Abstract

The use of mobile games such as Mobile Legends continues to grow among teenagers and young adults, leading to increased screen time. One factor that is thought to influence the duration of use of the app is user experience (UX). This study aims to analyze the impact of UX on Mobile Legends users' screen time. The approach applied is quantitative with a survey method through questionnaire distribution to 60 respondents who actively play Mobile Legends. The data obtained was then analyzed using a linear regression algorithm with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software to understand the relationship between UX and screen time. The findings indicate that UX influences the length of app usage, where the better the user experience, the higher the tendency for users to spend time playing. The study concludes that UX is an important element that influences the screen duration behavior of mobile game users, so this aspect should be considered in app development.

Abstract

The healthcare industry requires an efficient drug inventory management system to improve service quality and patient access to medicines. This research aims to develop a web-based drug availability application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. The system includes drug inventory management, patient data management, transaction recording (incoming and outgoing drugs), and automatic reporting features. This web-based application was developed using NextJS framework, JavaScript programming language, and MySQL database to provide a user-friendly interface for clinic staff. The development methodology follows the RAD approach which consists of requirements planning, user design, construction, and cutover phases. Black box testing results show that all system functions work properly with 100% success rate. The system successfully provides automated drug inventory management, transaction monitoring, and comprehensive reporting features that can improve operational efficiency at Guvili Clinic. This drug availability management system offers an effective solution to replace manual recording methods and provides real-time access to drug inventory data for better healthcare service management.

Abstract

Inventory data management in workshops is a vital component of business operations. Nevertheless, many workshops still rely on manual systems, which can result in errors, data loss, and inefficiencies. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory management application for workshops using PHP and MySQL. The application streamlines inventory data recording and management, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.The waterfall method is employed for system development, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results demonstrate that the application functions effectively and meets user requirements. This application enables workshop owners to manage inventory data more efficiently, monitor stock in real-time, reduce errors, and improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

At SMK LPS 1 Ciamis, electricity management is still carried out manually. This often leads to issues such as inaccurate recording and delayed monitoring, making it difficult to control electricity usage and increasing the risk of waste. This study develops an Electric Energy Usage Monitoring and Controlling Application Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor and control electricity consumption in real-time. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) to speed up the design and implementation process. IoT devices automatically collect electricity consumption data and send it to a centralized server, removing the need for manual recording. The system displays real-time, accurate usage data and provides a remote control feature to switch devices on or off via an internet connection. Testing results show that the system can monitor electricity usage in real-time, reduce potential recording errors, and simplify the data analysis process. The remote control feature allows users to manage electricity usage from anywhere, helping to prevent waste when devices are not in use. This system also encourages greater awareness of more responsible electricity use in the school environment.

Abstract

PT.WIJAYA KARYA MAJALENGKA often conducts training for its employees to improve their understanding of the latest knowledge related to their field. Training evaluations already exist, but they have not been digitized and are only in the form of paper surveys, which often result in damaged files, lost files, sorting errors, and delays that affect the speed of survey data and training certificate production. Due to these problems, an application is needed that can automatically manage survey data and create certificates, which can minimize errors from the limitations of paper-based survey evaluations in the creation of survey data and certificates. The method used is Waterfall, which applies a methodical and sequential approach, with stages that include requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The creation of this web application simplifies and accelerates the e-certificate generation process, enabling it to be produced automatically. Additionally, this application provides a feature that allows certificates to be accessed and downloaded, and the application will be equipped with a survey data processing system that enables test results and survey results to be converted into Excel files.
