Abstract

The influence of short film media on the Paniradiya Kaistimewan YouTube channel on the short story writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Maingping. This study aims to determine the influence of short film media on class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Malingping. This study was conducted based on the problem of low short story writing skills in high school students which is characterized by students having difficulty writing short stories. This study aims to determine the difference in the influence of writing skills of students who learn using short film media with students who use digital image media. The method in this study uses the Quantitative method. The population and sample in this study were class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Malingping as many as 2 classes selected randomly or Random Sampling. The instrument used in this study was a short story writing ability test. The test used was a question-type test. Based on the results of the data analysis, the results of this study concluded: There is a difference in the influence of the ability to write news texts of students who learn using short film media with students who learn using digital image media. The ability to write short stories of students who receive short film learning is better than students who learn using digital image media. This can be seen from the results of the hypothesis test, namely by using the Independent Samples Test which was obtained from a sig value of 0.021 <0.05, meaning that the variance between groups is not the same. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the increase in the Influence of Short Film Media on the Ability to Write Short Stories of High School Students

Abstract

Analysis of expressive and directive speech acts in the film "Guru-Guru Gokil" by Sammaria Simanjuntak and their use as teaching materials in high school. Indonesian and Regional Literature Language Education Study Program, Undergraduate Program (S1) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mathla'ul Anwar University, Banten. This research aims to analyze expressive and directive speech acts in the film "Guru-Guru Gokil" by Sammaria Simanjuntak and explore their use as teaching materials at the Senior High School (SMA) level. Expressive speech acts refer to statements that reflect the speaker's feelings or emotions, while directive speech acts involve actions that influence the listener's behavior or response. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques using listening techniques, data transcripts, note taking steps, analysis steps. The total data that the author has obtained is 61 data, expressive speech acts, namely 30 utterances consisting of praising 8 utterances, saying thank you 8 utterances, saying sorry 7 utterances, congratulating 2 utterances, saying hello 4 utterances, and blaming 1 utterance. 31 directive speech acts consisting of commanding 20 utterances, ordering 1 utterance, requesting 5 utterances, and giving advice 5 utterances. Apart from that, this research can be used as teaching material in class XI high school with drama text material.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of 3M techniques on class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Cijaku. This research was conducted based on the problem of the low ability to write news texts in high school students, which is characterized by students having difficulty in working on questions that are different from those modeled by their teachers. This research aims to determine the difference in the influence of the writing ability of students who learn using the 3M technique and students who use the Outline technique. The method in this research uses quantitative methods. The population and sample in this research were class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Cijaku in 2 classes selected randomly or Random Sampling. The instrument used in this research was a news text writing ability test. The test used is a question type test. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of this research concluded: There is a difference in the influence of the ability to write news texts on students who learn using the 3M technique and students who learn using the Outline technique. The ability to write news texts for students who learn the 3M technique is better than students who learn using the Outline technique. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements and character education values ​​in the novel "Orang-Orang Biasa" by Andrea Hirata and explore its use as a TPACK-based teaching material. This research method uses a qualitative description method using content analysis techniques, to identify and examine the meaning of the intrinsic elements and character education values ​​in the novel. Based on the results of the analysis, the novel Orang-Orang Biasa by Andrea Hirata contains character education values ​​such as responsibility, care, respect, discipline, patriotism and nationalism. The intrinsic structure of the novel includes the theme of life's struggle, with a plot that raises social conflict. The characters in the novel show an attitude of solidarity and courage in facing various challenges. As a TPACK-based teaching material, technology such as Canva can be used to make it easier for students to understand and analyze the structure and character values ​​in the novel interactively. This study is recommended as a learning material for Indonesian language and literature to improve students' understanding of the intrinsic structure and character education values ​​in literary works, especially the novel Orang-Orang Biasa. Through the TPACK approach, this learning can strengthen literacy skills, technology, and literature teaching in schools, as well as encourage the development of positive character in students.

Abstract

This research analyzes the social and cultural values in the YouTube channel "Dongeng Kita" edition of Banten and West Java folk tales, as well as its use as teaching material for Indonesian Language and Literature in high school. This research was carried out based on a qualitative approach with descriptive methods that focused on content analysis. Based on the research results, it was found that the social values in these folk tales include compassion, responsibility and harmony in life. These values support the formation of student character, such as caring, discipline and harmony. Apart from that, analysis of cultural values shows that there are values related to humans' relationships with God, nature, fellow humans and themselves. These cultural values are important in strengthening students' local identity and increasing their understanding of Indonesia's cultural heritage. The use of folklore from the YouTube channel "Dongeng Kita" as teaching material is considered effective in increasing student involvement in learning. Interesting animated content makes it easier for students to understand the material, while the social and cultural values conveyed through folklore are relevant to character formation and cultural education in schools. By using digital media, this research concludes that the integration of folklore into Indonesian Language and Literature learning in high school can provide a more contextual, interesting learning experience and support the preservation of local culture

