Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest of children to care for plants, the lack of concern for plants, the absence of the use of project methods in growing plants. This can be seen from the low awareness of children towards the environment, where children lack interest in maintaining and caring for plants due to the method that is often used by teachers is more of a question and answer method and assignment. So researchers use a different method from the method used usually in Harapan Bunda Kindergarten, which is using the project method which is a learning model that can help children know, and understand in reality. This study aims to determine the influence of project methods to develop children's naturalist intelligence in TK Harapan Bunda Pagaruyung, Tanjung Emas District, Tanah Datar Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods, pre-experimental research design with the type of one-geoup pretest-posttest design. In this study, the population was the entire number of children in Tk Harapan Bunda Pagaruyung, Tanjung Emas District, Tanah Datar Regency consisting of 20 people whose sample was 10 people. The treatment given is to use the project method media in developing naturalist intelligence in children. The results showed that the average pre-test result was 0.85. After carrying out the treatment, there was an improvement seen from the post-test results which averaged 11.90. To test the significance of t0 by comparing t0 with tt at the level of significance of 1%, namely tt = 3.30, it can be known that t0 is greater than tt 3.30>3.25. Thus, it means that there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test in experiments. Thus, the project method affects the knowledge of children's naturalist intelligence in TK Harapan Bunda Pagaruyung, Tanjung Emas District, Tanah Datar Regency.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the presence of children who experience autistic disorders at the Autiscare Snec school. Children who have autism aged 8 years are classified as having moderate autism and experience three disorders, namely interaction disorders, communication disorders, and behavior disorders. The purpose of this study was to see the role of early childhood teachers in dealing with autistic children. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach to reveal and describe a situation/case by directly observing and interviewing about the role of early childhood teachers in dealing with autistic children in Autiscare Snec. The subject in this study was one child who had an autistic disorder. The source of data in this study is Early Childhood Teachers and Curriculum Representatives at Snec Autiscare School. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. For the technique of checking the validity of the data, researchers use triangulation. The results obtained from research at the Snec Autiscare School show that the role of teachers in dealing with autistic children can be seen in teachers who are able to guide and teachers who try to develop children's ability to communicate both ways. Teachers are able to implement a pleasant learning atmosphere for children and facilitate all children's needs for smooth learning while at school, such as learning media. The teacher tries to cause or bring up a child's desire by motivating the child and asking about the child's desire or aspiration. After the teacher knows the answer from the child, the teacher gives praise or reward.

This study aims to explore the impact of physical activity and healthy lifestyle on athletes' mental health. The literature review method was employed to collect, analyze, and synthesize related research findings. The results indicate that regular physical activity and a healthy lifestyle have significant positive effects on athletes' mental health. Physical activity helps reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improves mood, and enhances sleep quality. Healthy lifestyle practices, including good nutrition and stress management, also contribute to athletes' mental well-being. Psychosocial factors such as social support and positive training environments also play a crucial role in maintaining athletes' mental health. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the development of training programs and interventions in sports pay more attention to athletes' mental health aspects. These programs should be tailored to individual needs and encompass aspects of physical activity, healthy lifestyle, and adequate psychosocial support.

Abstract

Aggressiveness is the tendency to behave harshly, violently, or hostilely towards others. It can be physical, verbal, or even emotional. Aggressiveness is often considered a negative trait because it can lead to conflicts and harm both oneself and others. One of the factors that can influence it is self-control, which is the ability to restrain or manage impulsive or excessive urges and behaviors. Eight out of 15 international journals indicate that adolescent aggressive behavior includes various types, such as physical aggression, verbal aggression, and modeling aggression. Self-control has a significant influence on adolescent aggressiveness. The results of the systematic review show that good self-control can help manage and direct aggressiveness toward more positive and constructive outcomes. Other factors that influence aggressiveness include gender, parenting styles, and emotional regulation. Therefore, understanding the interaction of these factors is crucial in addressing and managing aggressiveness to foster healthier social interactions and personal well-being.

Abstract

Adolescents have self-control patterns that still tend to be difficult in their development, so they are vulnerable to experiencing and committing violence in their social interactions. The violence in question can be any form of action such as bullying, emotional, psychological, physical or sexual violence experienced by teenagers. The findings of the problem of bullying in the form of violence also occurred among Muhammadiyah school students in Jember district. This problem of violence involves all elements starting from peers, teachers, parents, the school environment and the home environment. The IPM Jember community, which is an agent of change in the school environment, needs more in-depth education regarding the issue of youth violence through providing psychoeducation. The aim of the psychoeducation program is to increase IPM Jember students' awareness and knowledge about violence against teenagers. This research uses a quantitative experimental approach with a quasi-experimental type of experiment. The research design used is a pre-post test which will be given before and after intervention treatment in the form of psychoeducation. The subjects used in this research were 18 IPM Jember community administrators with samples taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used a paired t test which was used to compare the average measurements before and after the intervention was given. The research results based on the paired samples test have a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there is a significant difference between the pre-test variables and the post-test variables. This indicates that the intervention or psychoeducation provided is effective in improving outcomes.
