Abstract

The development of social media has encouraged the emergence of digital communication culture in the form of political satire memes as a means of criticizing public figures. One phenomenon that has attracted attention is the Bahlil Lahadalia meme uploaded by the Instagram account @kemetrianbakuhantam. These memes combine elements of humor, religious symbols, popular culture, and public policy issues that are developing in society. This research aims to analyze the meaning of signs in the Bahlil Lahadalia meme using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and published documentation. Analysis is carried out through the classification of signs based on representation, object and interpretant to fulfill the relationship between signs, social reality and meaning built in memes. The research results show that the Bahlil Lahadalia meme contains elements of representation, object and interpretant which represent social criticism of the image of public officials, government policies and the dynamics of digital political communication. The creators use religious symbols, bureaucratic terms and visual satire to build criticism that is easy for the social media community to understand. Apart from that, memes also show the existence of digital culture related to virality and the attention economy on social media. Thus, it not only functions as digital entertainment, but also as a medium for social criticism and representation of political communication in cyberspace.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires educational institutions to possess leadership capable of steering change and an organization agile enough to respond to environmental dynamics. This study aims to analyze the contributions of digital leadership and organizational agility to enhancing the performance of educational institutions and to develop a conceptual model integrating these two variables. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA 2020 protocol was employed, searching databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Emerald Insight, Taylor & Francis Online, Wiley Online Library, and IEEE Xplore—with Google Scholar as a supplementary source—for publications from 2020 to 2026. Out of 1,842 initial records, 84 articles met the inclusion and quality criteria for thematic synthesis. The analysis reveals that 91% of the studies report a significant positive relationship between digital leadership and organizational agility, 84% confirm the impact of digital leadership on educational institution performance, and 76% of studies examining mediation demonstrate that organizational agility acts as a connecting mechanism rather than merely a parallel predictor. Four key success factors for implementation were identified: information and communication technology infrastructure readiness, adaptive organizational culture, institutional policy support, and human resource digital literacy. The study's novelty lies in its integrated conceptual model, which positions organizational agility as a mediating variable, and the expansion of the research context to include religious educational institutions—such as Buddhist education—which have historically been underrepresented in the literature. This model can serve as a reference for digital transformation development strategies in Indonesian educational institutions.

Abstract

Teacher competency development is a strategic factor in improving educational quality, particularly in Buddhist religious education, which emphasizes the integration of professional competence and spiritual values. However, studies addressing competency development management strategies based on spiritual leadership in Buddhist education remain limited. This study aims to analyze strategic approaches to managing the competency development of Buddhist religious education teachers through the lens of spiritual leadership by synthesizing previous research findings. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The literature search involved query transformation, predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and backward and forward citation tracking, resulting in 50 eligible articles for analysis. The findings indicate that the most prominent dimensions of spiritual leadership include vision, hope/faith, altruistic love, spiritual role modeling, and the internalization of Buddhist values. Teacher competency development primarily emphasizes professional and pedagogical competencies, which contribute to improved teacher performance, organizational culture, work motivation, and instructional quality. Most studies were conducted in formal educational settings, whereas research specifically addressing Buddhist religious education remains limited. This study concludes that integrating spiritual leadership theory with Buddhist principles, including sīla (morality), samādhi (concentration), and paññā (wisdom), provides a holistic, sustainable, and contextually relevant management strategy for enhancing teacher competency in Buddhist educational institutions.

Abstract

Publikasi ilmiah merupakan salah satu kompetensi utama yang harus dikuasai oleh akademisi, peneliti, maupun mahasiswa, karena melalui publikasi hasil penelitian dan gagasan keilmuan dapat disebarluaskan, diuji, dan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat luas. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara komprehensif konsep dasar, jenis, manfaat, struktur, proses, serta etika dalam publikasi ilmiah, sekaligus mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam publikasi ilmiah di Indonesia beserta strategi penyelesaiannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan menelaah berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa publikasi ilmiah memberikan manfaat luas bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, karier akademik, kompetensi mahasiswa, serta reputasi institusi, dan bahwa keberhasilan publikasi sangat ditentukan oleh kepatuhan terhadap struktur penulisan yang sistematis (format IMRAD) serta prinsip etika seperti orisinalitas, kejujuran data, kepengarangan yang bertanggung jawab, dan kewaspadaan terhadap jurnal predator. Tantangan publikasi ilmiah di Indonesia, seperti keterbatasan kemampuan menulis, tekanan publish or perish, dan keterbatasan biaya, dapat diatasi melalui pelatihan penulisan, pembentukan klinik penulisan ilmiah, kolaborasi riset, serta sosialisasi mengenai jurnal predator.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) as a strategy to improve educational organizational performance in the era of digital transformation through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). A total of 51 scholarly articles were selected using the PRISMA guidelines and analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings reveal five key dimensions influencing KM implementation: digital maturity, knowledge-sharing effectiveness, institutional performance improvement, digital literacy capability, and sustainable technological infrastructure. The integration of digital technology, knowledge-sharing culture, human resource development, and digital leadership significantly enhances operational efficiency, innovation, and educational service quality. This study concludes that the synergy of technology, people, and organizational culture is essential for successful KM implementation and sustainable digital transformation in educational institutions.
