LENTERA : JOURNAL OF GENDER AND CHILDREN STUDIES adalah jurnal peer-review yang berfokus pada isu gender dan anak. Tujuannya adalah untuk menyebarkan pengetahuan yang relevan dan memberikan kerangka kerja bagi transformasi sosial dalam kesetaraan gender dan perlindungan anak. Abstract

Masalah pelecehan seksual sudah banyak terjadi di banyak tempat, bahkan banyak kasus-kasus pelecehan seksual yang telah terpublikasi dan ada yang tidak terpublikasi dikarenakan beberapa satu hal yang membuat tidak dipublikasikan. Pelecehan seksual tidak memandang tempat, bahkan banyak tempat terjadi pelecehan seksual salah satu adalah kampus. Oleh karena itu jurnal ini dibuat untuk melihat tanggapan-tanggapan dari sudut pandang mahasiswa di Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya. Apakah mahasiswa/i sudah mengetahui informasi mengenai tindak pidana pada pelecehan seksual itu sendiri, apakah mereka merasa setuju dengan pidana yang dikenakan untuk pelaku. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data dan penyebaran angket kepada para mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya dengan analisis data berbentuk prosentase. Oleh karena itu, kami mengharapkan bahwa dengan dibuatkan jurnal ini, para pembaca jurnal ini bisa saling mengetahui tanggapan para mahasiswa Institut teknologi Telkom Surabaya mengenai tindak pidana pelecehan seksual dan juga mengharapkan para mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya ini lebih paham dalam tindak pidana pelecehan seksual.

Abstract

Gender role merupakan konsep yang terbentuk oleh budaya, dan konstruk sosial yang sudah disosialisasikan sejak dini. Dalam masyarakat, pemaknaan gender role sendiri dapat memunculkan adanya gender stereotyping yang kemudian memunculkan ketidaksetaraan gender. Literature review ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pemaknaan gender role yang terbentuk pada masyarakat dalam berbagai setting disetiap budaya. Hasil kajian dilakukan kepada sembilan jurnal yang berasal dari negara India, Indonesia, Turki, Spanyol, Swedia, dan Afrika Selatan dalam berbagai setting berbeda dikehidupan sehari-hari. Ditemukan bahwa India, Indonesia, Turki, Spanyol, dan Afrika Selatan merupakan negara penganut pemaknaan gender role tradisional dikarenakan dalam negara tersebut ditemukan adanya ketidaksetaraan gender, gender stereotyping, bahkan femicide. Pada Swedia, Indonesia, dan Spanyol merupakan negara yang sedang berusaha untuk memperjuangkan kesetaraan gender, dikarenakan hal tersebut berefek terhadap work-life balance, peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, dan perkembangan ekonomi. Untuk kedepannya, disarankan agar masyarakat dapat menerapkan edukasi gender sejak dini demi menciptakan adanya kesetaraan gender.

Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada representasi kesetaraan gender dalam iklan Aqua Dulu (untuk semua anggota keluarga). Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana kesetaraan gender diungkapkan dalam video promosi “Aqua Dulu (untuk semua anggota keluarga)” merek air minum Aqua. Isu korespondensi orientasi merupakan isu sosial yang sering menjadi bahan olok-olok di mata publik karena isu ini efektif atau isu yang tidak ada habisnya. Dalam tinjauan ini, peneliti menggunakan strategi telaah teks media dengan pendekatan pandangan dunia dasar. pendekatan, yang kemudian diteliti dengan menggunakan telaah semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Penyelidikan semiotika Sanders Peirce. Konsekuensi dari eksplorasi ini adalah keluarnya orientasi keadilan dalam video iklanl "Aqua Dulu (untuk semua anggota keluarga)" yang menggambarkan sebuah keluarga yang rukun dan saling membantu satu sama lain tanpa lupa akan kewajiban utama setiap pekerjaan. Suami ditampilkan sebagai sosok yang mampu melayani istri sekaligus mengasuh anak. Kajian ini didasarkan pada rekomendasi penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan rasa kesetaraan gender di masa depan. Kata Kunci : Representasi, Kesetaraan Gender, Aqua, Analisis Semiotika.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of empowerment of the Seruni Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Ngancar Village, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency as an effort to improve the local community's economy. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was located in Ngancar Village, RT/RW 13/02, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, questionnaires to 67 respondents, and documentation. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of empowerment for KWT Seruni was carried out through several stages, starting from providing material on how to make noodles from those equipped with facilities in the form of the necessary tools to providing material on packing by conducting a comparative study with MSMEs in Malang. This empowerment program can help Geyong Hamlet female farmers increase their income through the production of vegetable-based food. Keywords: Empowerment, Farmer Women’s Group, Economic Improvement

