The scope of Balance: Journal of Economics covers Economics and Development, Economic Behavior, Islamic Economic System, International Economy as well as applied sciences of Statistical Economics, Macro and Micro. Abstract

This research was conducted at PT.Bank Sulselbar Makassar which is located at JL.Dr.Sam ratulangi No.16 Makassar City.This research aims to determine the performance of financial on PT.Bank Sulselbar Makassar by using CAMEL method (Capital, Asset, Management, Earning, Liquidity) as well as knowing the bank's health level. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research, data types used are primary and secondary data,the sample used is financial statements for years 2015 , 2016 and 2017. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques and methods of data analysis is a quantitative descriptive method that is where data are collected, compiled, interpreted, analyzed, classified so as to give information which is complete for problem solvers faced.  From the results of financial performance research and kaiitannya with CAMEL method, it can be said for the last three years (2015-2017) which shows that the financial performance achieved by PT.Bank Sulselbar are on a healthy predicate.

Abstract

The type of research employed a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The data was collected through in-depth interview with the canteen’s user, the canteen’s management and the leader of Pusat Pengembangan Binis (P2B), observation and documentation. The subject of this research consists 2 canteen’s users, staff and of Pusat Pengembangan Binis (P2B). The data analysis was employed based on procedure of data analysis that consisted of steps data collection, reduction, display and conclusion drawing/verifying. The result of study about the calculations and data collection of income and the cost of business units canteen on Pusat Pengembangan Bisnis (P2B) showed that the convenience of the users of the canteen need to be considered to make improvements to building facilities inadequate, and the merchants of the wild that have sprung up in the heart of the campus of UIN Alauddin Makassar need to put in order with how to set up a place for their use, so that can add to the income on Pusat Pengembangan Bisnis (P2B) of UIN Alauddin Makassar.

Abstract

This study has the purpose to know The Work Capital Turnover in terms of increasing profit margin in PT Jati Jaya Perkasa Mandiri period 2014-2017. The subjects in this study were PT. Jati Jaya Perkasa Mandiri and research objects Financial statements for the period 2014-2017 covering items in the Balance Sheet and Income Statement report. Data collection method used in this research is documentation. Data analysis method used in this research was financial ratio analysis. Based on the results of research, it can be known that the performance of working capital management is seen from (1) the turnover of working capital is categorized as  less because under 6 times (2) the increase of profit margin at company PT. Jati Jaya Perkasa Mandiri in 2014 amounted to 11.18% means that each rupiah sales generate profits of Rp 0.1118. Consecutive profit margin in 2015 amounted to 11.84% or increased by 0.66% compared to 2014; in 2016 of 8.30% or decreased by 3.54% compared to 2015; year 2017 of 7.91% or decreased by 0.39% compared to 2016.

Abstract

This research used quantitative with descriptive approach that aims to describe the object of research or research results through data or samples that have been collected, samples in this study as many as 97 respondents. Data collection techniques used are literature research, observation, questionnaires and assisted with documentation to search for actual facts. And the data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis and descriptive analysis which is used to explain the variable of brand awareness (X1) and brand attitude (X2) to consumer purchase interest variable (Y), and do some testing that is validity test, reliability, partial test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of this research indicated that brand awareness (X1) effect significantly positive towards the consumer interest based on multiple linear regression equation with a significant level of 0.032 < 0.05 and t test results of 2.170 > t table 1.985. Brand attitude (X2) has a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest based on multiple linear regression equation with significant level 0,001 < 0,05 and result of t test counted 3,540 > t table 1,985.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative research methods. Data obtained from primary data is through the distribution of questionnaires. Research respondents were all employees of PT. Wijaya Karya Beton. Tbk (Regional Sales VI) Makassar. The questionnaire was processed using the SPSS 22 application. This research is expected to be input for PT. Wijaya Karya Beton. Tbk (Sales Region VI) Makassar to apply SNI ISO (9001: 2015) well. The results showed that the implementation of the ISO ISO Quality Management System (9001: 2015) had a significant positive effect on increasing sales of PT. Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk (Sales Region VI) Makassar. Judging from the value of the determinant coefficient shown by Adjusted R square that is equal to 0.960 shows that 96.0% this means that 96.0% of the implementation of the ISO ISO Quality Management System (9001: 2015) has a significant positive effect in increasing sales of PT. Wijaya Karya Beton. Tbk (Sales Region VI) Makassar while 4% is explained by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Competence on Employee Performance PT.PLN (Persero) Rayon Sungguminasa. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive research. The data is processed as the result of the distribution of questionnaires to employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Sungguminasa. The data processing method used by researchers is simple linear regression analysis. The sampling method is nonprobability sampling and the technique used in taking respondents is accidental sampling. The sample in this study was 54 respondents. Partial test of hypothesis (t-test) with error tolerance level 5% or 0,05. Before the regression process, first tested the research instrument (questionnaire) with the validity and reliability test and the classical assumption test. The results all meet the criteria to be forwarded at a simple linear regression analysis stage. The results of this study showed that the Competence has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance shown through correlation coefficient value (R) of 0,697 and t count > t table at a significant level of 5% (7,007>2,006).

