Abstract

Culinary MSMEs face challenges in leveraging digital technology to expand their market and improve their services. Seblak Ting-Ting Shop in Majalengka still relies on social media for promotions and ordering, resulting in less than optimal transaction management. This research aims to design a website-based culinary application that simplifies ordering, improves operational efficiency, and expands market reach. The development method used is the Waterfall method, encompassing requirements analysis through observation and interviews, design using UML (use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams), implementation using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript, and testing using black box testing. The results show that the application can be accessed via PC or mobile devices, with key features including menu information, online ordering, a shopping cart, stock management, and order confirmation. Testing demonstrated that all functions functioned as expected. This system facilitates customer access to information and transactions, while also helping the shop owner manage sales data in a more structured manner. Thus, the developed application can improve service, operational efficiency, and expand the market reach of Seblak Ting-Ting Shop.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has transformed modern education, particularly in managing school schedules efficiently. In vocational schools like SMK Global Jatitujuh, scheduling conflicts frequently arise due to limited classroom availability, teacher workload, and the addition of new subjects. These conflicts negatively affect teaching efficiency and student learning outcomes. This study proposes a web-based school timetable system using the Genetic Algorithm, an evolutionary computation method that optimizes scheduling through selection, mutation, and crossover operations. The system processes data on subjects, teachers, classrooms, and time slots to generate conflict-free and optimized timetables. The objectives are to implement a web-based scheduling system that minimizes timetable clashes and enhances the efficiency of educational management. Results indicate that the system effectively reduces scheduling conflicts, accelerates timetable generation, and decreases human errors in manual scheduling. In conclusion, the proposed system significantly improves the management of school schedules at SMK Global Jatitujuh, supports the teaching and learning process, and ensures an optimized allocation of educational resources. This approach demonstrates the potential of Genetic Algorithm-based web systems in modern educational scheduling solutions.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in cultural heritage, yet modernization has caused younger generations to show greater interest in foreign cultures rather than local traditions. This issue highlights the need for innovative approaches to preserve and promote local wisdom. This study aims to introduce Majalengka’s local culture through the development of an interactive video game “PENA: Desa Terlarang.” The research employed the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, consisting of initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release stages. Data were collected through field research at the Majalengka Creative Center (MCC) and literature studies to integrate cultural values into the game’s narrative and design. The resulting game adopts an adventure-horror genre with puzzle elements, allowing players to explore traditional stories, interact with cultural artifacts, and solve challenges inspired by local myths. Technical implementation was carried out using Unity Engine and Blender for modeling, supported by design patterns such as Finite State Machine, Observer, and Singleton to manage game logic and events. The findings show that the game not only provides entertainment but also effectively educates players about local culture while enhancing reasoning skills through gameplay. This research demonstrates that video games can serve as a creative and engaging medium for cultural preservation.

Abstract

This research explores diabetes prediction using a classification method by applying the Naive Bayes algorithm and utilizing the RapidMiner application. Using a clinical dataset that includes parameters such as glucose levels, body mass index, and blood pressure, a predictive model was developed and evaluated with an efficient data processing approach via RapidMiner. Experiments show that this model provides accurate predictions regarding diabetes risk. These findings can support the implementation of practical solutions in the early diagnosis of diabetes.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has significantly transformed agricultural marketing systems. Mekar Mulya Farmers Group, located in Argalingga Village, Majalengka Regency, faces several challenges in distributing agricultural products, such as long distribution chains, limited market access, and low profit margins due to conventional sales methods. This study aims to design and implement a Business-to-Consumer (B2C) e-commerce platform that directly connects farmers with end consumers. The research adopts the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall model, which consists of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance stages. The system was developed using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework, MySQL as the database, and tested with the Blackbox Testing method to ensure functional suitability. The results show that the developed e-commerce platform provides essential features such as product catalogs, order management, payment confirmation, and price transparency, which help build consumer trust. The implementation demonstrates that the system effectively increases farmers’ profit margins, broadens market reach, and streamlines transaction processes. In conclusion, the application of a B2C e-commerce platform in Mekar Mulya Farmers Group proves to be an effective solution for improving operational efficiency, strengthening food security, and supporting farmers’ welfare in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Web-based Information System for Outdoor Hiking Equipment Rental at Cerita Outdoor Majalengka. The study addresses challenges in manual processes, including stock management errors, inefficient data recording, and reliance on WhatsApp communication. Using the Laravel framework and the Waterfall method, the system was designed to optimize stock and transaction management while improving customer convenience. The website allows users to register, log in, browse products with details, and place rental orders by selecting dates and durations. Payments are supported via bank transfer and confirmed by the admin. Meanwhile, admins can manage stock, monitor transactions, and access real-time records more efficiently. The system also supports structured transaction documentation, reducing errors and saving time. Test results show that the system successfully simplifies operations, enhances data accuracy, and increases customer satisfaction by providing a faster and more reliable rental service.

