Abstract

Dengue is a viral infectious disease that is transmitted through mosquitoes and is a public health problem in the world (World Health Organization, 2021). Data from the North Sulawesi Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the morbidity rate for dengue fever per 100,000 population in 2020-2021 is 42.8. In Minahasa Regency the incidence of dengue fever in 2020 was 58.1 and increased to 58.2 in 2021. According to the 2021 Minahasa District Health Service Government Agency Performance Report (LKjIP), the incidence of dengue fever in 2018 increased significantly to 307 cases (0 .91%), very high compared to previous years. The increase in 2019 was 629 cases (1.84%). In 2020, 205 cases (0.59%) were detected. The aim of this research is to find out how to analyze the implementation of the dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) control program at the Pineleng Community Health Center, Minahasa Regency. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research show that the dengue fever prevention program at the Pineleng Community Health Center was implemented well in terms of human resources, funds, counseling and activities. However, the equipment used for fogging is still borrowed from the Health Service or other Community Health Centers, and for epidemiological investigations, sometimes when there are many cases where there is a shortage of health workers. In conclusion, the Pineleng Community Health Center should be able to increase the availability of facilities and infrastructure and maximize health workers.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which most often attacks the lungs. The source of infection, TBBTA patients were positive through splashes of phlegm they expelled. Epidemiologically, tuberculosis more often attacks the productive age group, but in all age groups there are many people affected by tuberculosis. The aim of this research is to analyze the epidemiology of tuberculosis, as well as analyze the factors of age, gender and occupation of tuberculosis sufferers at the Koya Health Center, South Tondano District. Using quantitative descriptive methods and the analysis used is univariate analysis. Respondents totaled 107 tuberculosis patients. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that based on the patient's age category, namely 15>50 years, the number is 58.9% with a frequency of 63, and at ages>50 years it is 41.1% with a frequency of 44. Furthermore, for the first gender category, male there were 63 people with a percentage of 59.9%, and 44 women with a percentage of 41.1%. Next, in the non-employed worker category there were 15 people with a percentage of 14%, then there were 45 people in the private sector with a percentage of 42.1%, and finally there were 47 civil servants with a percentage of 43.9%. This statement provides an initial description of the prevalence of pulmonary TB in the population studied. In conclusion, the majority of sample respondents are under 50 years old, while only a small portion are over 50 years old. The majority of survey respondents were men with a proportion of around 58.9% of the total surveyed population. Meanwhile, the number of women who took part in this survey was smaller, namely around 41.1% of the total respondents. The majority of the 107 individuals surveyed were workers, which is around 85.9% of the total sample. Of those who work, the majority are divided between private sector (42.1%) and civil servants (43.9%). Despite this, about 14% of the total sample is unemployed. This information provides an overview of the prevalence of pulmonary TB in the studied population, which can be used to analyze risk factors and the effectiveness of preventive and treatment measures.

Abstract

Background: Antibiotics are drugs that are widely used to treat infections caused by bacteria. Prescription of antibiotics is often given in the treatment of patients, but inappropriate use can trigger resistance in bacteria. The lack of knowledge about appropriate antibiotics by the public is the main point of resistance. From the results of initial observations carried out at the GMIM Sion Madidir Ure Congregation, interviews showed that 10 out of 15 respondents had poor knowledge of the use of antibiotics and 5 of them only had good knowledge. Objective: To find out the description of the use of antibiotics on the knowledge of the GMIM Sion Madidir Ure congregation. Methodology: The research used was a descriptive analytical research method with a survey approach carried out during June 2024. The population in this research was the entire GMIM Sion Madidir Ure congregation, totaling 262 people making up 70 samples with a sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The research was carried out by observing the variable knowledge of antibiotic use in the GMIM Sion Madidir Ure congregation. Data analysis was carried out univariately. Results: The research results show that the majority of respondents who answered had little knowledge were 40 people (57.14%) and those who answered had good knowledge were 30 people (42.85%).

This research is an analytical description research with a Cross Sectional Study approach which was conducted in Maesa Unima Village from October to November 2023 with a sample size of 35. This research was analyzed using univariate analysis which produces a frequency distribution for each variable and bivariate analysis to determine The impact of alcohol consumption on the risk of heartburn using the Chi Square test which is supported by the SPSS program. Based on the research results, a significant value of p=0.009 (<0.05) was obtained. From these results, it can be concluded that consumption of alcoholic beverages (alcohol) is related to the risk of heartburn in young people (aged 19-25 years) in Maesa Unima Village, South Tondano District.

Abstract

Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infection caused by the dengue virus which can attack all ages, from babies to the elderly. The way to eradicate mosquito nests is by implementing a program for draining, covering and recycling used goods or commonly known as the 3M program. Objective: To determine the relationship between the implementation of the waste, closing and recycling program for used goods and the incidence of dengue fever in the Tandengan Community Health Center working area, Eris District. Methodology: The research uses a quantitative cross sectional study design method which was carried out in May 2024. Sampling used total sampling or the entire population with a total of 30 samples. The research was carried out by observing the implementation variables of the 3M and DBD programs. The analysis carried out was univariate and bivariate (Chi-Square test). Results: The independent variables that have a significant relationship with the incidence of dengue fever are the implementation of the landfill draining program (p = 0.000 < 0.05), the implementation of the landfill closing program (p = 0.005 < 0.05) and the implementation of the used goods recycling program (p = 0.001 > 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the implementation of the program for draining, closing and recycling used goods and the incidence of dengue fever in the Tandengan Community Health Center working area, Eris District.
