelembangaan, pemerintah daerah dan investor/stakeholder, pengembangan sarana prasarana berupa fasilitas umum dan infrastruktur, bantuan modal usaha, serta pengembangan Desa Curugrendeng dalam hal strategi branding/promosi secara efektif melalui media digital.