Abstract

The need for legal protection for children is very important for society, technological developments have also led to an increase in various crimes that can happen to anyone, including children. In order for every child to be responsible for defending his nation and state in the future, every child must have the widest opportunity to grow and develop optimally both physically, mentally and socially. However, the best interests of the child must always come first, especially if the child is a victim of sexual abuse. Because supervision of children is very important both in terms of maintaining and quality of life and the future of the nation, crimes of sexual violence against children must be dealt with immediately and the rights of children as victims of crime must be addressed. protected Based on the research results it can be understood that the legal protection of child victims of sexual crimes is based on law. Factors causing the occurrence of sexual crimes against minors are internal factors such as weakening of faith/trust, psychosocial disturbances and sexual disturbances. External factors include moral values and customs, poverty/economic factors, the mass media. Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children can be likened to an iceberg, of which only a small number are reported while most are not reported. The stigma in society that views sexual violence as shameful makes victims afraid to report. Integrated handling of cases of sexual violence against children to ensure the fulfillment of children's rights is very important. This research aims to describe the implementation of assistance to child victims of sexual violence carried out by the Burangir Institute. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used observation, documentation and interviews. Data validity is seen by using data triangulation techniques, while data analysis goes through three processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of assistance to child victims of sexual violence by the Burangir Institute began with the establishment of a relationship of trust, followed by data collection and diagnosis of the child's mental health condition. Plans and interventions included emotional support, provision of information and legal education, monitoring the legal process, and access to support resources. Evaluation is used to assess the effectiveness of the assistance. Finally, the termination stage is conducted. Then, in the implementation of mentoring at the Burangir Institute, there are supporting factors and obstacles that affect the mentoring process. Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of reminiscence therapy for the elderly at the Husnul Khatimah elderly griya in Malang Regency. In Indonesia, cases of neglect of the elderly by the family are quite high. This is evidenced by the number of neglected elderly people in the identification of PMKS (Persons with Social Welfare Problems) in East Java amounting to 173,871 people from the total population. Reminiscence therapy is very effective for the psychological healing of the elderly suffering from depressive disorders, in addition to reducing symptoms of depression, it has also been shown to increase self-esteem, life satisfaction, mental well-being and loneliness. The research method used was observation. The observation method was chosen because of its flexibility in use and can be supported by documentation. Based on the activities carried out, it shows satisfactory results, the elderly feel satisfaction with the activities received, happy for the arrival of young people who are considered as children and family and the desire of the elderly to continue to be able to gather with servants and students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the resistance of the Indonesian Women's Media Konde Community's reporting on Gender Issues in Cyber Attack Cases. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection was conducted using interview and documentation techniques. The data collected was then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the reporting of gender issues by the Konde Media Perempuan Indonesia community through social media caused resistance in the community. This is characterized by cyber attacks on the social media of the Konde Media Perempuan Indonesia community. The attack is a representation of patriarchal culture and masculinity that is still deeply rooted in society. Patriarchal culture in the real world is manifested in the use of new media. From the perspective of the concept of cyberfeminism, new media is the right tool to voice women's rights. However, the assumption of cyberfeminism is still not proven, one of which is due to the case of cyber attacks on the social media page of Konde Media Perempuan Indonesia. The hacking is a form of resistance to women's issues voiced by Konde in the new media.

Abstract

Women do not get the same opportunities for promotion and career development as their male counterparts. This research aims to explore how educational supervision can be used strategically to strengthen women's position in education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. The research was conducted at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) in As-Salam, Pasuruan Regency. The research period is 3 months, namely March-May 2024. The research subjects are female educators/teachers and the head of PKBM As-Salam Pasuruan Regency. Data collection techniques, namely in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The research results show that educational supervision provides emotional support, increases competence, and expands career opportunities for female teachers. Developing inclusive practices, providing moral support, and reducing gender inequality are the main findings in this research. The implication of this research is the importance of strengthening the role of educational supervision in supporting the welfare and empowerment of female teachers in education. The implication of this research is the importance of strengthening educational supervision in supporting women's empowerment in equal education, as well as creating an inclusive and fair learning environment for all individuals. The results of this research can provide a valuable contribution to the development of more inclusive and equitable educational policies and practices.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of domestic violence with a focus on cases of premeditated murder between husband and wife from a psychological and criminological perspective. This type of descriptive qualitative research uses a case study approach. The cases used are sadistic murders by husbands against wives and vice versa, which are caused by economic factors, interpersonal conflicts, emotional stress and schizophrenic conditions which give rise to aggressive attitudes. The involvement of gender in a patriarchal context is also debated in the dynamics of this crime. The results of this study underscore the importance of improvements in gender equality and understanding the psychological dynamics underlying cases of domestic homicide.
