Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the principle of politeness in the speech acts of adolescents in Pagedangan Village, Pasar Kemis sub-district. The background of this research is to show whether the youth's speech contains politeness maxims or not, because usually the language used by children today is not effective and does not attach importance to the politeness element in it. The object of this research is in the form of utterances or conversations carried out by teenagers in Pagedangan Village, Pasar Kemis District. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research procedure used data collection techniques in the form of audio recording techniques, listening techniques, note-taking techniques, and documentation techniques. Based on the research that has been done, the researchers found that there were maxims that were violated by the teenagers. When the discussion was carried out, the maxim that often appeared was the maxim of compatibility and the maxim that rarely appeared was the maxim of sympathy. In speech events at Karang Taruna meetings, speech acts are often encountered which reflect impoliteness in Indonesian. Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe data about "The Narrative Structure and Value of Character Education in the film MARS (Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta) by Aishworo Ang and its use as teaching materials in high school". This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data obtained in this study are in the form of sentences in the form of conversations between characters. The source of data in this study is the conversation in the film. The data collection technique used the note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used the content analysis method (content analysis). The results of this study are the narrative structure and the value of character education. The narrative structure is 1). orientation, 2). complications, 3). resolution and 4). code while the value of character education is 1). religious, 2). honestly, 3). hard work, 4). love the motherland, 5). appreciating achievements, 6). social care and 7). responsibility. Implementation of Narrative Structure and Character Education Values in Aishworo Ang's MARS Film as Teaching Materials in SMA Class XI 2013 Curriculum in KD 3.18 identifies storylines, chapter by act and conflicts in dramas that are read or watched. The validation in this study shows that the narrative structure and character education values in Aishworo Ang's MARS film are worthy of being used as Indonesian language learning materials in high school.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find the form of grammatical cohesive lingual units contained in the Banten News Online News text. (2) Finding the form of lingual unit that has Lexical Cohesion in the Banten News Online News text (2) Describing the relationship between the meanings of the Cohesive lingual unit form in the Banten News Online News text (3) Describing the use as teaching materials in Indonesian language learning in secondary schools Upper (junior high). This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The source of data in this study is news text from online media Banten news. The data analysis technique used the literature review method. The data collection technique uses the listen and note method because the data is in the form of written data. The step begins with listening to all data sources, then by recording the data. The validity used in this study is triangulation theory. Cohesion analysis was carried out on 31 online news texts on the Banten News website. The results of the study collected as many as 940 data on the form of grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion. From this research it is concluded that grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion have a very important role in the cohesive element of a discourse, one of which is news text. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to identify and describe the religious and social values ​​contained in the collection of short stories "Call of the Apostles" by Hamsad Rangkuti and their use as teaching materials in high school. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The data source used in this study is a collection of short stories called the Apostles' Call by Hamsad Rangkuti. The technique used in data collection uses reading and note-taking techniques. Based on the results of the study found religious values, namely the value of faith in God found as many as 2 data, the value of piety to Him 5 data, the value of repentance 1 data, the value of halal 1 data, the value of haram 1 data, the value of makruh 2 data, the value of permissible 1 data, the value of patient 1 data, humble value 2 data, tawakal value 2 data, honest value 3 data, sincere value 2 data, and discipline value 1 data. In the social value, the value of service was found as many as 5 data, the value of helping 2 data, the value of family 1 data, the value of loyalty 1 data, the value of caring 5 data, the value of having 2 data, the value of discipline 3 data, the value of empathy 1 data, the value of justice 1 data , and the value of cooperation 3 data. Abstract