Abstract

This study was conducted using the copy the master strategy of class XI students in the 2024/2025 Academic Year as the population. The samples taken were classes XI.1 and XI.2 with a total of 64 students. The sampling technique used Random Sampling. The data obtained showed that the average posttest score for the experimental class was 87.53 with a standard deviation of 6.064, while the average posttest score for the control class was 69.72 with a standard deviation of 2.774. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.005.Thus, the copy the master strategy is declared effective in improving poetry writing skills compared to the thik, talk, write learning strategy applied in the control class. A significant difference can be seen from the average posttest score, where the experimental class obtained an average of 87.53, while the control class only got 69.72. Based on this data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the copy the master strategy has a greater positive impact on students' poetry writing skills compared to the think, talk, write strategy which is considered sufficient in learning strategies

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the narrative structure in the novel Negeri Para Bedebah by Tere Liye, describe the rhetorical language style in the novel Negeri Para Bedebah by Tere Liye, and use the narrative structure and rhetorical language style in the novel Negeri Para Bedebah by Tere Liye as teaching materials in high school. . This research uses a qualitative descriptive type or approach, literature study methods and content analysis techniques. The steps used by researchers in collecting data are as follows: (1) outline the parts that are considered important, (2) select the data, (3) provide a description, (4) draw conclusions. The most dominant discussion result of the narrative structure in the novel Negeri Para Bedebah by Tere Liye is the orientation section, namely 149 quotations. The results of the discussion in the analysis of rhetorical language styles are dominant in the erotic language style or rhetorical questions, namely 16 quotations. The forty-eight data studied can be used as learning material for Indonesian language and literature in the independent curriculum in high school class XII. The Influence of Powtoon Media on Descriptive Text Writing Skills in Grade VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Cijaku, Lebak Regency. Thesis. Banten. 2024.This study aims to determine the influence of Powtoon Media on the skill of writing description texts in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Cijaku, Lebak Regency. This research was conducted based on the problem of low descriptive text writing skills in junior high school students which is characterized by students having difficulty in doing problems that are different from those exemplified by their teachers. The method in this study uses a quantitative method. The population and sample of this study are grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Cijaku as many as 2 classes that are randomly selected or Random Sampling. The instrument used in this study is a test of writing skills in descriptive text. The test used is in the form of a question type test. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of this study were concluded: there was a difference in the influence of description text writing skills of students who learned using Powtoon media and students who learned using Canva media. The skills of writing description texts of students who learned Powtoon media were better than those of students who learned using canva media. This can be seen from the results of the hypothesis test, namely by using an independent samples test obtained from a value of 0.21 <0.05, which means that the variance between groups is not the same. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the increase in the influence of Powtoon media on the writing skills of junior high school students' description texts

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on the ability to write observation report texts of class X students of SMAN 6 Pandeglang. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were class X of SMAN 6 Pandeglang. The instrument used in this study was a test of writing skills of observation report texts. The test used was a written test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was a difference in the effect of writing skills of observation report texts between students who studied using the problem based learning model and students who studied using the discovery learning model. The writing skills of observation report texts of students who studied using the problem based learning model were better than students who studied using the discovery learning model. This can be seen from the results of the t-test which showed significant results in improving the writing skills of observation report texts of class X students of SMAN who studied using the problem based learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure and linguistic rules in a collection of 5 drama scripts that won the competition and their use as teaching materials in MTS. Researchers analyzed the structure and linguistic rules in depth using descriptive qualitative methods. Data sources were obtained through reading and note-taking methods and then analyzed using the theory of intrinsic structure by Mardelina. The theory of intrinsic structure consists of theme, message, plot, character, dialogue, background, language, interpretation. And the rules of language by Kosasi and Kurnia which consist of chronological conjunctions, verbs describing events, verbs describing feelings and thoughts, and words that use nature, atmosphere, characters, places. Based on the results of the description of the analysis of the structure and linguistic rules in a collection of 5 drama scripts that won the competition, there are elements of theme, message, plot, character, dialogue, background, language, interpretation and chronological conjunctions, verbs describing events, verbs describing feelings and thoughts, and words that use nature, atmosphere, characters, places. This study is recommended to be considered as a reference material to improve students' abilities in appreciating literary works, especially drama scripts, and can improve literature teaching in schools.
