Abstract

This study investigates the adoption and integration of mobile learning technologies in Afghanistan universities, aiming to assess the current status, challenges, opportunities, and perceptions surrounding mobile learning initiatives in these institutions. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing surveys distributed via Google Forms to gather data from stakeholders. A sample size of 200 students and educators across various disciplines and geographical locations within Afghanistan universities was utilized. The results section presents various findings, including gender distribution among students, reliability and validity measures of study aspects, adoption rates of mobile learning technologies, perception of infrastructure availability, extent of existing initiatives, integration into the curriculum, satisfaction with accessibility, and perception of effectiveness and accessibility. Noteworthy results include equitable gender representation in enrollment, robust reliability and validity measures, higher adoption rates of mobile learning technologies among female respondents, positive perceptions of infrastructure availability and existing initiatives, moderate integration into the curriculum, and generally satisfactory accessibility. However, disparities exist in the perception of effectiveness and accessibility between genders, highlighting areas for improvement. In conclusion, the study provides valuable insights into the current landscape of mobile learning in Afghan public universities, underscoring the importance of addressing gender disparities and technological barriers to further enhance educational outcomes. Recommendations for future research and implications for stakeholders are discussed, emphasizing the need for gender-sensitive approaches and targeted interventions to maximize the potential of mobile learning technologies in advancing higher education in Afghanistan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the conception profile of MAN 1 Malang students on the subject matter of kinematics based on gender using multiple choice tests. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. This research was conducted on 94 students (47 male and 47 female students) of MAN 1 Malang. Quantitative data was obtained from the score of correct answers from students when answering questions. The method used was survey method. After the validation test and reliability test, there were 20 questions categorized as valid and could be used for research. The questions that passed the test were then given to students to do in the form of a written test. The results showed that students' understanding of the concept of kinematics was categorized as very low. This is due to the average student concept understanding score of 24.04. Based on the data analysis that has been done, it is concluded that there is no difference in concept understanding between male students and female students.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the Annual Conference of Education, Culture, and Technology (ACECT) 2022 using the Outcome-Based Evaluation (OBE) model. This evaluation aims to measure the results achieved, identify obstacles faced, and provide recommendations for future improvements. The evaluation results showed that the conference succeeded in improving the quality and quantity of scientific publications, with 48 papers published in Sinta accredited journals and 120 other papers in the Proceeding e-Book. Participant satisfaction with the organization of the conference reached 85%, although there were some obstacles such as limited presentation time, technical problems, and the length of the paper assessment process. Expert opinions emphasized the importance of adequate time allocation, thorough technical preparation, and an efficient evaluation process. Overall, the conference made a positive contribution to the participants' academic and professional development, and enhanced the academic reputation of the participating institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Liqaul Amal teacher competency. Teacher competencies including pedagogical, personality, social and professional are analyzed through observations and interviews with teachers at the school. Observation results show that teachers at MI Liqaul Amal apply pedagogical competence by understanding the characteristics of students, mastering learning theories, and organizing educational learning. In addition, strong personality competence is reflected in a high work ethic and awareness of the teacher's professional code of ethics. Teachers also demonstrate social competence with an inclusive attitude and effective communication within the school and community. On the other hand, professional competence is seen in mastering subject matter and developing creativity in learning. The school principal's democratic leadership supports the implementation of this competency by prioritizing cooperation and mutual prosperity. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the implementation of teacher competency at MI Liqaul Amal and its contribution to the quality of education at the school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine vehicle power in submarine vehicle design using regression analysis and enhance Students understanding of the simple pendulum concept. In this experiment, tests were conducted to analyze the relationship between various variables such as speed, force, and vehicle mass in relation to the power generated. The regression analysis results revealed a significant correlation between the applied force on the vehicle and the speed achieved, which was then used to calculate the required power for submarine vehicle design. Additionally, the study seeks to provide students with a deeper understanding of fundamental physics concepts, particularly the simple pendulum, by applying these concepts in the context of submarine vehicles. This research is expected to contribute to physics education and practical applications in vehicle design through regression-based analysis.
