IEMJ: Islamic Education and Management Journal merupakan sebuah jurnal ilmiah berkala yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LP2M) Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Ki Ageng Pekalongan. Jurnal ini fokus pada kajian ilmu di bidang Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Kami selaku pengelola IEMJ menerima kontribusi dalam bentuk artikel dari para ilmuwan, akademisi, profesional, dan peneliti dalam disiplin ilmu Manajemen Pendidikan Islam untuk diterbitkan dan disebarluaskan setelah melalui mekanisme seleksi naskah, mitra bestari, dan proses penyuntingan. Pada setiap tahunnya, IEMJ terbit dua kali, yakni bulan Mei dan November.

Abstract

This research was conducted at MA Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, aiming to identify the condition and role of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pembangunan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. The method used is descriptive qualitative, including field surveys, interviews with stakeholders, and analysis of data from various sources. The results show that the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure has a positive correlation with improving the quality of learning and the ability of students to achieve a proper and technology-based education. This study concludes that investment in facilities and infrastructure development should be prioritized by schools to improve educational progress. Recommendations include increased budgets, comprehensive planning and community involvement in the development process to ensure local needs are met and sustainability is assured.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reading corner program at MISS Proto 02 Kedungwuni Pekalongan. The type of research used is field research while the approach used is a qualitative approach. The data sources used came from primary and secondary data. While the method of collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the reading corner of MISS Proto 02 Kedungwuni Pekalongan includes various aspects, including planning, namely forming a student reading corner team and appointing a mentor. Then, implementation, namely during Indonesian language lessons and during the second break. Furthermore, evaluation, namely evaluation through the supervising teacher and evaluation based on student records.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the response and readiness of teachers of Yayasan Madrasah Islamiyah (YMI) Wonopringgo in facing the independent curriculum. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis used an interactive analysis model proposed by Miles and Hubermen. The results show that the response of teachers in the Yayasan Madrasah Islamiyah (YMI) Wonopringgo is different. While in readiness, it shows that there is no mature readiness made by teachers in the Yayasan Madrasah Islamiyah (YMI) Wonopringgo in facing the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the excellence of SD Islam 01 YMI Wonopringgo in integrated quality management of customer-focused education, total involvement, measurement, commitment, and continuous improvement. This research uses the theory of Jerome S. Arcaro. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was done by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is done by reducing data, after which it is presented in the form of descriptions, and verified by drawing conclusions. The results showed that the advantages of education quality management at SD Islam 01 YMI Wonopringgo are contained in the 5 pillars of quality, including customers, total involvement, measurement, commitment, and continuous improvement.

Abstract

The study of spiritual intelligence is becoming increasingly important in the midst of modernisation, which is marked by the level of development of science and technology. Through this research, it is important to know how to grow spiritual intelligence in the view of Ary Ary Ginanjar Agustian, and how the implications in Islamic education. With the focus of the problem, this research includes library research, conducted by reading, examining, and understanding several sources including: books, scientific works, journals, tabloids, and other sources, with the aim of making it easier to obtain data.VAnalysis of data using descriptive and interpretative techniques. The results show that if a person defines himself as part of the religious community, spiritual intelligence can certainly educate his heart to establish a relationship of intimacy with God's presence. Then, the horizontal implication is that spiritual intelligence educates the heart into good manners and civilised morals.
