Abstract

Elementary schools in Pecatu Village, which are part of Gugus VII in South Kuta Subdistrict, face inequities in the number of students. Schools in densely populated areas have more students, while those in quiet areas have fewer students, impacting on the acquisition of operational funds and the limited allocation of funds for the development of learning facilities. The main problem is the lack of variety in mathematics learning media. The solution is product dissemination to mathematics teachers in Gugus VII, involving socialization, training, and evaluation. Implementation began in July 2023 with team introductions and implementation agreements. Dissemination and training activities were carried out in August 2023, involving 18 participants from six schools. The evaluation showed the partners' appreciation of the product, with the school principal's hope that the activities would continue continuously and could be developed according to the needs of each school. Feedback from students highlighted the desire for comedic or humorous nuances in animation-based learning video content. Student assessment results showed positive acceptance, with 69% strongly agreeing, 26% agreeing, and 5% being less affected by the media.

Abstract

Technology is very important in today's life, especially in the health system. Many medical equipment has been discovered that has a digital system, the aim of which is to make the work of doctors and nurses easier in treating patients. The world is currently faced with the problem of viruses that attack human health. The preventive solution that can be done as early as possible is to wear a mask, keep your distance, and maintain your health and wash your hands frequently. This is done so that bacteria and viruses are not transmitted from one person to another. Communication using WhatsApp is still not supported video conferencing for a participant capacity of up to hundreds of people, therefore we provide socialization on the use of video conferencing via internet-based applications. Thus, the Battuta University service team felt the need to conduct outreach in using more interactive applications to support long-distance communication for Hasanuddin Elementary School teachers. The results of community service achieved are that Hasanuddin Elementary School teachers are able to apply all applications that support holding open and closed meetings given the distance between teachers. It is hoped that the results of this counseling can support communication activities that are not limited in number or regional conditions.

Abstract

Vegetable sticks are a processed product made from spinach which can then be used as a snack or can be called a snack. The obstacles faced by Citra Lestari UMKM are related to their human resources, namely : 1) Employees who are elderly and less productive, 2) Low employee skills, and 3) Lack of management understanding. One solution to overcome the obstacles that exist within Citra Lestari UMKM is to hold socialization in the workplace, as well as mentoring and service programs for employees at Citra Lestari UMKM. By providing opportunities for employees to learn new things, especially those related to skills, employees will be better prepared to handle work challenges and contribute more to business business processes. In implementing PKM activities at Citra Lestari UMKM, the service team has several plans/stages that have been prepared, namely starting from the preparation, observation, training, solution application, supervision and evaluation stages.

Abstract

The implementation of cultural safety and transformative leadership in pediatric nursing care is especially vital in multicultural settings. Pediatric nurses face communication and decision-making challenges influenced by the cultural values of patients' families. However, understanding and applying the principles of cultural safety and transformative leadership practices in pediatric nursing units remains limited. This community engagement program aims to enhance the capacity of pediatric nurses in applying these principles through education, training, and mentoring. The program included a preparation phase, a two-day interactive workshop, two weeks of field mentoring, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests, as well as daily reflections. A total of 20 pediatric nurses participated in the entire series of activities. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding; the average score for cultural safety increased from 62.3 to 84.1, and for transformative leadership from 58.7 to 81.5. Moreover, participants demonstrated more reflective and inclusive behavior in nursing practice and team leadership. This program proved effective in improving pediatric nurses' knowledge and skills related to cultural safety and transformative leadership. Therefore, it is recommended that the hospital continue the training regularly and expand it to other units to improve the quality of culturally sensitive nursing care
