Abstract

Kinds of urban transportation policy are used to overcome public transportation's problemin big cities. One of them is the development of public transportation based on railways.This policy has already implemented in J abodetabek as public transportation besides buses.The potency of J abodetabek railways development can be seen from the trends of passengersand land use patterns. In addition, the synergy of settlement area in cities and railwaysdevelopment can be seen as potency as well. The cooperation between PT.KA and privatecompanies has already exists and can be improved by considering the potency. The growthsof those settlements area refers to the regional planning which can take advantage fromthe railways track through on the area, conversely PT.KA will gain profit from the passengerswho stay in that area. This matter is explained in the study of The Synergy of UrbanRailways Network and Settlement Property conducted by Research and Development ofTransportation Agency in 2008.

Abstract

Transjakarta Buswatj is expected to be a mass public transport that can serve the people of Jakartaespecially in reducing the travel time. But aver time, the frequency of buswatj was unable to meet thedemand, causing the accumulation of passengers, especially during peak hours. That problem couldbe avercome btJ increasing the fleet of buses which is the headway can be shortened, but the tariff mustbe increase to rover the operating cost. The analysis of the data indicate that for 57.73% of respondentswilling to use busway rates to Rp 3,500 with 10-minute headway. If the tariff was raised to Rp4,000 with 9 minutes headwm;, only 45.2% of respondents willing to use the busway. In otherwords, respondents were only considering the rates and did not make headwm; and indicate that thepassenger of buswai; is mostly who move from other public transport.Keywords: Transjakarta, busway, headway, tarif

Abstract

Kepulauan Seribu is a small-islands cluster's region. It has to be seen as an integrated region in whichsea transportation plmjs a major role in accelerating regional economtj and as a connector as well. Tirelimitation of transportation has its implimtion to the constraint of senrices and goods distnbutions.As a matter of fact, tlrere' s a tendene1; for the local peopl.e to prauide their own trnnsportntion in orderto fulfill tlreir needs. Meanwhile one of the main rol.e of the gonmrnient as a publlic seniant is toprovide mass transportntion for tlze citizen. As indicated biJ tire conditions above with tire purpose oftransportation impravenrent in order to develop integrated small islands cluster's regional therefore,this research is conducted using Integrated Cmstnl Zone Mnnagenrent (ICZM) as an approach. Tireresult of tire study slwwed that almost 90% respondents are not satisfied for tire transportationoperational and 50% respondents quite satisfied for the port facilities. In addition, biJ conducting LQanalysis Kepulauan Senbu identified !ms big potentinl from its fishing sector and from SWOT analysistlrere are sonre strategies identified wlziclz di"liideri into four aspects; transportntion SIJStem, law,regional and public.

Abstract

BasU: infrastructure for passenger aircraft is passenger terminal building. The increase in the numberof passengers at airports by Sultan Babullah necessarily requires an increase in the service of passengers,namely the development of passenger terminals or through optimization of the existing infrastnicture.From the data processing, estimated passenger Babullah Sultan Ternate Airport in 2014 will amountto 643,756 people, with the number of passengers at peak hours as mam; as 202 people. VVith resultslike these, then in 2014 the passenger terminal area required by the Sultan of Ternate BabullahAirport is 2828 m2.

Abstract

"Operation of Train traffic commuting Surabaya - Sidoarjo is one attempt to serve the needs ofrommuter transportation for residents who hm:e to commute daily between the dties of Surabatp andSidoarjo to run its activities. This studt; aims to determine the characteristics of the Railwm; passengertraffic commuting Surabm;a - Sidoarjo. Data was collected bt; interview survet; to passengersRailroad commuting traffic Surabm;a - Sidoarjo with a sample of 100 respondents. RespondentsSUrvetjed trere passengers departing from heading to Surabat;a Sidoarjo. The survet; was conductedat the Rm1WatJ Station and in Sidoarjo on weekdays during peak hours/ peak periods. The result ofdescriptive analysis showed that the majorihJ of passenger train commuting is aged 21-30 years(31%), jobs are private emplatps (75%), monthly income is Rp. 1.5 million -Rp. 2 million (34%),the purpose of the trip was to work (90% ), vehicles used before you use commuter rail is a motomjde(66%) and reasons for using rommuter rail is a rost (41%) and time (33%)."
