Abstract

According to the statistics collected, 157 babies were born with low birth weight (LBW) in 2016. 142 infants were born with LBW in 2017. 134 infants were born with LBW in 2018. The researcher at Delia Langkat General Hospital found that during the previous three years, the monthly prevalence of LBW cases stayed high. Analyzing the risk variables linked to the prevalence of low birth weight at Delia Langkat General Hospital in 2019 is the aim of this study. This study uses a quantitative research design and a retrospective methodology. The Delia Langkat General Hospital served as the study's site. 138 people made up the study population, and 138 respondents were selected from the sample using a total sampling technique. At a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05), the data were examined using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using the chi-square test, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression. The findings indicated that a history of preterm birth (p = 0.017 < 0.05) and multiple pregnancies (p = 0.026 < 0.05) were the factors linked to the incidence of LBW at Delia Langkat General Hospital in 2018. Maternal age (p = 0.847 > 0.05), preeclampsia/eclampsia (p = 1.000 > 0.05), birth interval (p = 0.0322 < 0.05), and early rupture of membranes (p = 0.439 > 0.05) were among the variables that were not linked to the risk of LBW. The history of preterm delivery was the most significant factor linked to the incidence of LBW. According to the study's findings, a history of preterm delivery and repeated pregnancies both have an impact on the occurrence of LBW. A history of preterm birth is the most important factor. In order to enhance the delivery of health education on the prevention and risk factors of LBW incidence, it is anticipated that these findings will be able to be used as an assessment reference by healthcare professionals, especially in LBW services. Abstract

Background: Nutritional problems are issues that occur throughout every stage of life, starting from the womb (fetus), infancy, childhood, adulthood, to old age. The aim of this study was to analyze the factors influencing the application of nutrition-conscious principles at the household level on the nutritional status of children under five. Methods: This research was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional study design. The study was conducted in Sisumut Village, Kota Pinang Subdistrict, South Labuhan Batu Regency, using a total sampling technique involving 50 mothers with children under five. Data were analyzed using chi-square and logistic regression tests. Results: The study found that the application of balanced nutrition was influenced by knowledge (p = 0.020), attitude (p = 0.012), economic status (p = 0.000), dietary restrictions (p = 0.000), and health worker counseling (p = 0.000). Conclusion: It is concluded that the application of balanced nutrition is influenced by factors such as knowledge, attitude, economic status, dietary restrictions, and counseling by health workers. Therefore, it is expected that pregnant women and families can allocate time to attend nutrition counseling provided by health workers to enhance maternal knowledge on how to address undernutrition issues, as well as regularly seek information on good nutrition for toddlers. Abstract

Feces are one of the waste products that lead to several issues in the medical field and act as a breeding ground for bacteria, thus their disposal requires extra care. Many individuals still do not use latrines, according to the first survey that researchers did in Batu City's Aek Puskesmas working region. Analyzing the variables influencing latrine use in the Aek City Health Center's Work Area in Batu was the aim of this study. This kind of research was carried out between October and November 2019 and used a cross-sectional study design and analytical survey. All household heads without a separate restroom made up the study's population. Purposive sampling was used in this study to establish the sample size, which consisted of 71 households. The data were analyzed using the logistic regression test formula for multivariate analysis, the chi-square formula for bivariate analysis, and univariate analysis. According to the study's findings, health workers' expertise, attitudes, and information have an impact on how often people use the public restrooms in Aek Kota Batu Village in 2019. In Aek Kota Batu Village in 2019, the information provided by health officers was the most significant factor preventing the population from using public restrooms. As a result, it is advised that residents of Desa Aek Kota Batu have access to public restrooms for proper bowel movements. Abstract

The Healthy Indonesia Program is one program that aims to improve the quality of life of Indonesian people, improve the health status and nutritional status of the community through health efforts and community empowerment supported by financial protection and equitable distribution of health services. The general objective of this research is to analyze the policy relationship between the Healthy Indonesia Program and the Family Approach to Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Karang Baru Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency. This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional study design. The study was conducted in Karang Baru Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency by using Simple Random Random Sampling technique, namely 66 mothers who had children under five. Chi Square test and logistic regression were used to analyze the data. Based on the results of the study note that the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is related to families participating in Family Planning (p = 0.020), mothers giving birth in health facilities (p = 0.024), infants receive complete basic immunizations (p = 0.006), utilization (breast milk) exclusive (p = 0.038), monitoring of toddler growth (p = 0,000). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the factors related to Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are families who participate in Family Planning, mothers deliver at health facilities, infants get complete basic immunizations, exclusive use (ASI), monitoring the growth of infants. So that the suggestions in this research are expected to be able to be material and input in the policy making of the Healthy Indonesia program with the Family Approach that health is a community right. Abstract

One health service that has a very important role in providing health services to the public is a hospital. Based on the results of interviews that the most frequent complaints they receive are about the system of change set by the BPJS program and the timetable for doctor's services is not as promised. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of satisfaction of outpatient BPJS patients. The study design used was cross sectional with a total population of 2,056 outpatient BPJS patients and 98 samples were taken by accidental sampling. Data collection methods are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is multivariate analysis with binary logistic regression test. The results showed that the guarantee has a sig-p value of 0,000 <0.05, empathy has a sig-p value of 0.009 <0.05 and the responsiveness has a sig-p value of 0.001 <0.05. The conclusion in this study there is the effect of assurance, empathy and responsiveness to outpatient BPJS patient satisfaction, while reliability and physical evidence has no influence on BPJS outpatient patient satisfaction. It is hoped that the hospital will improve patient satisfaction for the better, such as giving care to patients who need health services. Keywords : Factor Analysis, Patient Satisfaction Level
