Abstract

The quality of learning mathematics in the classroom is influenced by the lesson plan that the teacher prepares long before the lesson is implemented, including the design of math assignments or problems. A task or problem should be able to encourage students to improve their thinking skills. One of the tasks that can encourage students to think at a higher level is rich mathematical tasks. The development of rich mathematical tasks is very important considering that these tasks can encourage students to think logically, creatively, innovatively, communicatively and evaluatively. This study aims to develop the design of rich mathematical tasks to increase the level of students' thinking skills. The method used is development research which consists of three phases, namely the preliminary study phase, the development phase, and the final phase. However, this study is reported in the first two phases. The instruments used include prototype validation sheets and rich mathematical task question sheets. The results of this study are two problems that are developed, each of which is concentrated on the material of Three Variable Linear Equations System (SPLTV) and Comparison. This problem was then validated and obtained a score of 89.6%, which means that the problem is valid without needing to be revised. The try-out was carried out at partner schools involving 26 students in class XI IPA 1. The test results showed that the level of students' thinking skills was still at the level of application, although there were some students who showed an analysis level.

Abstract

Using the Canva application is not just about installing pictures, but also how to make attractive presentations for students to present. Problems that are often faced by students in demonstrating the results of presentations are often less interesting. One of the things that can be done to simplify and create an attractive appearance in making a presentation material is to take advantage of a digital platform that provides various kinds of templates. An app that meets these criteria is Canva. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the use of the Canva application as material for student presentations in demonstrating the results of discussions or group work in mathematics. The research method used is a literature study. This research resulted in the following conclusions: 1) efforts to improve junior high school students' math presentation skills can be done with the Canva application; 2) there is a need for training in using Canva as a learning medium to improve junior high school students' math presentation skills; 3) To find out other benefits and effectiveness in using the Canva application as a medium for learning mathematics, further research is needed to support the achievement and success in using media for learning mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to think mathematically to strengthen mathematical dispositions through collaboration between students and teachers. Qualitative type research with R&D development research design. the data comes from 20 class XA students at Maniamas Ngabang High School in the matrix material for the 2021/2022 school year. The research results obtained that: 1) there are several steps of mathematical thinking ability to strengthen mathematical disposition through collaboration between students and teachers which can be seen during the process of learning activities and when solving matrix questions where students have fulfilled all four indicators of mathematical thinking ability seen from learning activities in The 2nd RPP namely deepening, guessing, generalizing, and convincing; 2) the ability to think mathematically to strengthen mathematical dispositions through collaboration between students and teachers is in accordance with the visible results of students' mathematical thinking abilities being met where students solve problems well and have indicators of ability to think mathematically and have an attitude of confidence, persistence, tenacity, in doing all math assignments and have a high curiosity in mathematics.

Abstract

 Abstrak: Penguasaan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik sangat berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan mengajar guru dalam pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar. Guru kebanyakan lupa bahwa masing masing anak pada tingkatan usianya memiliki tahapan-tahapan dalam proses berfikir dan memanaje pembelajarannya. Anak di usia sekolah dasar cenderung memiliki sifat selalu ingin bermain dalam dunia nya, memahami matematika melalui benda-benda konkrit dan mengubungkan konsep-konsep matematika melalui kehidupannya sehari-hari atau disebut dengan literasi. Literasi matematika merupakan proses pembelajaran matematika yang menghubungkan konsep matematika melalui masalah kehidupan sehari-hari, agar siswa mampu berpikir lebih kritis dan terampil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa bagaimana problematika penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis literasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi (pengamatan), wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan melalui reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah proses pembelajaran cendrung dilakukan melalui penghafalan atau belajar dengan symbol tanpa menghadirkan media yang sesuai dengan karakter anak, aktifitas atau model pembelajaran.. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogik, Pembelajaran Matematika, Literasi

