Abstract

This research starts from the problems in the field, namely the implementation of differentiated learning in the newly implemented and applied independent curriculum so that many schools have not been able to implement this differentiated learning. This study aims to see how the implementation of differentiated learning in the independent curriculum in the Indonesian language subject at MIN 3 Tanah Datar, which consists of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. The type of research that the author uses is a qualitative research type with a qualitative descriptive method on the research subjects in the field. The data collection techniques used are through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data processing is carried out qualitatively descriptively, then described based on the problems that occur in the field using effective sentences. The data sources for this study are class 1 teachers, representatives of the Min 3 Tanah Datar curriculum and students. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation (data display) and drawing conclusions. The data validity assurance technique used is triangulation of sources, techniques and time. Based on the research conducted, it is known that teachers carry out differentiated learning planning in the independent curriculum by compiling teaching modules with student needs analysis, identifying the dimensions of the Pancasila profile, determining core competencies, compiling teaching materials, compiling learning implementation, and compiling learning evaluations. Then the teacher carries out the implementation of differentiated learning which consists of 3 aspects, namely content differentiation, products, and processes. There are three evaluations in the differentiated learning process carried out by teachers, namely diagnostic assessment, formative assessment, and summative assessment.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students' speaking courage during learning. The aim of this research is to see the effect of the Time Token Learning Method to increase the speaking courage of Class IV students at SDN 24 Lima Kaum. This type of research is quasi experimental design research, one-group pretest-posttest type. The population in this study was 18 class IV students at SD Negeri 24 Lima Kaum. This research uses a Liker scale instrument, the data analysis techniques used by the examiners are the t-test and n-gain test.The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of the time token learning method on students' speaking courage. The results of the t-test calculation show that to (6, 54) > tt (2,11) at an alpha value of 0.05, thus Ho is rejected. The percentage increase based on the n-gain calculation increasingly shows that the post-test results increased by 39% compared to the pre-test.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low speaking skills of students, this is indicated by the presence of some students still using non-standard, convoluted, and halting language so that the content of the conversation becomes unclear. One of the causes of low student skills is monotonous learning that makes students unable to express their opinions with the right sentence structure, appropriate word choices and appropriate expressions/mimics when speaking. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the time token learning model on students' speaking skills in the Indonesian language subject of class IV MIN 3 Tanah Datar. This type of research is experimental research using a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-protest design type. The population and sample in this study amounted to 23 people or all class IV students. The sample collection technique in this study is the Purpose Sampling technique. The instruments used to collect speaking skills data are tests and observation sheets of students' speaking skills which will be given at the beginning of learning and at the end of learning. The data analysis technique used by the researcher is a prerequisite test and a hypothesis test using a paired sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the average pretest obtained was 40.2. Meanwhile, the average posttest was 75.3. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test sig value (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significant level <a (0.000 <0.05). This means that there is an influence of the time token learning model on students' speaking skills in the Indonesian language subject of class IV MIN 3 Tanah Datar.

Abstract

Chairil Anwar, a seminal figure in modern Indonesian literature, is renowned for his complex poetic expressions that reflect both personal and socio-political dimensions. His works have been widely studied, yet a comprehensive analysis that juxtaposes structuralist and postmodernist approaches remains limited. This study aims to explore the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of Chairil Anwar's selected poems by applying structuralism to uncover the deep structures and linguistic patterns, and postmodernism to interrogate fragmented meanings, intertextuality, and the poet’s deconstruction of dominant narratives. Using qualitative content analysis, the research examines five representative poems, focusing on narrative structure, stylistic devices, and thematic complexities. The findings reveal that structurally, Anwar’s poetry maintains a coherent internal logic and symbolic consistency, while postmodern reading exposes ambiguities, paradoxes, and resistance to singular interpretations. This dual approach highlights the richness of Anwar’s poetic voice and situates his work within both national literary tradition and broader global discourses. The study concludes that integrating structuralist and postmodernist frameworks provides a more nuanced understanding of Chairil Anwar’s poetry, opening new perspectives for literary criticism in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low writing skills of students in writing essays, students have difficulty in developing ideas or concepts in writing according to the predetermined theme, students admit that they are less interested in learning to write, because it tends to be boring. This study aims to determine the effect of the roundtable learning model on the writing skills of fourth grade students of SDN 01 Simabur.  The type of research used is quantitative experiment one group pretest-posttest design. In this study, the population was fourth grade students of SDN 01 Simabur, with a sample size of 15 people. The sampling technique in this study used Purposive Sampling. Data collection in this study used a writing test instrument. By using the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest). The data analysis techniques used are the normality test and homogeneity test, then conducting a hypothesis test using the t-test. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the roundtable learning model on the writing skills of grade IV students of SDN 01 Simabur, this was evidenced by the output of the Paired Sample T-test table above, the Sig value (2-tailed) was 0.000 <0.05, so according to the decision making of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an Influence of the Roundtable Learning Model on the Writing Skills of Grade IV Students of SDN 01 Simabur.

