Abstract

Problems in this research that is learning of derivative matter about problem solving problem still considered difficult. Lack of motivation and responsibility result in problem-solving abilities also low. This study aims to develop a valid learning media and learning with learning media developed effectively. Effective is referred to in this research is to achieve mastery, the influence and the difference of average. This research is a type of development research with ADDIE Model which is an abbreviation of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The population in this study are all students of class XI in SMA N 1 Jatinom academic year 2016/2017. Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. Techniques used to collect data in this study are interviews, documentation, observation, questionnaires and tests. Kevalidan media product developed based on validation consisting of validation of expert media I with achievement level of 93,75%, media expert II equal to 87,5%, material expert equal to 77,5% and media user equal to 86,67%. The average achievement rate is 86.355%, so the learning media is feasible to be used. The result of completeness test of problem solving ability reaching completeness of study individually with KKM 77 counted 31 students from 38 students and mastery classically 83,87%. Result of influence test by using linear regression test in SPSS program showed that motivation and responsibility influence problem solving equal to 98,1%. The mean difference test results indicate an average difference in problem solving skills of the experimental class and control class. The average problem solving ability of the experimental class is better that 82.90 than the control class of 70.25. So the Uno Static Learning Media in the Application of Snowball Throwing Learning Model The Class XI Derivative Material is valid and effective learning. Based on the research is expected teachers can use instructional media and innovate the learning model as a means of improving motivation, responsibility and problem solving skills of learners.Keywords: Learning Media, Uno Statik, Snowball Throwing, Problem Solving Abilities.

Abstract

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. (PT Telkom Tbk.) is a Badan UsahaMilik Negara (BUMN) engaged in telecommunications and network services in the territory of Indonesia. PT Telkom Tbk. is claimed to be the largest telecommunications company with 15 million costumer of telephone and 104 million costumer of cellular telephone. PT Telkom Tbk. is one of the BUMN’s whose shares are currently owned by the Government of Indonesia (52,56%), and 47,44% owned by the Public, Bank of New York, and Domestic Investors. In the 2017, PT Telkom Tbk. experienced satellite interference that triggers stock price changes. Thus, forecasting is needed to help capital market players to determine the basis for strategic decision making that can give them an advantage. The forecasting method used is Support Vector Machine (SVM).SVM is one of many methods that can be used to solve various types ofproblems including forecasting. By using the Grid Search method, the best training data parameter optimization results are obtained to predict data testing. Based on the results of forecasting stock prices are in the range of Rp3152 up to Rp3615 for the period 01-15 August 2018. Based on the MAPE value the variables open, high, low and close obtained very good forecasting results with a value of <10%. Keywords: PT Telkom Tbk., SVM, Grid Search and MAPE

Abstract

This improvement is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of IPA on the material Structure and Function of PlantSection. Most students' critical thinking skills have not yet been seen and scoredunder the KKM. Therefore, teachers apply environmentally directed discoverylearning model in order to create a fun learning atmosphere. The purpose of thisimprovement is to know the improvement of learning outcomes and criticalthinking skills in science learning materials Structure and Function Part Plantsof fourth graders Semester 1 Islamic elementary school NU Pungkuran DistrictSemarang Central Semarang City Lesson 2016/2017.The implementation oflearning improvement consists of 2 cycles. Cycle I dated October 4, 2016 andCycle II dated October 11, 2016. The results obtained are the increase in thepercentage completeness of student learning outcomes cycle I reached 67%, andcycle II reached 92%. While the achievement of critical thinking skills in the firstcycle reached 58.3% with predicate enough and cycle II increased to 83.3% witha range of intervals from 2.40 to 2.79 predicate enough. The conclusion is thatthe application of environmentally directed discovery learning model canimprove learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students in sciencelearning materials Structure and Function of Class Section IV Semester 1 SDIslam NU Pungkuran District Semarang Tengah Semarang City Lesson2016/2017.Keywords: discovery, learning outcomes, critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This paper aims to report various issues related to affective domain assessment in an effort tounderstand the needs of teachers in implementing affective assessment in Madrasah Aliyah. Data collection isdone through interview technique and focus group discussion (FGD). The collected data were analyzedinductively to produce meaningful information points. Predicate as a public school characteristic of Islamicreligion attached to Madrasah Aliyah institution has implications to the demands of realizing the character ofmorality or morals as a value of excellence for learners. Implementation of education system in Madrasah Aliyahwhich has been accused still has weaknesses require real efforts to improve its quality. The development ofvalue-based affective assesment instruments combined with the scale of religiosity is representative to expressand recognize the disposition of learners’s affective characteristics more broadly and fundamentally for theinterest of improving the assessment system in particular and improving the quality of education in general. Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the preconception, interest and attitude among undergraduate students toward biodiveristy conservation issues. This research is a descriptive research using quantitative approach. The data was collected from 100 undergraduate students of IKIP Veteran Jawa Tengah by test, questionnaire and interview sheet. Results showed that the preconception of undergraduate students toward the biodiversity conservation issue is quite good with score 75.57. This study reveals that there were some misconception about biodiversity conservation especially about the conservation strategy. Theinterest of undergraduates student toward this issues is on good category. It showed by the average score of undergraduate student’s interest that reach 84.25. Meanwhile, the undergraduate’s attitude on the biodiversity conservation is good. This indicated by It showed by the average score of undergraduate student’s attitude that reach 83,44. Abstract

