Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of web technology as a measurement of educational performance in hospitals. This study was conducted with a research and development approach to the Pulmonary Hospital Dr. Ario Wirawan (RSPAW) Salatiga. Data sources are informants (apprentices, facilitators, heads of installations, employees), events, and documents. The sampling method is simple random sampling and census. The type of data used is primary data.Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results showed that thewebsite performance measurement information system based on balanced scorecard was successfully implemented. The performance measurement information system website is equipped with an interface program in the form of graphics and data export facilities, so that the data needed for the evaluation of the implementation of education, both in the framework of the preparation of future internship program development programs and accountability for its implementation.Keywords: Website, Education Performance, Balanced Scorecard

Abstract

Media learning in the form of pictorial media can be utilized optimally to improve students’ speaking and writing skills. Speaking skill, as the first productive skill, is regarded as an oral spoken process for expressingthoughts and feelings, reflecting on experiences, and sharing information. On the other hand, as the second productive skill, writing refers to student’s skills in expressing ideas or messages through written form. This paper has objectives: 1). knowing students' speaking and writing skills; 2). utilizing pictorial media to improve students' speaking and writing skills. A descriptive qualitative research method is employed with 22 respondents from Grade 1 SDN Iwul 01 Parung, Bogor. The data are collected by observation, group discussions, interviews, and research instruments. The pictorial media are made in 2 shapes, namely the pictorial of the dots and the picture intact. The results of research: 1). Student speaking skills: the pictorial media are made in the form ofdots, 14 or 64% of students are correct in the names of animals and fruit plants; benefits of animals and fruit; where animals live and vitamins contained in the fruit. 2). Student writing skills: the pictorial media are made in the form of intact pictorials, 18 or 82% of students are correct in writing the names of animals and fruit plants; benefits of animals and fruit; where animals live and vitamins contained in the fruit. In conclusion, by utilizing the media, the learning process became more interesting, the subject matter was presented clearly. Keywords: learning media, pictorial media, speaking and writing skills

Abstract

Economic empowerment of women that lead by Women Studies Center Muhammadiyah of Jember University inWirolegi, one of the center of poverty in Jember, still has many works to do concerned with elements ofeconomic empowerment of women to improve these women’s economy welfare. The purpose of this study is tocapture needs of their small business and as the result is a development model of small business management .It will help them to get access to economy sources, to reach the same position, to have markets, finance andbusiness skill to improve the growth of their own business. This study uses qualitative model with focus groupdiscussion and depth interview.

Abstract

Beras adalah salah satu makanan pokok yang mudah disajikan, enak dan mempunyai energi yang cukuptinggi, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas tubuh dan kesehatan. Komposisi bahan makanan dalam100 gram beras mengandung 360 kalori, 6,7 gram protein, 0,7 gram lemak, 7,9 gram karbohidrat, 10 mgvitamin B 1, 0,03 mg vitamin B 2 dan niacin 1,6 mg . Kebutuhan pokok makanan orang Asia tenggaraumumnya adalah kandungan karbohidrat yang cukup tinggi u antara 70 – 80 %. Fungsi utamakarbohidrat sebagai penghasil energi, di dalam hati digunakan sebagai detoksifikasi, dapat jugamembantu metabolisme lemak dan protein. Seiring dengan perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia yangkurang mendukung dan jumlah penduduk miskin yang makin meningkat maka akan berdampak padaketerbatasan daya beli, sehingga beras yang bagus akan menjadi mahal dan beras dengan kualitas jelekmenjadi alternatif untuk dikonsumsi. Keberadaan nasi aking menjadi alternatif dalam menyelesaikanmasalah ini. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan karbohidrat dari dua sampel yang dikerjakan secara duplodidapatkan rata – rata hasil pemeriksaannya adalah 8,31 %, sedangkan pada pemeriksaan karbohidratpada nasi normal ( bukan aking ) didapatkan kadar rata – rata adalah 10.72 % . Berdasarkan hasilpemeriksaan di atas jika dibandingkan maka terdapat perbedaan penurunan kadar karbohidrat pada nasiaking.Kata Kunci : Pemeriksaan Karbohidrat, Nasi Aking

Abstract

Lecturers apply various models or learning strategies to the students which causes different student responses in joining the teaching learning process. However, the student responses only focus on their cognitive. It means that the lecturers only assess on the students’ achievement. Whereas the applicat ion different models or learning strategies have a purpose to achieve positive responses from the students. It is happened in learning linear program subject. In addition, there are also student responses on the teaching materials application for linear program subject based on contextual approach. Furthermore, the objective of the research is to describe student responses on the application of linear program teaching materials using contextual approach through Linever.Linever means that an acronym for Lindo and Excel Solver software. Moreover, textbook and student’ worksheets (LKM) are the teaching materials which are developed. The technique of data collection uses student responses questionnaires. The result of the research is the student responses on the linear program materials using contextual approach through Linever got 96.6%. In conclusion, this research had achieved the positive responses from the students in learning linear program subject. Abstract

