Abstract

In general, classroom action research aims to increase learning motivation through collage activities for children in Group B of TK Pertiwi II Pringsurat Temanggung in the second semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Specifically, it aims to: (1) find out the application of collage activities can increase children's learning motivation (2) To determine the magnitude of the increase in children's learning motivation after collage activities are carried out. The research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of stages planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Cycle I consisted of two meetings, as well as Cycle II. The subjects in this study were children in Group B, with a total of 16 children. The object of this research is to increase children's learning motivation through collage activities. In this study, the data collection methods used were observation, documentation and interviews. The results showed that during the implementation of collage activities with various materials at TK Pertiwi II Pringsurat, the researchers motivated all children, especially children who were not confident. After the action was taken, in Cycle I, the child started to want to do the given task. In Cycle II the children have shown an increase in their learning motivation. From the results of the research described above, collage activities can increase children's learning motivation. The children also seemed happy in doing collage activities both in Cycle I and Cycle II. The advantages of the activities carried out are very varied, including collage activities using various basic fields and using varied and diverse materials. Through fun learning activities, children's learning motivation can develop optimally.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is that the literacy skills of students at SDN 01 Wonokromo are good but there are still some that are lacking, especially in solving the existing Minimum Competency Assessment questions. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' literacy skills in solving Minimum Competency Assessment questions at SDN 01 Wonokromo. This type of research uses a qualitative description approach using the methods of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that student's literacy skills in solving AKM questions were well known from observations to the distribution of questionnaires carried out in class V. Knowledge of AKM and student literacy was carried out well and went smoothly with an average score of 74%, supporting facilities and infrastructure the activities owned are very good with a score of 81%. The involvement of teachers, principals, and education personnel is good with an average score of 73%. All school communities participate in helping students in the AKM process and overcoming various obstacles that students experience with an average score of 63%. Based on the results of the research, the suggestions concluded that students' literacy skills in solving Minimum Competency Assessment questions can be improved again so that students will understand more about the questions and can get more satisfactory grades.

Abstract

This study aims to describe classroom management strategies in 20 driving schools in the city of Semarang. The research was conducted in 20 primary schools driving the city of Semarang. In this study, qualitative research methods were used with an ethnographic approach and data collection techniques by distributing google form questionnaires. The results showed that the teacher's strategy in managing the class was to condition students before starting learning, arrange student seats, and arrange the beauty of the classroom.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is the low grades of Pancasila students in elementary school age children. It is hoped that the G3OS/PKI film by Arifin C Noer can be a reference for Pancasila students through an innovative and fun way by watching to increase the value of Pancasila students at elementary school age. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, documentation, and observation and recording methods. The results of the analysis are that the G30S/PKI film contains six values ??of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely Faith and piety to God Almighty, and noble character, Global Diversity, Mutual Cooperation, Independent, Critical Reasoning, and Creative. The six values ??of Pancasila students appear in the description of the scenes and actions taken by the film characters. Of the six values ??of Pancasila lessons, the value of Critical Thinking is the value that often appears in the G30S/PKI film. The G30S/PKI film is based on a total analysis that includes all the values ??of Pancasila students which is used as a reference and the results of interviews with school principals, sixth grade teachers and sixth grade students, the G30S/PKI film deserves to be used as an example for the audience, especially children and the application of student grades Pancasila in everyday life.

Abstract

The low interest in reading in elementary school students at this time so that it is necessary to get used to reading 15 minutes every day before learning begins. The School Literacy Movement plays an important role in institutions because reading activities can provoke students to read so that it will increase students' reading interest in each school. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from carrying out observations or observations, interviews with the Principal and 6 Class Teachers and filling out an open questionnaire. Based on research, the implementation of the School Literacy Movement has been going well, although not optimally, and there are differences and similarities that have been prepared or strategies from classroom teachers to increase students' reading interest. The method used by low grade and high grade teachers. The impact of the School Literacy Movement experienced by students during the habit of reading 15 minutes before learning begins. facilities and infrastructure in schools to support the School Literacy Movement program, namely a library equipped with a reading corner and interesting illustrated reading books.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of saving activities and Friday charity activities for fourth graders at Kalikalong 01 State Elementary School, Pati Regency. The background that drives this research is the importance of habituation of saving and charitable activities for students from an early age. This is important because through this habituation will shape the personality and character of students who are good in the future and instill the behavior of saving life and helping each other to others. This type of research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques in the from of questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students. From the results of research on saving activities based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that if students think about their future needs, they can still be managed if they are interested in saving their money at school. Then the results of research on Friday charity activities that most students are active in participating in these activities. This activity is able to train students to care for each other and help others who are experiencing difficulties, and it can be seen that student solidarity is starting to develop, because most students have started consistently showing their various participations in the implementation of Charity Friday activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the media needed to deal with plastic waste in three elementary schools, including Kalikalong 01 State Elementary School, Sambiroto 01 State Elementary School, and Tayuwetan 02 State Elementary School located in Pati Regency. The background behind this is plastic waste that has not been managed optimally by the school, especially students. This is important because it can reduce plastic waste and care for students in the surrounding environment. This type of research is aqualitative research with data collection in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of this study were the first to sixth grade teachers who teach in the three elementary schools. From the research results, educators have understood the processing of plastic waste, namely the manufacture of ecobricks. However, the manufacture of ecobricks does not yet have a manufacturing guide that can be implemented for students.

