Abstract

Ther aim of this rerserarch is to derterrminer ther increraser in langurager skills of yourng childrern throurgh fairy talers ursing hand purpperts. This rerserarch was motivaterd by ther low lerverl of childrern's langurager skills, serern from ther rersurlts of initial obserrvations which showerd that of ther total nurmberr of 20 childrern who courld urnderrstand what ther teracherr was saying and werrer abler to rerterll ther simpler storiers thery herard, therrer werrer only 7 childrern. This is bercaurser oner of ther lerarning merthods is lerss interrersting bercaurser it is not surpporterd by interrersting and furn erdurcational gamer merdia surch as hand purpperts. Ther typer of rerserarch urserd is derscriptiver quralitativer with classroom action rerserarch and ther Kermmis & Mc moderl. Taggart. Ther placer of this rerserarch is grourp B at KB Burstanurl Urlurm. Ther rerserarch surbjercts werrer 20 sturdernts consisting of 7 maler sturdernts and 13 fermaler sturdernts. Data collerction terchniqurers urser obserrvation shererts. This rerserarch is considerrerd surccerssfurl if 71% of childrern can ber said to ber derverloping verry werll and derverloping according to erxperctations. Ther rersurlts in this sturdy show an increraser in ther langurager skills of yourng childrern. Ther improvermernt can ber provern from ther rersurlts of cycler I. Ther total nurmberr of childrern who haver derverloperd according to erxperctations and derverloperd verry werll is 13 childrern with a perrcerntager of 65% and in cycler 2 ther total nurmberr of childrern has achierverd derverlopmernt according to erxperctations and derverloperd verry werll, totaling 17 childrern with a perrcerntager of 85%.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of elementary school students tend to be low due to the lack of innovation in the learning process, including the use of models and media that can encourage active student participation. This study aims to determine the difference in the average between students' pretest and posttest scores before and after learning using the Group Investigation model assisted by Truth Or Dare Card media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD 3 Wergu Wetan, and analyze the increase in students' pretest and posttest scores before and after learning using the Group Investigation model assisted by Truth Or Dare Card media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD 3 Wergu Wetan. This study uses a quantitative pre-experimental approach and one group pretest-posttest. The study population consisted of 27 fifth grade students. This study uses a saturated sampling technique, so that all members of the population are sampled. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis in this study used the normality test, paired sample t-test and n-gain test. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that based on the paired sample t-test, the t-count value was obtained at 24.437 with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, this indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, in the N-Gain test, the score obtained was 0.6273 with a moderate category and an increase in the average N-Nain percentage of 62.7267%. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the Group Investigation learning model supported by the Truth Or Dare Card media has an effect on the learning outcomes of the Indonesian Kaya Raya material for grade V elementary school students. Based on the N-Gain results, it was also obtained that the Group Investigation learning model assisted by the Truth Or Dare Card media can improve the learning outcomes of the Indonesian Kaya Raya material.

Abstract

PJBL is a project-based learning to improve students' creativity by linking it to their daily lives. The focus of learning is on making a project to instill environmental awareness in Elementary Schools by producing a product in the form of a poster of me and my surroundings. In this learning, students are divided into groups of four to five children in one group. The pictures on the poster are the students' daily activities. Learning that is done in groups aims to increase students' self-confidence in expressing their opinions and respecting the opinions of other students. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the PJBL-based learning model in increasing environmental awareness in Elementary Schools. This learning collaborated with grade V educators of Pancasila Education subjects to implement learning, and grade V students. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews to analyze the needs of educators and students. The data analysis technique used data collection, feasibility testing, reliability testing, and product moment correlation validity testing. The product feasibility test uses material experts, language experts, and module presentation experts. The results of this study produce a product in the form of a module that contains LKPD with a PJBL learning model. The product feasibility test states that this module product is suitable for use or does not need revision. The test results obtained quite good scores with scores above the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP) set by educators. The results of the study and supported by previous research, that the PJBL learning model is effective in increasing environmental awareness in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of visual media on the learning outcomes of communicable and non-communicable diseases among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Bantul Timur, Bantul Regency. This research uses a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design with a survey method and a test approach. The subjects of the study include half of the fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Bantul Timur, totaling 35 respondents. Data collection was conducted through a survey using test instruments. Data analysis was carried out using a t-test, after first meeting the prerequisites of normality and homogeneity tests. The t-test results showed that the calculated t value (t hitung) = -5.729 and the t table value (t tabel) (13)(0.05) is 1.697. Since the calculated t value is greater than the t table value (t hitung > t tabel), it is concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of visual media on the learning outcomes of communicable and non-communicable diseases. The average pretest score was 65.86, while the posttest score was 77.14. The average score increased by 11.28 or 17.13%, leading to the conclusion that visual media is effective in improving the learning outcomes of communicable and non-communicable diseases among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Bantul Timur, Bantul Regency.

Abstract

Basic literacy is an important skill that all students should have, especially those at the primary education level. This study raises the problem of the low reading and writing skills of grade 2 students at SDN Kalibeluk 02, namely related to the causes and factors that affect their basic literacy development. The purpose of this study is to examine the basic literacy problems faced by grade 2 students at SDN Kalibeluk 02 and to identify solutions in the form of factors that contribute to improving students' literacy skills and methods to overcome these problems. This research utilized a qualitative approach involving data collection through observations, interviews and documentation studies. As shown by the results of the study, students have difficulty reading, writing and understanding simple texts. Some of the facts obtained towards the problem are low interest in learning, lack of interesting teaching materials, and lack of support from families especially parents during learning at home. This study suggests that literacy improvement efforts should involve students themselves, parents and teachers to create a better learning environment. It is hoped that with attention to these issues, students will acquire the most effective basic literacy skills and support their learning process in the future.