Latar belakang: Kejadian perilaku seks pranikah remaja di Indonesia sangat tinggi, khususnya di Jawa tengah terdapat 7,6% remaja yang melakukan perilaku seks pranikah hingga melakukan hubungan seksual. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan angka perilaku seks pranikah remaja adalah komunikasi orang tua dengan anak. Dalam hal ini dilakukan penelitian tentang hubungan komunikasi orang tua dan anak remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan perilaku seks pranikah yang sebelumya belum pernah diteliti, dan diperoleh bahwa ketidakefektifan komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak masih tinggi.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi orang tua – anak remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan perilaku seks pranikah.Metode: Penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional menggunakan metode cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 258 siswa dengan usia 15- 17 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Analisa data untuk mencari hubungan, digunakan analisis chi-square.Hasil: Ada hubungan komunikasi orang tua dan anak remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan perilaku seks pranikah, dengan hasil analisis chi-square (χ²= 6.432; p= 0,011; CI= 3,841).Kesimpulan dan saran: Terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi orang tua – anak remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan perilaku seks pranikah. Maka perlu adanya pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi bagi remaja baik formal maupun informal, sehingga dapat mengubah persepsi orang tua yang selama ini menganggap tabu menjadi lebih terbuka.

Abstract

The quality of English speaking for  tour guides in Lawang Sewu need to improve in line with the globalization of tourism in Central Java that is being launched to bring a lot of tourists from within the country and abroad are known by the slogan “Visit Jateng 2013”. In accordance with this statement, we did “Pengabdian Masyarakat” dedicated servant of the community for group of guides of Lawang Sewu . the group was divided into two associations and community i.e. paguyuban siang and paguyuban sore. So far, the problems faced by your group Lawang Sewu is how to improve their English language skills with practical, efficient, and does not complicate the psychological learning and motivate them to be ready to serve foreign tourists.  The priority issues of partners (mitra)are how to improve English language skills of Lawang Sewu guides of Semarang, the absence of a practical and efficient guide to practice speaking and storytelling in English for your group Lawang Sewu Semarang, and the realization of the increase in the English language in guide of Lawang Sewu Semarang with appropriatemethods and interesting.  Targets and outcomes of science and technology activities (IPTEKS) for the community of quide in Lawang Sewu Semarang namely; increasing mastery of the English language for guide in Lawang Semarang with Drill method and Repetition, certificates for the guide, English guide to savings, increased motivation and psychological cont ol if travelers face bothdomestically and abroad so as to become a professional guide, and CD of English instruction to guide the improvement of the English language.  The solution offered in our devotion is to increase English skills of guides in Lawang Sewu Semarang, producing methods, materials, methods, and guidelines that are effective, and realize an increasing in their English skills. Therefore, Lawang Sewu is expected to become a symbol of quality foreign tourism by having a guide that is fluent in English.

Abstract

Teams Games Tournament (TGT) is one of cooperative learning models easy toimplement fpt students in the class. TGT involves students activity and role of students as peer tutor, it contains game and reinforcement. TGT used tournament of academic, quiz and individual score where every single student as a team representative competes with another team to obtain a highest score. The use of TGT in learning activity could make students more relaxed, besides it could improve responsibility, honesty and teamwork. The aim of this research is to observe and know student activity during thermochemistry lesson by usingTGT in XI IPA 5 in SMA N 15 Semarang. This research used both quantitative andqualitative method, the researcher obtained data by distributing questionnaire, conducting an interview and observing the field. Based on the research, the researcher obtained the data that students activity in XI IPA 5 by using TGT within two categories “sangat baik” and “baik”. The result showed that XI IPA 5 obtained percentage of 78% regarding to visual activities, 84% regarding to listening activities, writing activities obtained percentage of 85%, 83% regarding to mental activities, while oral activities indicator obtained percentage of 60%, those percentage werecategorized into “baik”. keywords:Teams games tournament, active,cooperative learning

Abstract

Pemeriksaan glukosa darah dilakukan sesuai dengan tahapan Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) yaitu pra analitik, analitik, dan pasca analitik. Tahapan pra analitik memberikan kontribusi paling besar sekitar 61% dari total kesalahan pemeriksaan. Salah satu tahapan pra analitik yaitu pengambilan darah kapiler, dimana pengambilan kapiler tetesan darah  pertama harus dihapus dengan kapas keringkarena masih tercampur sisa cairan jaringan, jika digunakan dalam pemeriksaan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya hasil kadar glukosa darah rendah sehingga menimbulkan kesalahan dalan interpretasi hasil. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui perbedaan kadar glukosa darah berdasarkan tetesan darah kapiler tanpa dan dengan hapusan kapas kering metode POCT. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional.Kadar glukosa darah yang diukur adalah kadar glukosa darah sewaktu. Hasil kadar glukosa darah tanpa hapusan kapas kering berkisar 78-127 mg/dl dengan rerata 91,56 mg/dl. Kadar glukosa darah dengan hapusan kapas kering berkisar 93-137 mg/dl dengan rerata 103,75 mg/dl. Uji statistik sample t-test berpasangan menunjukan psig 0,000 < α = 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan kadar glukosa darah tanpa hapusan kapas keringdan dengan hapusan kapas kering metode POCT.
