Abstract

Coconut trees are widely spread in Indonesia, generally in rural areas. People usually sell coconuts to middlemen and some are processed by themselves for copra. Processing coconut into dried coconut (copra) can be done through the process of drying by the sun or using a machine. Copra processing to produce coconut oil in the region is usually done traditionally by tasting coconut milk over a fire, which later the water will evaporate and the remaining oil and pulp. Because the method is still very traditional, the process needed to produce coconut oil takes about five to six hours. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the technology of the screw palm press tool is a technology that has been designed to accelerate the production process so as to save labor, fuel and practical use. The results of research and design of copra screw press machines that have been completed in the form of design drawings using solid work applications. Machine dimension refers to a simple machine with copra storage tube material using a steel pipe with a thickness of 5 millimeters. For skeletal materials using U profile steel, L profile steel. Electric motor power and transmission systems use 0.5 HP gearbox, chain, gear measuring 36 and 14 v-belts and pulleys measuring 15 and 10. For copra weighing 3 kg can produce 1 kg of oil, copra weighing 6 kg produce 2 kg of oil and copra 10 kg can produce 4 kg of oil.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Cimanuk River basin is in the management of the Great Hall Cimanuk Cisanggarung and is a unity of the river Cimanuk consisting of 5 regencies namely Garut, Sumedang, Majalengka, Indramayu and Cirebon. Along with the influence of natural factors, there is often a landslide in Cimanuk river lips caused by the increase of the discharge of Cimanuk river water which directly impacts on the area of agricultural land in the village of Karang dial. Therefore, a cliff-protective building is required on the Cimanuk River lip to minimize the likelihood of a landslide that is feared to adversely affect the agricultural area of the surrounding inhabitants. The scour or erosion that occurs in cimanuk river raises unrest for the people around the river. Currently, the impact is large enough that the scours already scrape some rice fields and residential areas around. Therefore, necessary immediate handling to overcome the scours that occurs with the protective buildings of the river cliffs. Researchers offer several types of buildings that have been tailored to the needs of each place based on the cross section of the river. The building is a retaining wall of soil, spun pile, slab, gabions, sheet pile.The building of a cliff protector is a major component of important building structures to prevent the movement of the river Lips by the flow of water and other environmental buildings associated with contoured land or land with different elevations. Briefly the cliff-protective building serves to protect the cliffs from landslides caused by increased water discharge.

Abstract

Good management is needed to control a construction project, in order to achieve the efficiency and effectiveness of project management, so that the results of the process of controlling costs, quality, and time are achieved that meet the planning. The method that can be used in controlling costs and time and can address the achievement of activities is the Method of Value Results Concept (EVC). Concept Method Value Results is a method of calculating the number of costs according to the budget in accordance with the work that has been completed or implemented. The Concept of Value Results Method can be used to analyze performance and make estimates of achievement of targets by using three indicators, namely ACWP (Actual Cost Work Performed), BCWP (Budgeted Cost of Work Performed), and BCWS (Budgeted Cost of Work Schedule). Rehabilitation of the Gandu Panongan road has CV values = 0 and CPI = 1 shows costs in accordance with the planned budget. And on the image of the variance analysis calculation integrated with the "S" graph of the GanduPanongan Road Rehabilitation project, the work is completed sooner than the specified schedule, namely, from April to June and in the field, the project starts in April 3rd week and finishes faster that is in May 3rd week.

Abstract

Bridge abutments connect the deck, or surface of the bridge, to the ground and help support its weight both horizontally and vertically. On short bridges, one abutment is placed at either end of the bridge and connected to the embankment, sometimes including a retaining wall. The choice of abutment depends on the available space, geologic features of the bridge site, and available funding for the project. This Cihieum bridge was built using a composite steel structure with a span of 30 m and a width of 7 m, consisting of 2 abutments. With an implementation time of 150 calendar days.