Literary psychology is a literary study that views literary works as a psychological activity. Studying literature basically discusses various values of life related to the formation of individual characters, because in teaching literature plays a role in developing personality, language, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor as well as developing social personality. This study aims to describe the melancholic, choleric, phlegmatic, and sanguine personalities of the four characters in the novel Kata using a qualitative descriptive research method. The data source used is the novel Kata by Rintik Sedu. The data in this study are excerpts from sentences in the novel Kata by Rintik Sedu. From the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that in the novel Kata by Rintik Sedu there is a personality structure that focuses on melancholy, choleric, phlegmatic, and sanguine in the four characters namely Binta, Nugraha, Biru, and Cahyo and there are character education values namely religious, nationalist, independent. Mutual cooperation, and integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social and cultural values ​​in the Filosofi Kopi novel by Dee Lestari and the use of the Filosofi Kopi novel by Dee Lestari as a teaching material for learning to read novels in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Malingping. This study uses the type or research approach of Literature Studies. The steps used by researchers in collecting data are as follows: (1) outline the parts that are considered important, (2) select data, (3) provide a description, (4) draw conclusions. Sociological approach with content analysis strategy. The results of data analysis of social values ​​and cultural values ​​in the novel Filosofi Kopi by Dee Lestari and their use as teaching materials can be explained that the novel contains social and cultural values ​​and can be used as teaching materials in high school. The social values ​​found in the novel consist of 3 quotes of love. Empathy 5 quotes. Cooperation 2 quotes. Concern 3 quotes. Please help 3 quotes. Responsibilities 2 quotes. While the cultural values ​​found are honest 2 quotes. Hard work 5 quotes. Creative 2 quotes. Independent 2 quotes. Curiosity 3 quotes. As for the relevance to being used as teaching material, the novel is worthy of being taught in high school because: learning about values ​​in a novel is at the KD 5.1 high school level. Explains the intrinsic elements of reading fragments of the novel. As researchers and educators, efforts should be needed in teaching students to apply the values ​​contained in literary works in social life.

Abstract

This study discusses the semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes' theory which includes three dimensions, namely Denotation, Connotation and Myth (myth). The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation and myths in the Good Day Coffee advertisement. The research results obtained by Good Day Coffee version "Rizky Febian & Tiara Andini" are considered good, interesting, creative, liked by consumers, enhance character, easy to remember, and describe the message of Good Day Coffee in general. As a beverage product, Good Day Coffee is considered quite successful in marketing. Good Day Coffee advertisements also often appear on television, especially during broadcast hours of featured television programs, one of which is the "Rizky Febian & Tiara Andini" version of the Good Day Coffee advertisement, the meaning of the advertisement can be seen using Roland Barthes' theory.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the structure of the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye and the value of character education and its use as teaching material in schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the results of the analysis in the form of the structure and value of character education in the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye which is then used as learning material for Indonesian Language and Literature in Schools. Abstract

This study discusses the Sundanese identity of the Cisolok people, Sukabumi in terms of dialectology and geographical factors that influence it. This study aims to find out how language identity and geographical influence. This research uses a descriptive method because it requires existing data as it is or is an interpretation of what it is. The results of this research explain that Cisolok Sundanese has become a language identity in the Cisolok area with its Sundanese language resembling Sundanese Banten, its loud, swaying and clear dialect at the end of syllables and geographical location or environmental factors in the Cisolok area affect the language of speakers in the local community. With a coastal location, bordering the Banten area and close to the mountains.

Abstract

Analysis of language errors is a process of investigating the use of language in both speech and writing. Analysis of language errors can be carried out by analyzing in the areas of refined spelling errors, word formation and choice errors, sentence construction errors, paragraph errors and discourse errors. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe language errors at the syntactic level in outdoor media in zone five Pandeglang district. In addition to the research objectives above, the authors also make efforts to find improvements so that they can obtain common understanding and views so as to avoid misinterpretation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research was conducted based on observations of places with outdoor media in the Pandeglang district, namely the districts of Menes, Patia, Sukaresmi, Panimbang, and Labuan. Concrete steps in this research include collecting error samples, identifying errors, explaining errors, classifying types of errors, analyzing errors, and evaluating errors. As for the results obtained in general, there are errors in writing words in phrases, mistakes in writing foreign words in phrases, and ambiguity errors in phrases.