Abstract

The problem that often occurs is the decreased interest in learning and the results of learning mathematics in these students. The purpose of this study was to increase students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics using the guided inquiry method at MTs. Al-Ishlahussibyan. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of several stages including the stages of planning, action, implementation and reflection on the results of the research conducted. The population of this research is all MTs students. Al-Ishlahussibyan, with the sample of this study being class IX students, data collection was carried out by administering an evaluation test of students' mathematics learning outcomes and a questionnaire of students' interest in learning mathematics, the results showed that there was an increase in the average learning outcomes of 57.98 out of 28, 77 in Cycle I and became 86.75 in Cycle II, as well as increasing students' interest in learning mathematics from cycle I with a positive category to Cycle II becoming a very positive category, it can be concluded that the use of the guided inquiry method can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics in class IX at MTs. Al-Ishlahussibyan. Based on this research, it is hoped that it can help students and teachers in the learning process so that it can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics for the better.

Abstract

The rapid development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) can be used as an alternative way to develop the learning process. one example of learning that utilizes technology is teaching materials. The output of this developed product is an e-module that can be operated through a web browser or .exe file. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of e-modules with a prolem solving approach on the subject of flat-sided space building in class VIII junior high school. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) which refers to the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Balaraja consisting of 35 students in class VIII F in the 2022/2023 school year. The instruments used were interview sheets, material expert validation questionnaires, media expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique was carried out quantitatively descriptive and qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of the development carried out, the percentage of assessments from material expert validators was 85.18%, media experts were 86.28%, educator responses were 93.32%, student responses were 91.91%, and the completeness of student learning outcomes tests was 85.7%. So, it can be concluded that the development of e-modules with a problem solving approach on the subject of flat-sided spaces can be declared valid, practical, and effective in the learning process

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the problem-based learning model with power point media in increasing interest and ability to solve math problems for class XI students at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. The method used in this research is classroom action research which has four stages: action planning, action implementation, data observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study were test techniques, questionnaire techniques, observation techniques and documentation techniques, while the instruments in this study were test instruments, questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that students' interest in learning mathematics was high with a score of 80.13% in both cycle I and cycle II. Students' mathematical problem solving abilities also increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely 45.6% (enough) to 80.6% (high). This increase in interest and learning outcomes was supported by the average learning observation results in cycle I of 89% (very high) which increased in cycle II to 99.33% (very high). Based on the results of this study, it can be said that the application of the Problem Based Learning model with Power Point media can be used as an alternative learning to increase students' interest and ability to solve mathematical problems in class XI MIPA at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of creative thinking skills on students' mathematical connection abilities. The type of research used is ex post facto with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this study was a purposive sampling technique, while the samples selected in this study were 34 students from class X SMK Tarbiyatul Qurro' Selagalas, Mataram City. The instrument used in this study was in the form of description questions which amounted to one item covering the ability to think creatively and one item covering the ability to connect mathematics. The data analysis technique used is the T test and simple linear regression. Before carrying out linear regression analysis, prerequisite tests must be carried out, namely homogeneity, normality and linearity tests. The homogeneity test uses Fisher's test. The results of homogeneity calculations using Fisher's test with manual calculations found that F_count = 1.116 and F_table = 1.787. Because F_count< F_table, the two groups are said to be homogeneous. The results of the simple linear regression equation are Y Ì‚ = a + bX = 36.892+ 0.725X. As for the results of the calculation of the influence test with the T test, obtained T_count = 5.241 and T_table = 2.036 because T_count < T_table with a significant level of 5%, it is concluded that there is a real (significant) influence ) creative thinking skills on students' mathematical connection abilities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Etnomatika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel pada mahasiswa semsester I PGSD STKIP Yapis Dompu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental design dengan one-group­-pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 156 orang dan sampel kelas IA PGSD yang diambil dengan cara Random Sampling. Normalitas data pretest-posstest dan N-Gain dengan menggunakan kolmogorov-smirnov. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan menggunakan Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Etnomatika, lembar observasi aktivitas mahasiswa, dan soal pretest-posttest. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan uji t dan N-Gain. Hasil analisis one sample t-test dengan signifikansi N-Gain 0,000 kurang dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Etnomatika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV) pada mahasiswa semsester I PGSD STKIP Yapis Dompu.