Abstract

Project to build an outpatient and basement building in Majelngka District Hospital consists of 4 floors and one basement floor. The foundation used in this project is a deep foundation with borepie type foundation. Each foundation must be able to withstand the load generated by the interaction of building structures. the foundation with this column can later be used as a comparison with the existing foundation and column design. Soil type in this project is clay type with hard soil depth of more than 10 m. The calculation of foundation and column is assisted with the SAP 2000 software. Based on the calculation results obtained the dimensions of the foundation with a diameter of 0.5 m with a depth of 5 m using the main level 8D19 with stirrup layer D10-200 and pilecap thickness used for 0.6 m while the structural data from implementing contractor obtained the dimensions of the foundation with a diameter of 0.8 m with a pole length of 4 m, the main reinforcement 16D19 with stirrup D10-150 and pilecap thickness obtained 1 m. This difference occurs because of differences in the calculation concepts of each method.

Abstract

The Silk Town Alexandria Tower apartment project is one of the apartment projects in the city to meet the needs of the megapolitan community for residential homes. This apartment is a people's dream to have a modern residence with luxurious facilities. This project has a very strategic location, namely in the Graha Raya area. South Tangerang, precisely on Jalan Bhayangkara, Alam Sutra. Tangerang Selatan is a location that is experiencing rapid development. In addition, South Tangerang, which is close to the capital city, makes this location in great demand and targeted by the community. Shear walls are vertical elements of the horizontal force resisting system. Shear walls are like vertically-oriented wide beams that carry earthquake loads downwards to the foundation. Shear walls are efficient, both in terms of construction cost and effectiveness in minimizing earthquake damage in structural and nonstructural elements. Shear walls in buildings must be symmetrically located in plan to reduce ill-effects of twist in buildings. The presence shear wall building is expected to reduce the earthquake plan so that the safety and comfort of residents under control.

Abstract

The more rapid economic development, the more rapid the development of infrastructure. In civil engineering, one of the sciences studied is land surveying. In this case it is intended not only to measure land alone, but can be broadly developed, that is, mapping things according to the originals. In a construction for example the measurement of the position of the excavation of the foundation, and measurement of other structures both horizontally and vertically. For performers construction measurements are the main requirements that must be owned, because when the size is wrong, the results will be wrong. Construction actors are those who are involved in it, from those who plan it and also those who carry it out, from unskilled laborers to work leaders, measuring using simple tools or using modern tools that will further accelerate the results of work. So in civil engineering at Majalengka University, it was learned how to measure flat and detailed measurements using automatic level, theodolite, and total station. Measurement techniques are studied in soil surveying practicum subjects. In the world of professional work, measurement workers are called Surveyors. The more sophisticated the measuring instrument, the faster the task is completed. Majalengka University Civil Engineering Study Program at the beginning of the seventh semester did job training. It was then that the author had the opportunity to forge deeper geometry as well as practical work on the Cipanas Dam Construction Project.

Abstract

Gandu-Panongan 1 road is one part of the connecting road between the gandu village in dawuan sub-district to panongan village in jatitujuh sub-district gandu panongan 1 road uses a flexible pavement structure that uses asphalt as an aggregate binding material so that it has a relatively flexible road structure, resulting from the research on the implementation of the improvement of the gandu-panongan road later it is hoped that it can be used as comparative data to carry out road improvement works both government or private institutions, the pavement implementation of the gandu-panongan1 road work uses asphalt mixing plant with a thickness of 40 mm or 4 cm.

Abstract

The Silktown apartment project Alexandria tower has a number of 33 floors, 869 units is one of the apartment projects in the city to meet the needs of the megapolitan community for residential homes. This apartment is a community dream to have a modern residence with luxurious facilities. The structure used in the silktown Alexandria tower apartment construction project uses reinforced concrete structures with fc'35 MPa concrete quality and the quality of reinforcement in this project using Fy 400 Mpa (BJTD - 40)> D10 and Fy 240 Mpa (BJTP-24) <8 guideline for planning the structure of this project namely PPUIG 1983, SKSNI T-15-1991, SNI 03-2847-2002 and structural analysis using SAP2000 to calculate the loading that occurs with the final result in the form of Moment value, shear force is carried out regarding structural elements including: plate, beam and column. The results of the analysis and calculation of the structure will get how much reinforcement and inter-reinforcement distance needed in each structural element then described in accordance with the detailed reinforced concrete.