Abstract

MUH. RAMLI, 2018. The Influence of Controlling the Supply of Raw Materials on the Production Process of Mountea Products at PT Triteguh Manunggal Sejati. This study aims to determine the effect ofControlling Raw Material inventrory on the Production Process of Mountea Products at PT Triteguh Manunggal Sejati.  The type of this research used in this research is quantitative research with approach eksplanatori.sampel in this research as much 60 responder. This research uses simple linear regression analysis technique with SPSS program and using data from respondent and documentation from PT Triteguh Manunggal Sejati. The result of the simple linear regression test is Y = Y= 8,461+ 768, which means that the constant value of 8,461 with regression coefficient 768 which states the direction of influence of X variable to Y is positive and sig0,004<0,05 which means that work stress significantly employee performance on PT Triteguh Manunggal Sejati. As for the influence of the raw material inventory control variables on the production process is 60% while the remaining 40% is influenced by other objects.

Abstract

This research aims to determine an individual taxpayer compliance rate in reporting the Electronic Income Tax Notification at Pratama West Makassar Tax Service Office (KPP). The type of research is descriptive qualitative, which researcher does the analysis by describing a circumtance that occur in the field or an object in the form of word description based on information obtained from the authorities, either through interviews or data that has been given. There are three methods to gather the data which are observation, interview, and documentation.The research took two month that was started on March 2018 to May 2018. The results of the research conducted indicate that E-SPT has less role in increasing individual taxpayer compliance in reporting income tax at Pratama Makassar West Tax Service Office (KPP). From year to year, there has been a significant decline from 2015 to 2017. The level of compliance of individual taxpayers in reporting timely e-SPT PPh in 2015 amounted to 38.59%, then in 2016 the level of compliance decreased to 13 , 41% and in 2017 the level of compliance was 4.03%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine perceptions of flour spices brand Sajiku at grocery store ( case study at Nisa store ) .Type of research used in research is case study research with qualitative descriptive approach.  Data obtained through questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation.  Samples in this study were obtained by accidental sampling technique that is 30 people.  Data obtained from respondents tabulated then analyzed with Likert Scale.  Based on the result of research from the questionnaire filling by respondents it can be concluded that the majority of respondents gave answers category Strongly Agree about Sajiku spice flour.  This proves that Sajiku brand seasoning flour is well received by consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of cocoa farmers from 2012 to 2016 and to find out how much cocoa farmers' income contributes to regional development in iwoimendaa sub-district. This type of research is quantitative and qualitative research, data collection using survey method with questionnaire distribution to 44 cocoa farmers who are taken randomly. The income analysis data is managed using the farm income formula and the contribution analysis data is managed using the formula of contributions proposed by J. Simanjuntak quoted by Moch. Nazir. Data processing shows the income of cocoa farmers experienced a decrease, a very drastic decline occurred in 2013 and 2014, which initially in 2012 amounted to Rp. 745,375,000 dropped to Rp. 402.025.000 in 2013 and decreased again to Rp. 74.250.000 in 2014, but in 2015 the farmer's income rose to Rp. 76.7 million, and in 2016 to Rp.79.150.000. and the contribution of cocoa farmers income to regional development is quite big in 2013 with contribution of 134.57%, and the smallest occurred in 2016 with a contribution of 7.89%.
