Abstract

The urgency of the IAIN Parepare library for tarbiyah faculty students is one of the places to study and add insight. With the existence of a library, students can use the container to be used as a recreation area and look for reading references to support their literacy. This research is a type of qualitative research. The targets in this study were tarbiyah faculty students and library managers at IAIN Parepare. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews, equipped with data analysis techniques using data reduction and data presentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The use of libraries to improve student literacy at the Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Parepare, namely library development is a student need. 2) Increasing the literacy of Tarbiyah students of IAIN Parepare through the use of libraries, namely literacy as a supplement to improve students' mindsets and reasoning

Abstract

There is an increase and decrease in the value of the company from year to year, many factors affect the value of the company including: company size and dividends. This study aims to prove the effect of firm size and dividends partially and simultaneously in explaining the rise and fall of firm value. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method that the author uses in this research research uses numerical data or numbers. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by using statistical tests, namely t test, F test, and adjusted R square. The results of this study indicate that the results of the t test obtained t arithmetic generated by the variable company size of -3.157 and the dividend variable of -1.446 with a significant level of 0.003 and 0.156, respectively. The results of the significance of 0.003 <0.05, which means that the firm size variable has a negative and significant effect on firm value, and 0.156 > 0.05, which means that it has no partial effect on firm value. The results of the F test obtained that the calculated F is 6.425 with a significance level of 0.004 <0.05, which means that simultaneously, firm size and dividends have an effect on firm value. The adjusted R square test was obtained at 0.201 or 20.1%. This shows the ability to contribute variables of firm size and dividends to firm value by 20.1%. And so that it is influenced by other variables outside the model such as: managerial ownership, institutional ownership, capital structure, profitability, company growth.

Abstract

Based on the need for a profile of graduates who are qualified in the field of entrepreneurship, with the aim of achieving the learning targets of the curriculum, preliminary observations were designed which have led to the stages of this research. This descriptive research is arranged in such a way using quantitative methods, which will be carried out directly on the object under study. This is intended to obtain valid data needed, one of which is by using a questionnaire (questionnaire).The results in this study are first, there is a significant positive effect on the motivation variable on the variable interest in entrepreneurship in Islamic Banking students IAIN Langsa 2015 and 2016. The results of the T test which shows the t-count value is greater than the t-table value, namely of 7.620 > 1.98260. Second, there is no positive and significant effect on the self-efficacy variable on the variable interest in entrepreneurship in Islamic Banking students at IAIN Langsa class of 2015 and 2016. Third, there is a significant positive effect on the family environment variable on the variable of interest in entrepreneurship in the FEBI Islamic Banking IAIN Langsa students class 2015 and 2016. Fourth, there is a significant positive effect on the variables of motivation, self-efficacy, family environment simultaneously (together) on the variable interest in entrepreneurship in the FEBI Islamic Banking students of IAIN Langsa class of 2015 and 2016. This is evidenced by the results of the F test which shows the f value. count is greater than the f-table value, namely 145,097> 2.6.

Abstract

This article focuses on the managerial competence of principals. More specifically, it discusses the planning, implementation, monitoring and obstacles in improving the quality of education in vocational high schools in Samarinda City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Observation, interview and documentation techniques were used to collect data, then analyzed through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the principal's managerial competence planning is carried out based on the vision, mission, school goals, and needs. The principal involves all elements of the academic community in planning school improvement and development. Planning to increase teacher professionalism is carried out in work meetings and described in strategic plans and school operational plans. Aspects of assessment in educational supervision are teacher attendance, teacher performance in schools, student development, lesson plans, and syllabus. The obstacle is competence in keeping up with the latest technology. Thus, this article contributes to knowledge about managerial competence as well as managerialism.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the branding strategy carried out by public relations at Parahyangan Catholic University. To attract prospective students private universities, they use various methods, including by carrying out intensive marketing strategies and promoting the identity of the university so that it is better known to the public. By using a qualitative approach through phenomenological methods, data collection was carried out by literature studies, observations and interviews. The research data analysis technique uses Ansoft Matrix analysis in a branding strategy to attract prospective new students. UNPAR provides the latest marketing product innovations with accreditation competitiveness from grade A to Superior, from Superior to International standards so that prospective students are interested in registering. Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of pandemic covid-19 and sales volume on PT Internusa Medika income both partially and simultaneously. This type of research is quantitative research with associative-casual approach. The used of research population is accountancy report of PT Internusa Medika in January 2019 till May 2019 with the research sample in 29 months. Data collected by observation method, documentation method, internet research, and library research. The data analysis method used multiple linier regression analysis, F test, T test, and R Square. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect partially and simultaneously by Pandemic covid-19 on the PT Internusa Medika income. There was a positive and significant effect partially and simultaneously sales volume on the PT Internusa Medika income.

