Abstract

Majalengka has a unique culinary heritage in the form of gula cakar, but the process of making it is rarely documented, so it could be forgotten as time goes by. This study aims to design a 2D animation that simulates the traditional process of making gula cakar as an educational and cultural preservation tool. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes the stages of concept, design, material collection, assembly, and distribution. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with artisans, and literature reviews, which were then translated into storyboards, character designs, and frame-by-frame animations using Blender and CapCut software. The research outcome is a 2D animated video systematically showcasing the steps of gula cakar production, from ingredient preparation, processing, to product cutting. The animation was distributed through digital platforms such as YouTube and social media to ensure widespread access. The findings indicate that a digital approach can enhance visual appeal while documenting local knowledge. Compared to conventional methods such as oral storytelling, animated media has proven more effective in conveying information, increasing appreciation, and expanding the reach of promoting Majalengka's traditional culinary culture.

Abstract

Administrative services at the village level are essential in meeting community needs, particularly in issuing official documents such as the Business Certificate (Surat Keterangan Usaha/SKU) and the Domicile Certificate (Surat Keterangan Domisili/SKD). In Cikalong Village, Sukahaji Sub-district, Majalengka Regency, these processes are still performed manually, leading to delays, recording errors, and archiving difficulties that decrease service efficiency and quality. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Information System for SKU and SKD services to overcome these problems. The system was developed using the waterfall model, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results indicate that the system improves processing speed, reduces administrative errors, and facilitates data storage and retrieval. Furthermore, it enhances transparency and accountability in public services. Implementation of this system is expected to deliver faster, more effective, and efficient administrative services while supporting modern village governance aligned with community needs.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a 3D animation as an educational medium for the selfservice fuel filling system integrated with cashless payment methods at gas stations. The research was motivated by the limited adoption of self-service systems in Indonesia and the increasing need for safe, convenient, and contactless transactions, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. The study employed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method consisting of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The testing phase was carried out in two stages: Black box Testing to evaluate functionality and usability testing with 40 respondents using a questionnaire. The results showed that the developed animation achieved user satisfaction levels of 76.75% for ease of understanding, 75.00% for cashless payment integration, and 82.50% for effectiveness as an educational tool, with an overall average of 77.84%. These findings indicate that the 3D animation is feasible and effective as a learning medium to improve user understanding of self-service fuel filling with cashless payment at gas stations.

Abstract

Barokah Tiga Putra is an LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) agent in Majalengka Regency that distributes 3-kilogram LPG cylinders to more than 60 distribution bases. The current manual distribution process using Microsoft Excel leads to several problems, such as slow data access, recording errors, and the inability to monitor distribution in real time. This research aims to design and implement a web-based distribution management information system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness. The system development method applied is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which consists of requirement planning, design, testing, and implementation stages. The implementation results show that the system successfully facilitates the management of base data, requests, deliveries, sales, and LPG receipts in an integrated manner. Furthermore, the system enables real-time monitoring of distribution, supporting agents in making strategic decisions. Therefore, the developed information system provides a practical solution to overcome the limitations of the previous manual distribution process.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary sector. This study aims to design and implement a web-based donut sales application information system as a solution to increase the competitiveness of Kedai Alya Donuts. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, starting with needs analysis, system design using UML, implementation using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript programming languages, and system testing using the Black Box method. The developed system allows administrators to manage product data and receive orders in an integrated manner via WhatsApp, while customers can easily access product information and place orders. The implementation results indicate that this system can expand market reach and improve sales process efficiency, thus potentially strengthening Kedai Alya Donuts' competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a chatbot-based counseling service for children to prevent bullying, utilizing Dialogflow integrated with Telegram. The research addresses the limited access children have to report bullying cases and receive initial counseling, particularly in regions with constrained resources. The development applied the waterfall method, covering requirements analysis, system design, implementation, Testing, and maintenance. The chatbot provides three main features: counseling services, bullying reporting, and educational content. Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) showed that all features function according to specifications, with positive user feedback on accessibility and usability. The integration of Dialogflow's Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities enables the chatbot to understand user intent and provide contextually relevant responses. The solution is expected to support the Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak, dan Keluarga Berencana (DP3AKB) in Majalengka in monitoring and handling bullying cases, while offering children a safe and interactive platform for reporting and education.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an automated WhatsApp bot system based on Node.js and the Baileys library, equipped with a web dashboard as a management interface without requiring a Command Line Interface (CLI). The research method follows the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, Black-Box testing, and maintenance. Implementation results demonstrate that the WhatsApp bot can automatically respond to customer messages based on keywords, accelerate the sales process of premium digital applications, and improve customer service efficiency at the Untitled store. The web dashboard enables administrators to control the bot and manage message templates more flexibly. The study concludes that the developed system is effective in streamlining digital account sales operations and provides a foundation for further enhancements such as automatic payment integration and the application of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to tourism promotion strategies, with websites becoming one of the most effective media for delivering information quickly, accurately, and in a well-structured manner. Zarind Waterboom, a water tourism destination in Majalengka Regency, still faces challenges in its promotional efforts due to limited media usage and a lack of informative content. This study aims to design and implement a website-based information system to improve information accessibility and enhance visitor interest. The research methodology includes literature review, needs analysis, system design using the waterfall approach, and website implementation with HTML, CSS, and PHP. The results indicate that the developed website successfully provides key information such as ticket prices, facilities, location photos, and an interactive map to help visitors easily find the destination. The presence of this website enables the management to expand its promotional reach, improve interaction with potential visitors, and strengthen its digital marketing strategy. This research is expected to serve as a practical solution for Zarind Waterboom’s management in optimizing tourism promotion and attracting more visitors.

Abstract

This practical work report discusses the design and implementation of a company profile website and product catalog for Alfanet Computer. The main objective of this project is to create an online platform that provides complete and structured information about the store, product specifications, availability, and prices. The research was conducted using the Waterfall development method, starting from requirements analysis, system design with UML, implementation using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, to testing through the black-box method. The website enables store owners to manage product data efficiently and allows customers to access product information anytime and anywhere without visiting the store. The results of this project show that the developed website successfully displays store profiles and product catalogs in a more systematic and user-friendly manner. This system is expected to help Alfanet Computer improve service quality and support business development by expanding access to information through digital media.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a village profile website for Cikalong Village using the Laravel framework as a digital platform to improve the accessibility of information for the community. The study addresses the lack of an integrated digital system in the village, which has limited information dissemination and promotion of local potential. The methodology employed is the Waterfall model, which involves sequential stages including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations with village officials to identify user needs and system requirements. The developed website provides various features such as village profile, government structure, public services, facilities, local resources, news and events, product promotion (UMKM), gallery, contact page, and an admin dashboard for content management. The system was built using Laravel for backend development, MySQL for database management, Bootstrap for responsive interface, and tested with the black-box method. The results show that the website successfully supports the dissemination of village information, enhances transparency, and serves as a medium for promoting local products. User feedback indicated positive responses regarding usability and relevance of the features
