Abstract

In Islamic education, the formation of character al-kharimah, faith and piety to Allah SWT is one part of the objectives of the Islamic education curriculum. The formation of Ahlak al-karimah is very important in the context of forming the character and personality of a good Muslim according to the demands of the Qur'an and al-Hadith in order to achieve a happy and prosperous life both in this world and in the hereafter. Another fact that occurs in today's millennial generation is that they prefer to play using technology in their hands such as cellphones than chatting face-to-face with friends, family or other people, even when they are together they prefer to use their cellphones rather than talking directly to people. who is in front of him. Even worse, this situation also applies when they are dealing with their parents. When their parents say something or discuss it with them, it turns out that they prefer to fiddle with their cellphones rather than pay attention to what their parents say. The research method was carried out in a descriptive qualitative way with the results of the study concluding that the Millennial Generation in the Togoliua village mostly did not understand Islamic education so that it was necessary to provide guidance so as not to cause mistakes and moral ugliness.

Abstract

This principle of the Qur'an in its grounding level has experienced the opposite image. Islam as a religion is often accused of being a source of conflict with religious nuances. Why do acts of violence [terror or destruction] against ideologically different groups always use religious normative arguments to justify that the acts of violence they commit are scientifically correct? This paper starts with the problem, namely what is the concept of Teo-homo Ecosystem, what is the concept of Prosperity and Welfare?, What is Af'alu Al-Khmsa and Human Rights like? And How Are the Four Pillars Towards Rahmatan Lil Alamin (Science, Superior Humanity, Faith-Islam and Ikhsan, A Just Social System)? The results of the study show that the Islamic idea of peace is a very basic and deep thought because it is closely related to the character of the Islamic religion, and is even a universal Islamic thought about nature, life, and humans. This ukhuwwah prioritizes common ground and distances points of difference in order to create a harmonious, safe, serene, and peaceful life (rahmatan lil 'alamîn).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nature of humans as Jasadiyah-Ruhiyah creatures and the duties of the caliphate with the focus of the discussion being seen from the philosophy of Islamic education. The results showed that humans with all the completeness given by Allah SWT in the form of body and spirit will always interact with their environment. From these interactions, humans will use the hearts and minds of humans so that they will produce an action and reaction for the human itself. Human actions and reactions can be either positive or negative. This is where the role of education for humans is needed. This education will later direct humans to a thought and action whether what he does is bad or is a good thing.

Abstract

The rapid transformation of education in the 21st century demands approaches that move beyond traditional, teacher-centered instruction toward models that are more student-centered, experiential, and contextually relevant. In Indonesia, this shift is embodied in the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), which emphasizes curriculum flexibility, local contextualization, and the active role of teachers in adapting instruction to students’ needs and environments. Within this context, John Dewey’s philosophy of progressive education, which underscores learning through experience, critical reflection, and social engagement, offers an important theoretical foundation for understanding and strengthening contemporary pedagogical practices. This study aims to examine the relevance of Dewey's educational philosophy to the implementation of contextual learning within the Independent Curriculum by employing a qualitative descriptive approach based on library research. Drawing on analyses of Dewey’s seminal works, educational policy documents, scholarly publications, and documented examples of curriculum application in schools such as SMAN 10 Kota Ternate, SDN Tomagoba Tidore, and SLB Sofifi in North Maluku, the study finds that Dewey’s principles—learning by doing, real-life experience, and student-centered engagement—are strongly reflected in current practices of contextual learning. The documented evidence highlights positive outcomes, including increased student motivation, active participation, and improved effectiveness of the learning process. These findings affirm the enduring relevance of Dewey’s educational philosophy in addressing the demands of 21st-century education and underscore the necessity of sustained policy support and continuous professional development for teachers to ensure the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of deep learning training on teachers' abilities in developing interactive teaching modules at MAN Insan Cendekia West Halmahera. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, with all teachers who participated in the training (n = 25) as samples. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure teachers' abilities, a perception questionnaire to determine teachers' assessment of the training, and observations of the practice in creating interactive teaching modules. The results showed that the average teacher pre-test score of 56.2 increased to 80.6 in the post-test, with an average increase of 24.4 points or 43.4%, which was statistically significant (p < 0.05). Teachers also stated that the training was useful, relevant, and easy to implement in the learning process. Practical observations showed that teachers were able to create interactive teaching modules with media integration, adaptive quizzes, and animations that facilitate student understanding. These findings indicate that deep learning training is effective in improving teachers' skills and confidence in developing technology-based teaching modules. This research has important implications for teacher capacity development and learning innovation in schools.