Abstract

Fluctuating stock price movements occur due to several factors, one of which is corporate action in distributing dividends. Dividends are not only a source of income for investors but are also a signal of the performance of large companies, one of which is in the manufacturing sector. The good performance of manufacturing companies is not only seen from the management of assets, it is also seen from the company's ability to pay dividends and invest in other companies, so that it can lead to an increase in the company's stock price. There are several important factors that companies consider in designing their dividend policy, one of which is company size. Firm size reflects the size of a company based on the total assets owned. This study aims to re-examine and confirm the effect of firm size on stock prices with dividend policy as a mediating variable. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020. The sample determination uses a non-probability method with purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 72 companies. The analysis technique used is path analysis. Analysis of the data in this study using the SmartPLS software version 3.3.7. The results of this study indicate that firm size has no effect on dividend policy, firm size has a positive effect on stock prices, dividend policy has a positive effect on stock prices, dividend policy is not able to mediate the effect of firm size on stock prices.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to find out effect of Job Description, Job Specification and Human Relations on Employee Performance in the production department of PT. Aice Ice Cream Jatim Industry. Quantitative approach methods are carried out in this research. Sampling in this study was performed by non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique with respondents of 100 employees of the production department. The data analysis method for this study is multiple regression using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) for windows type 22.This is confirmed by the results of the investigation conducted that job description has a partial impact on employee performance, the job specification variable has a partial impact on employee performance and the human relationshas a partial impact on employee performance. Job description, job specification and human relations have a simultaneous effect on employee performance. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Job Description, Job Specification dan Human Relation terhadap Kinerja Karyawan departemen produksi PT. Aice Ice Cream Jatim Industry.Metode pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan pada penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling yang dipilih pada penelitian ini ialah purposive sampling dengan responden sebanyak 100 karyawan departemen produksi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yakni regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) for windows type 22.Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil yang menyatakan job description mempunyai dampak secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, job specification memiliki pengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan dan human relation mempunyai dampak parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Job description, job specification dan human relation memiliki dampak secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the business world is proliferating, especially in the fashion business, so that the level of competition that occurs in various countries is getting higher. The high level of competition causes entrepreneurs to have to compete fairly to maintain positive perceptions of products and brands in the minds of consumers. That way, consumers will be loyal and not easily influenced by other brands in the market. The purpose of this study was to determine whether perceived quality, brand image, and promotion partially and simultaneously affect customer satisfaction and customer loyalty to international fast fashion brands in Batam City. Data were collected from 416 respondents of H&M and Uniqlo stores in the Batam City area. The results of data analysis show that brand image and customer satisfaction have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty, while perceived quality and promotion have no significant effect on customer loyalty. Promotion does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Brand image and perceived quality have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Islamic Work Ethics in Improving the Quality of Work of PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk Makassar Main Branch Office (Case Study of Human Resources). The method of analysis used in this research is qualitative research methods. The subject of research is the application of Islamic work ethics in improving the quality of work of employees, especially frontliners based on indicators of improving the quality of employee work with Muamalat IDEAL (Modern Professional Islamic). The results showed that Islamic work ethics plays a role as a basis in improving the quality of work of employees, especially frontliners.