Abstract

This study was to find out the reasons for choosing the home visit method, how the process of implementing the home visit method was, how the response of parents and students to the implementation of the home visit method to overcome student learning problems in the mathematics subject matter of fractions in class IV SDN Batursari 6 Mranggen Demak. This type of research is qualitative research. The research population is class IV SDN Batursari 6 Mranggen Demak. The research subjects were all students of class IVB at SDN Batursari 6 Mranggen Demak for the academic year 2021/2022. The data in this study were obtained through teacher and principal interview instruments, observation sheets, parent and student questionnaires, and documentation. The implementation of home visits can be an effort to overcome student learning difficulties because teachers can know firsthand the condition of the learning environment and the development of each student.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is the low learning outcomes of thematic 2 subtheme 1 in grade II elementary school students. This is due to the lack of application of learning models that are not monotonous in the learning process.The problems in this study are: (1) The learning process is still dominated by the teacher. (2) The media used has not been varied and in accordance with the material. (3) In addition, students are less active in teaching and learning activities, resulting in low student learning outcomes. The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of scrapbook learning media on thematic learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Getas. This type of research is quantitative research with quantitative experimental method and uses One Group Pretest Posttest Design research design. The population used is the entire sample of class II for the academic year 2022/2023. Data collection techniques based on observations and student learning outcomes.The results showed an increase in learning outcomes without being given treatment and learning outcomes using scrapbook media experienced differences. This can be proven from the results of classical learning completeness, which is 80% with good criteria and 28 students who complete with the highest score of 100. The percentage of complete student learning outcomes by implementing scrapbook learning media can be seen from the posttest score, which reaches 80% or already more than the percentage provisions, with the number of students who completed 28 and as many as 7 students who did not complete. The results of the cognitive pretest and posttest data showed differences, in the cognitive pretest test as many as 15 students who completed with the highest score of 90 and as many as 20 students who did not complete with the lowest score of 20, the percentage of classical pretest learning completeness reached 43%. While the cognitive posttest value using scrapbook learning media has reached KKM 65 as many as 28 students who completed with the highest score of 100 and 7 students did not complete with the lowest score of 50, the percentage of posttest classical learning completeness reached 80%. So, it can be said that scrapbook learning media can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students with the Ecosystem theme at SD Negeri 1 Getas. So it can be concluded that learning by using it can be concluded that it is proven that the effectiveness of scrapbook learning media in improving the learning outcomes of class V students with the Ecosystem theme at SD Negeri 1 Getas is said to have achieved good criteria.

Abstract

For the sake of achieving human resources who have noble character, are competent, skilled, and able to master science and technology that are increasingly advanced. For the sake of creating the vision of national education, there are several steps that must be taken, namely an educational process in schools or educational institutions that is carried out properly. Education in schools is said to have run well if the learning process is carried out consciously and runs effectively and efficiently. This is in line with RI Law Number 20 Article 1 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. Permendikbud no. 67 of 2013 concerning the SD curriculum, that the Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in Elementary Schools / Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is carried out through learning with an integrated thematic approach from Class I to Class VI. Thematic learning objectives as described above can be achieved properly if supported by an appropriate learning strategy and model. These learning strategies and models must enable students to take an active role in the learning process. Based on the results of observation and documentation, it is known that the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri Lobang 01 are still not as expected. The latest data shows that the average value of evaluation results for fifth grade students in odd semesters of the 2022/2023 academic year in learning without using the Project Based Learning learning model is 68.33 out of 18 students, there are 8 students who have not completed yet and 10 students get a complete score with minimum completeness criteria i.e. 70.00.