Abstract

Berbicara merupakan suatu kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang dalam mengungkapkan atau mengekspresikan ide, pikiran yang ada dalam diri dan melibatkan orang lain. Sedangkan keterampilan berbicara adalah suatu keterampilan berbahasa yang perlu dikuasai oleh siswa.Maka sebab itu keterampilan MI/SD sanggat diperlukan karena peserta didik dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran harus melakukan interaksi terhadap guru dan temannya.Media sanggat perlu dilaksanakan disekolah yaitu media berkomunisakasi yang dimana berkomunikasi dengan teman dan guru merupakan suatu kegiatan yang sangat perlu dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.Pada peneliti kali ini bertujuan untuk dasar berbicara terhadap peserta didik di SDN 18 Sungai Tarab dalam bertujuan untuk melakukan keterampilan berbicara yang baik yang dimana bentuk tindak tutur yang berupa bunyi-bunyi yang dihasilkan oleh alat ucap dan disertai dengan gerak gerik tubuh dan ekspresi raut wajah.Keterampilan berbicara dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berkomunikasi dengan guru,teman,keluarga,dan lingkungan

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa indonesia di sekolah dasar diarahkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi lisan dan tertulis dengan benar. Pembelajaran apresiasi sastra pada dasarnya merupakan upaya untuk menanamkan siswa agar peka terhadap rasa literatur. Seharusnya mengajarkan apresiasi sastra disajikan kepada guru mahasiswa mampu mengubah sikap siswa yang tidak peduli untuk lebih bersimpati pada sastra. Pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di sekolah dasar dilakukan melalui belajar bahasa indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keterampilan membaca siswa kelas rendah dan kelas tinggi di SDN 31 Selayo Kec.Kubung Kab.Solok sumatera Barat Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan membaca siswa. Hal ini disebabkan karena anak didik kurang memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Membaca merupakan keterampilan berbahasa yang sangat penting peranannya dalam kehidupan. Membaca mempunyai peranan penting dalam melahirkan generasi penerus bangsa yang cerdas, kreatif dan kritis. Dan ditemukan pula fakta dilapangan pada kelas tingkat atas sekolah dasar yang belum bisa membaca dan kurang lancar membaca

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN 23 Rambatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, dan dokimentasi. Deskripsi hasil penelitian yaitu aspek siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan yaitu tidak lancar dalam membaca, banyak kesalahan ketika membaca, sulit membedakan huruf yang mirip, memiliki kekurangan dalam memori visual, dan tidak mampu memahami simbol bunyi. Karakteristik kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa yaitu: kesulitan mengidentifikasi huruf dan merangkai susunan huruf, membalik huruf, mengubah kata, menghilangkan huruf dalam susunan kata, mengeja terbata-bata, mengucapkan kata salah, kurang memperhatikan tanda baca tidak memahami isi bacaan, dan sulit konsentrasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aspek kesulitan belajar membaca permulaan yaitu siswa belum mampu menganalisis huruf, siswa belum mampu mengenali huruf atau kata secara global, siswa mengganggap bahwa huruf atau kata yang dihilangkan tidak diperlukan, siswa belum memahami kaitan antara huruf dan bunyi pada kata meliputi pengetahuan tentang semua huruf (konsonan, vocal, konsonan ganda, bunyi mati, bunyi sempurna, dan sebagainya), dan kekurangan dalam mengenal huruf, bunyi bahasa(fonik) dan bentuk kata.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of examining folklore as intangible cultural heritage, particularly the legend of "Anak Durhaka Ojuang" from Kuantan Singingi Regency, which is rich in moral values but rarely analyzed from a pragmatic linguistics perspective. This research aims to identify and analyze the speech context, types of speech acts, and cultural values embedded in the story. A descriptive qualitative method with discourse analysis was employed, utilizing Austin and Searle's speech act theory and Kluckhohn's cultural value framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a native storyteller and textual analysis of the narrative. The results reveal an informal narration context, yet key utterances—such as Ojuang's denial and his mother's curse—function as declarative speech acts that reproduce the community's cosmological values. The story serves as a mechanism for social control and character education, emphasizing filial piety, religiosity, solidarity, and work ethic. It is concluded that the Ojuang legend is an effective value maintenance system where language acts not merely as a communication tool but also as an instrument for enforcing cultural norms. These findings contribute to folklore research methodology with an integrated linguistic approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the "small talk" discussion style among university students and its impact on the depth of conceptual understanding. This qualitative research employed a phenomenological approach with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis of discussion transcripts from two different courses. The subjects were 25 students from various study programs who actively participated in classroom discussions. The findings indicate that "small talk" discussions—characterized by superficial responses, avoidance of critical debate, repetition of opinions without elaboration, and reliance on personal anecdotes—tend to hinder the development of deeper conceptual understanding. This style often arises due to low self-confidence, fear of being wrong, lack of preparation, and a classroom culture that does not encourage critical inquiry. While "small talk" can create a comfortable atmosphere, it limits cognitive engagement and reduces opportunities for analytical and evaluative thinking. This study suggests the need for more structured and guided discussion strategies to encourage deeper intellectual engagement.
