This journal publishes manuscripts derived from community service and empowerment activities that are applied, solution-oriented, and capable of generating sustainable impacts. The journal encompasses a broad range of themes related to community development. These include initiatives in education and literacy, such as community-based educational enhancement, various literacy programs—reading, numeracy, financial, and digital—and efforts to develop curricula and train teachers, particularly in rural or underserved regions. It also covers the field of appropriate technology, focusing on the application of environmentally friendly and low-cost technologies that improve local productivity and encourage community-driven technological innovations. In the area of economy and entrepreneurship, the journal highlights activities that empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), provide financial management and digital marketing training, and support community-based business initiatives that foster economic independence. The scope further extends to public health, including health promotion, behavioral change efforts, nutritional education, stunting prevention, and maternal and child health awareness programs. Topics related to environment and food security are also welcomed, particularly those involving environmental conservation, waste management education, recycling initiatives, community agriculture, urban farming, and programs that strengthen food sustainability. Manuscripts addressing law and social advocacy are encouraged, especially those that provide public legal education, protect vulnerable groups, or apply conflict mediation rooted in local wisdom. In the realm of culture and tourism, the journal accommodates studies on the preservation and promotion of local arts, community-based tourism development, cultural heritage protection, and cultural digitization. Additionally, the journal includes works on youth and social development, covering youth leadership training, soft skill development, campaigns against drugs and violence, and initiatives that promote community engagement and volunteerism. Finally, contributions related to digital transformation are also within the scope, particularly ICT training for marginalized communities, support for e-government and digital public services, and campaigns that enhance digital literacy and media safety.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak-anak pekerja migran di Malaysia dibina melalui program Community Learning Center (CLC). CLC merupakan pusat kegiatan pembelajaran masyarakat Indonesia, yang didirikan atas upaya, oleh, dan untuk masyarakat lokal, khususnya perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit dan masyarakat lokal di Sabah dan Sarawak, didukung dan dipromosikan oleh pemerintah. Kebanyakan dari anak buruh migran belum dapat menempuh pendidikan secara layak karena terkendala berkas administratif. Pada kebutuhan pendampingan program, dan perlunya pendampingan pada bidang literasi lebih khusus pada aspek muatan Pancasila supaya anak buruh migran juga mempunyai jiwa nasionalisme yang tinggi. Adapun kegiatan yang akan dilakukan dalam program literasi profil pelajar Pancasila dalam internalisasi literasi di Community Learning Center Malaysia. di antaranya: 1) penguatan literasi wacana kebhinekaan 2) pendampingan kegiatan projek profil pelajar Pancasila, dan 3) aksentuasi nilai asta cita dan pengimbasannya. Program literasi profil pelajar Pancasila selaras dengan Program Sekolah Penggerak Balai Besar Guru Penggerak Kemeterian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi dan mendukung program Asa Cita Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Indonesia.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter dan literasi merupakan fondasi utama dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang berkelanjutan, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan. Desa Ledan, Kecamatan Basse Sangtempe, Kabupaten Luwu, memiliki modal sosial dan budaya yang kuat, namun masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam penguatan literasi anak dan pendampingan pendidikan nonformal. Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran desa sebagai ruang pendidikan melalui penguatan karakter dan literasi generasi muda dengan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui tahapan inkulturasi, pemetaan aset, perancangan program partisipatif, dan implementasi kegiatan berbasis aset lokal. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar dan kebiasaan literasi anak, penguatan nilai karakter religius dan sosial, meningkatnya partisipasi pemuda melalui reaktivasi Karang Taruna, serta optimalisasi aset fisik dan budaya desa sebagai media pembelajaran. Sinergi antara mahasiswa KKN dan komunitas lokal terbukti mampu mendorong perubahan sosial yang positif, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan.