Abstract

This study investigates how using Construct 2-based educational games as interactive learning tools can help children with dyslexia develop their literacy skills in elementary school. More engaging and tailored learning media are needed because they often experience difficulties in reading, recognizing letters, and understanding text. To increase student engagement in the learning process, educational games have interactive visual displays, supporting sounds, and simple gameplay. The research methods used were design, development, and testing on students with dyslexia. The results showed that the use of this educational game can increase students' interest in learning, improve their ability to understand letters and words, and make the learning process enjoyable. Therefore, Construct 2-based educational games can be an alternative learning tool that is useful for supporting the literacy development of children diagnosed with dyslexia in elementary school.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly transformed business operations, including transaction management in retail stores. Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) still rely on manual systems, which are prone to inefficiencies, human errors, and difficulties in generating accurate financial reports. This study aims to design and implement a web-based cashier application for Toko Pandawa, a retail business in Majalengka, to improve transaction processing, inventory management, and reporting. The research employs the Waterfall development methodology, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was conducted through interviews, direct observation, and literature studies to identify the store’s operational problems and user requirements. The system was developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system, while Visual Studio Code served as the development environment. Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, including use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams, were used to model the system. The resulting application provides features for transaction recording, stock monitoring, report generation, and store management. Functional testing using the Black Box method showed that all modules worked as expected, ensuring system reliability and usability. This research demonstrates that web-based cashier applications can enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and support better decision-making for SMEs.

Abstract

The utilization of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in agriculture has advanced significantly; however, challenges related to the adoption of these technologies remain substantial, particularly concerning the implementation of efficient precision irrigation systems. This study aims to address the issues of low water-use efficiency in traditional irrigation systems and the limited early detection of crop diseases, an area not fully exploited by current technologies. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research identifies IoT and AI-based solutions to enhance agricultural productivity with an emphasis on more efficient and environmentally sustainable resource management. The SLR methodology employed follows the PRISMA guidelines, encompassing stages of identification, screening, and eligibility assessment of 1,248 relevant articles, which were subsequently narrowed down to 43 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis reveals that the integration of IoT and AI can significantly improve precision irrigation efficiency and early disease detection, ultimately leading to reductions in water usage and pesticide application, while enhancing agricultural yield sustainability. The study concludes that while these technologies offer substantial solutions to key challenges in agriculture, successful implementation will require supportive policies and adequate training for farmers to fully harness these advancements.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology with embedded video as an innovative medium for introducing tourism destinations in Majalengka Regency. The application was developed using a marker-based AR approach, enabling users to access tourism information in the form of text, images, and videos through their mobile devices. Data were collected through observation and documentation of local attractions, while system development focused on enhancing interactivity and usability. Testing results show that AR with embedded video not only provides a more engaging and immersive experience compared to conventional promotional media but also improves the clarity and attractiveness of tourism information delivery. The findings highlight that this technology can effectively function as both an information and promotional tool, supporting regional tourism development initiatives and encouraging greater tourist interest in visiting Majalengka.
