Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of training on employee performance in the Housekeeping Department at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. Through quantitative methods, this study uses simple linear regression analysis to test the effect of training variables on employee performance. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to Housekeeping employees and analyzed using SPSS 16.0 software. The results showed that there is a significant influence between training and employee performance. This is indicated by the results of the t test, where the calculated t value of 4.992 is greater than the t table of 2.045, which indicates a real relationship between the two variables. In addition, the results of the determination analysis show that training contributes 46.2% to improving employee performance, while the remaining 53.8% is influenced by other variables not mentioned in this study. The conclusion of this study is that training has a significant influence on the performance of Housekeeping employees at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, but there are other variables that also play an important role in influencing employee performance. Therefore, hotel management is advised not only to focus on training, but also to pay attention to other factors that can improve overall employee performance.

Abstract

Human resource management, especially employee performance, is an important emphasis that must be paid attention to by companies. However, what is no less important is the employee's work life balance in managing the quality of his life against the demands of work and life outside of work which must be considered in order to maintain his performance. This research was conducted at Hotel ORB. This research aims to determine the effect of work life balance on employee performance which is analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS). The type of data needed by researchers uses quantitative data with data collection techniques, namely questionnaires. The population in this study involved all employees at Hotel ORB, totaling 183 people. The sample used in this research was 126 respondents. The sampling technique is probability sampling technique (proportinate stratified random sampling) because the population is heterogeneous. The results of this research show that work life balance simultaneously has a positive and significant effect, with a tcount>ttable value of 6.529>0.1743. Work life balance contributes to influencing employee performance by 60.6% and the remaining 39.4% is influenced by other variables not used in this research.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of motivation and job training on employee performance at HR Bali Hotel. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS). The research design employed is a quantitative design with a survey approach. The population used in this study involves all employees working at HR Bali Hotel, totaling 313 individuals. The sample used in this study is employees working at HR Bali Hotel, totaling 100 individuals. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling using the Slovin formula. The results of the study show that motivation and job training, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at HR Bali Hotel.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of firm generated content and electronic word of mouth on the purchase intention of guests at Rock Bar Bali. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to followers of Rock Bar's Instagram account and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The data analysis techniques used in this study were classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, coefficient of determination, and effective contribution. The results of the study show that firm generated content and electronic word of mouth have a significant and positive effect on the purchase intention of guests. The contribution of these two variables to purchase intention reached 73.5%. These findings suggest that marketing strategies that focus on creating quality content and encouraging positive reviews from visitors can be an effective strategy to increase purchase intention at Rock Bar Bali.

Abstract

A comfortable work environment, characterized by a company leadership that treats employees equally and colleagues who are supportive in assisting and interacting with each other, will result in a pleasant working atmosphere, leading to improved employee performance. A positive work environment can make a significant contribution to employee performance, while a negative work environment can have a detrimental impact on employee performance. This research was conducted at Hotel PRL with the aim of examining the influence of the work environment on employee performance at Hotel PRL. The population of this study involved all employees at Hotel PRL with a total of 582 individuals at the supervisor and staff levels. The sample for this study consisted of 85 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling with proportionate stratified random sampling due to the heterogeneous nature of the study population. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 24 statement items. The data analysis techniques employed in this study included simple linear analysis, t-tests, and determination coefficients processed using SPSS version 29 for Windows. The results of this study indicated that the work environment has a positive and significant effect of 79,8% on employee performance at Hotel PRL.

Abstract

The creation of a company's branding is an effort to attract the attention of potential buyers. In the current era of globalization, one of the most common marketing activities is online marketing, including through social media marketing. This research was conducted at Hotel Sthala A, Tribute Portfolio, Ubud Bali. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Instagram social media marketing on brand equity at Hotel Sthala A, Tribute Portfolio, Ubud Bali, analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS). The type of data required by the researcher is quantitative associative data. The population in this study involves active Instagram users who have followed and viewed content shared by the Hotel Sthala A, Tribute Portfolio, Ubud Bali Instagram account. The sample used in this study consists of 100 respondents who are active Instagram users who have followed and viewed content shared by the Hotel Sthala A, Tribute Portfolio, Ubud Bali Instagram account. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The results of this study indicate that Instagram social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand equity at Hotel Sthala A, Tribute Portfolio, Ubud Bali.

Abstract

The increasingly competitive growth of hotels in Gianyar Regency will also impact the competitiveness of its business. To enhance the decision-making process for staying at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali, attention must be paid to several factors that influence guests' decisions to stay. Factors such as Room Price and Service Quality can increase guests' willingness to stay or make repeat purchases. This study aims to determine the influence of room price and service quality on the decision to stay at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali. The population of this study comprises individuals who stayed at The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali, in the last month up to March, totaling 1250 people, with a sample size determined using simple random sampling technique amounting to 93 samples. Data collection method involved questionnaires analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The data analysis results show that room price and service quality have a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay. The regression value obtained is F-statistic of 36.852, which is greater than the critical F-value of 2.70. The strength of the relationship between Room Price (X1) and Service Quality (X2) as independent variables in this study with the percentage of Stay Decision as the dependent variable is 0.871. This indicates a very strong and positive relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The magnitude of the influence of room price and service quality on the decision to stay is 75.8%. Recommendations from the researcher include enhancing room price strategies to compete with nearby hotels. Additionally, management should consider aligning prices with room quality to improve guest stay decisions. For future research, it is suggested to investigate other factors influencing stay decisions such as location, promotions, and advertising.

Abstract

Employees play a crucial role in every organization as they hold the key to success and the ability to accomplish company objectives. Staff performance is an undeniable factor that hotel management must take into account. When staff members perform exceptionally, clients are guaranteed high-quality service. Work discipline is one aspect that influences productivity in the workplace. Employees will become more conscious of the importance of doing a good job on all tasks when there is good work discipline. Finding out how Princess Keisha Bali& Convention Center Hotel's work discipline affects employee performance is the primary goal of this study. The researchers in this quantitative study polled 40 individuals-a representative sample from the entire staff of the Princess Keisha Bali Hotel& Convention Center. This study used saturation sampling techniques for its sampling procedure. Basic linear regression analysis, t-tests, and coefficients of determination are some of the analytical tools used. Work discipline (X) was positively and statistically significantly related to employee performance (, according to the findings. As can be shown in the t-table, the t-value is 10.598=1.684 Employee performance will improve as a result of stricter work rules as work discipline positively affects performance (beta = 1.603). The Princess Keisha Bali &Convention Center Hotel's management hopes to use the findings of this study to encourage more discipline in the workplace and, by extension, higher productivity from its staff.

Abstract

Nowadays, the enhancement of social media is increasingly needed by humans in their daily lives, one of which is in terms of getting information about something unlimitedly, which makes social media widely used as a marketing medium. In this research, the author uses Instagram Advertising (Ads) as an example of a social media feature that is popularly used to market products or services. This study aims to determine how much the influence of Instagram Ads views have on guest purchase intention at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. The population of this research are worldwide active Instagram users, then the sample is narrowed by determining a representative number of 100 people using the unknown populations method and purposive sampling technique requiring the sample are active Instagram users and has seen Instagram Advertising (Ads) of @westinbali. Respondent data was collected by distributing questionnaires and then processed with SPSS version 29. Data analysis in this study uses simple linear regression test, partial correlation coefficient t test, and determination coefficient test. The result of this research showed that Instagram Advertising (Ads) variable (X) has a positive and significant influence on Customer Purchase Intention (Y) at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali.