Regression analysis can be done by parametric and nonparametric approach. The nonparametric approach does not assume an assumption compared to parametric. One nonparametric approach is the spline truncated. Spline is a polynomial piece that provides high flexibility. Spline modeling requires spline and knots. To determine the knots using General Cross Validation (GCV). In this study modeled the value of Jakarta Composite  Index (JCI). JCI provides benefits to know the overall stock price in the stock exchange Indonesia. In this study the best spline model is linear with three knots with R square is 94.34%. Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure and analyze the difference of inhibition concentration of areca nuts concentration 2%b/v, 3%b/v, 4%b/v, 5%b/v and 6%b/v on the growth of S.aureus. The sample used in this research is areca nuts (Areca catechu L.) with the object of research S.aureus that has equalized turbidity with Mc Farland standard 0.5. Antibacterial testing is done by diffusion method (wells). The results showed that areca nuts can inhibit S.aureus bacteria with area of inhibit zone for concentration 2% b/v, 3% b/v, 4% b/v, 5% b/v and 6% b/v is 14,5 mm, 14,6 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm and 18 mm. Result of normality test Kolmogorov-Smirnov S.aureus (p=0,691) the values obtained are normally distributed. The homogenity test of S.aureus is not homogeneous, Then proceed with non parametric test that is Kruskal Wallis (p=1,000) the values obtained showed no significant difference to mean inhibition zone diameter between concentrations 2%b/v, 3%b/v, 4%b/v, 5%b/v and 6%b/v areca nuts infusion against S. aureus bacteria. Keywords: Areca nuts infusion, Staphylococcus aureus, Inhibition

Abstract

Every mother who will do childbirth generally wants a normal childbirth. But in reality, many mothers give birth abnormally. Based on the 2015 Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (IDHS), the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia is still quite high that reaching 305 per 100,000 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of probit regression models of the factors that influence the risk level of maternal childbirth, describing what factors that influence the level of risk of maternal childbirth, and the opportunities of factors that influence the risk level of maternal childbirth in RST Reksodiwiryo Padang.Based on the results of the study, the best probit regression model that describes the factors that influencethe risk level of maternal childbirth in RST Reksodiwiryo Padang in July, August, and September Tri-Wulan are:(Pi) = 0,808 + 1,295 X3 + 1,334 X4  + 0,878 X7 – 1,819 X8 Keyword:Probit regression analysis, the level of risk of maternal childbirth

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Sunset Policy, Tax Amnesty, Tax Sanctions, e-SPT, and Performance Account Representative Against Taxpayer Compliance Level invCompliance with Obligation Studies On Taxpayers registered in the Office of Primary Tax Service Kudus. This study distributed questionnaires to Taxpayers registered in Tax Office Primary Kudus as much as 100 questionnaires. Sample selection technique in this research use random sampling. Data analysis methods used in this research are descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. The results of this study concluded that Tax Amnesty, Tax Sanction, and e-SPT have a positive effect on Taxpayer Compliance Rate while Sunset Policy and Performance Account Representative have no effect on Taxpayer Compliance Rate. Keywords: Taxpayer Compliance, Sunset Policy, Tax Amnesty, Tax Sanctions, e-SPT, Performance Account Representative
