Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teacher-parent collaboration in overcoming bullying in kindergarten settings. The research was conducted at RA Shazia Palembang using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and parents. The results showed that bullying in early childhood education still occurs in verbal, physical, and social forms, such as mocking, pushing, taking toys, and excluding peers from play groups. Teachers play an important role in handling bullying through character education, emotional approaches, supervision, and communication with parents. Meanwhile, parents contribute through positive parenting, emotional support, and active communication with the school. The study also found that effective collaboration between teachers and parents can create a safer and more supportive learning environment for children. However, several obstacles were identified, including differences in parenting styles, limited parental time, and a lack of understanding about bullying in early childhood. This research highlights the importance of strengthening school-family partnerships to prevent bullying and support children’s social-emotional development from an early age.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)-based group counseling in reducing delinquency among high school students. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at SMA Nurul Huda involving 10 students selected through purposive sampling based on their moderate to high levels of delinquent behavior. Data were collected through delinquency questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The counseling intervention consisted of six SFBT-based group counseling sessions focusing on students’ strengths, future goals, and solution-building processes. The findings revealed that students demonstrated significant reductions in delinquent behavior after participating in the counseling program. Improvements were observed in emotional regulation, peer interaction, classroom participation, and compliance with school rules. Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, indicating that SFBT-based group counseling was effective in reducing student delinquency. The study concludes that solution-focused group counseling provides a practical, supportive intervention model for helping adolescents achieve positive behavioral change in school counseling settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' information needs and content preferences on  social media of Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (POLSRI). Using a mixed-method approach encompassing client interviews, internal Instagram Insights data, social media observation, and direct interviews with three audiences, this study identifies the demographic, psychographic, and digital behavioral profiles of Polsri audiences. Results indicate the primary audience is aged 17-24, predominantly female (54.3%), from South Sumatra, especially Palembang (49.8%), and most active on social media between 19.00-23.00. Preferred platforms are Instagram and TikTok. Audiences need fast, transparent, and relevant content in the form of authentic and relatable short videos. Key pain points include hard-to-digest campus information and one-way communication. This study recommends a more responsive, informative, and interactive campus social media content strategy to enhance student digital engagement.
